Christie to isolate for 14 days from Tuesday after Armstrong tested positive with Scotland.

Not saying it's the cause; but International football is the last thing that players should be asked to play with so many increased positive tests surfacing by the hour, with high-risk and heightened alerts in so many countries. European ties should also be suspened.
Domestic football was hard enough to 'police' and contain without large groups moving around in confined spaces and travelling.

Christie got it through contact with Armstrong, international football should be cancelled for now, its taking players out of there club bubble and mixing it will never end well, celtic should call all there players back! Apart from duffy we need him for tomorrow 😜.

Taylor and Calmac should be withdrawn from the squad immediately before they are infected as well .

Call me cynical but I wonder if the Rangers will mpanage to get there full strength first 11 available for the game next weekend and then 3 or 4 just happen to test positive just after.

@Jonbhoy The results are provided by an independent body, not the club. Unless their tests are being verified at the local masonic I reckon it's all fairly above board.

If you have problems arising in various domestic arenas, why on earth would you even think of pulling players together from said areas 😳 If FIFA were concerned about anyone but themselves, internationals should be the first thing stopped but this ****in leach of an organisation puts itself above the survival of what it actually feeds of of 🤬.

Christie hasn't "got it". He's been identified as a close contact with Armstrong who is positive. Ryan is contesting this.

If Edouard is on the bench he would need to wear a mask. If he goes on as a sub he would need to nip down to the dressing room and wash his hands for 20 seconds with soap and hot water.

Don’t understand why people are blaming international football for these players catching Corona. The virus has a 10-14 day incubation period so Bitton, and Eddy for that matter, would have had the virus prior to leaving for international duty.

The real question to me is why are the Celtic players who have been in close contact with eddy and Bitton not had to isolate? Christie and Tierney having to isolate because they were in close contact with Armstrong makes sense. Why other players who have been playing with Bitton and Eddy aren’t having to, baffles me.

MGC19,I am not an expert, maybe you are, in fact I don't really know what I am talking about, please correct me if anything I now write is wrong, .
The way I understand it you get infected with this virus, it gets into your upper airways and lower airways, your eyes, into your mucous membranes, and then it goes to work on you .
The incubation period, from what I have read is five to seven days, but if you get tested a day or two after you have a load of virus into your nose, because sometimes the virus just gives you an upper respiratory tract C.V. and nothing more, will you test positive?, in any case they, the medical experts, that is, know so little about this virus, that the incubation period in some individuals might even be less than 5 or 7 days, and in that case I would blame these current international matches for international players testing positive.

Karamoko may go out on loan in January. Amiens sounded out Celtic for a season long loan but Celtic didn't feel the team in the French Ligue 2 was the one they wanted him to go to.

No idea Celtic_mad. It would be good but it'll be more down to his parents and advisers. If there's going to be a restructuring at the end of this season, assuming we do cross the 10 line and more of the established players leave to either test themselves or get more money, then there should be an increased chance that youngsters will then be developed. As I've said a couple or so times before, this Development Squad is the most potent I've seen for years.

When it happened to the Aberdeen players,
The players who tested positive had to quarantine for 10 days,
And the rest of the Aberdeen players who were in the pub,
Had to quarantine for 14 days.
