Unfortunatly unless Lennon totally arses up the semi and blows the league, The job is his.
We all know it, no point in even thinking or hoping someone else is going to get it.

Guys was just going to post about next manager.
Rumours going about that Lawwell has already promised Lennon one year contract extension.
All these names being bandied about suits the board, as it looks like they are searching the continent, whereas Lennon is in the hot seat, and only Lennon can lose job if he screws up.

ED007 what else is it then. I hear rumours from not just one site All of us hear different rumours every day. This cynical Tim thinks Lawwell will choose the CHEAPEST and less problematic person. A manager from abroad will cost more (even though money is there) and will want a decent transfer budget.
Lennon will probably cost half what Rodgers was on and Kennedy and Duff are already on wage bill, Lawwell will give Lennon SOME cash but not as much as say a Benitez would want.
OK ED007 give us your honest opinion do you think Lawwell and the board will spend big money on a european manager and give him a big budget?

I don't think there are any possible candidates to be honest, I think all this talk of someone like Benitez coming in is going to leave a lot of fans disappointed and as for Martinez, I put him in the same group as your Moyes or Roy Keane, it baffles me how he ever got the Belgium job. It will probably be Neil Lennon.}

You’ve been consistent with your preferred option, realistically other than the Clarke, Lenny, Moyes options do you reckon the board are looking at anyone else? Would anybody else want it, considering the state of the SPL?

I agree with the Martinez comments he must be good at smiling at the right people, Moyes/ keane/ fat Sam and pardrew all guys who have kept getting jobs but don't bring much excitement to hear that's thean to bring 10.

I was impressed when Rodgers came in but I think he needed us as much as we needed him and in truth he did achieve a lot and for that I'm thankful but he also made me fear the champs league anthem 😂😂

Does Lennon have it about him to keep the head and change the way we are playing to be better on the eye or is it results and 10 that matters?

A few months ago I posted about a friend of mine and his business man pal who were friends with Brendan Rodgers both guys travel a lot and have footballing contacts in England as well as Brendan, I met my mate recently and he gave me this update. Make of it what you will.
My friend said Rodgers told him he went to Leicester with the board's BLESSING, £9m saw to that, it was only the fans who felt let down. Lawwell was well aware of leicester's interest.
On Shved, the Ukrainan winger, Celtic have high hopes for him and Lawwell is hoping it saves club money, as apparently moves were afoot to either extend Butke's loan or maybe make an offer, but Lawwell is hoping Shved can replace Burke next season.
On Bayo, it seems Lennon is not as impressed as Rodgers was, the present coaching staff feel Bayo is way off the pace and needs extra fitness sessions to get him up to speed, so next season is his target. Board are also hoping wee Griffiths is back challenging for a first team place also.
On new signings, apparently Rodgers had given the board names, some Lennon would be happy with, others not so. But Lennon is wanting board to get players in place quickly, even if Lennon is not the manager.
As I say all rumours and speculation let's see what transpires.

The Bhoy Shved looks a real talent. heres hoping he can come over and settle he has a cracking left foot.
Bayo i think was always going to be next season even if Rodgers had stayed. Who would you fancy for the job mate? i seen the AVB rumours id take him in a heartbeat.

Rb and CB has to be priority. Potentially 2cb and cover at lb to unless Miller or the American boy is being seen as good enough for next season.
