Reports are saying if Howe come he wants to get Josh king. Remember him being excellent under howe at Bournemouth. He seems to have fallen away abit the last year or so. He's a free transfer though so worth the gameble?

Cory67, as we mentioned on the podcast last night Josh King's salary is much higher than any of our top players. It appears that he is on something around £45k per week at Everton.
Even if he is available on a free transfer his salary expectations would most likely rule us out and it's more likely he could that kind of money in England. If he came in at that kind of money you can be sure a lot of our senior players would be asking for a significant pay rise to either match it or get close to it.
Here's a question though, do you think any fans would even be mentioning his name if Eddie Howe wasn't being touted for the managers job? HH.

Besty, one way around the salary gap with a free transfer like Josh King could be an initial signing on fee with other built in incentives throughout the term of his contract.
I've personnally never heard of him and to be honest, I don't see Howe arriving at Celtic therefore, speculation over this player or others could be purely that 🤔.

I thought there was a player inside Ajeti but it takes more than just talent or ability as we're well aware with some first team players attitudes this season.
We've made some bad buys recently when you look at Klimala, Ajeti and Bolingoli to name but 3.

Guys i agree with you on Ajeti. I think its time wee griff looks elsewhere. He is still one of my recent favourites but i do not think we should waste any more time waiting on him "getting fit". Only he can get himself fit and that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.

See if the Ajeti rumour is true. Scandalous that it wasn't picked up prior to signing him. He didn't just become one of the worst humans beings with a stinking attitude. Complacency at board recruitment level is going to cost us millions in the next few years. Suppose it's ok we sold Big Van Dijk for millions.

Edouard will be sold in the summer and our other 3 strikers aren’t good enough to keep for next season.
I know they haven’t had much game time but Ajeti has only scored One goal in Seven months, Klimala has only scored One goal in 6 months and Griffiths has only scored One goal in 4 months.

Ajeti is just another example of our pathetic recruitment. He joins a mile long line of utter punts who do nothing. The only difference is we spent £5m instead of our usual £2-3m. If we don't have the worst scouts in world football I pity the fools even worse than us. The only light in the tunnel we are in is Lawell, the architect of our strategy us leaving. Pity it's over ten years and 9 out of 12 failures to reach the CL late. If he took all the duds he signed home, he would need to buy a tower block to house them.
