Dembele looking more central again DRB with Griff out wide right. I'd expected them to be LG in the middle and Dembele on the right. Perhaps it's just LG filling in PRs absence purely with him having a left foot.

Thinking the same DRB, Griffiths is wasted on the right! And can somebody tell me why johannsen is still picked in the team? Rogic should be in there without a doubt!

Like rogic but him and biton in central mid imo too slow . dembele signing could prove to pose some problems.

Can't see Rogic fitting in the way they're set up just now. If the front 3 played more like a 1-2, or a diamond then absolutely. He could be the enganche.

Just feel like johannsen is a waste of a jersey! Big rogic has done more in 5 min than johannsen done in the 1st half! Just feel he makes a big difference when he's on. he's calm in possetion can make a pass and grabs a goal! Watched him against the English in a friendly not that far back and he was outstanding!

Rogic very talented. His futsal feet and height can be a great combination. Could be a great player but he really needs to work on his fitness. He's the most knackered looking footballer I've seen in a while. By the sounds of it SJ will be off anyway. But Rogic is going to be a CAM or not on the pitch really.

Option two leaves Roberts out though. More important we develop our own players yes, but Roberts is probably too dangerous to leave out.

'Formations' aside, all we want is diverse interchanging play. There's goals in our attacking players, all BR needs to do is get the system so that whoever gets the ball, wherever they get it, cause problems.

Looks like Rodgers is struggling to find a spot for Roberts. Griffiths is certainly not a right winger that's for sure. Rogic has to start every game. Our most creative midfielder by a mile.

Good Morning all. Heard an absolute cracker of a rumour ( total BS ) but thought i'd post it. Kolo will sign for us shortly, but not only Kolo were also getting Yaya as he wants to play with his brother again b4 he retires, Yaya will come on a yrs loan with us paying only 50% of his wages ( still reckon that's about 100 grand) . The reason is that Pep has his eye on teirney for next season and sees this as a sweetner and also continues our good relations with man city. never going to happen but a cracking rumour none the less.

Not going to lie, I think Yaya is past his best and although he'd do a job in the spl. I would much rather have tierney for more years to come. Kolo however should be a solid player. Bit off topic but I also think janko has a bright future as a fullback, from what I've seen in pre season he looks very promising.
