Well done The Birthday Bhoys! Fantastic result and performance to be proud of.
Big Billy McNeill said 'Celtic are a fairy tale club' with unique and unbelievable games, goals and score-lines throughout our celebrated history and so it goes on...
I was nervy watching them dominate possession, BUT our discipline, organisation and guts were out of this world tonight. No diving in, very few free kicks conceded and excellent concentration - covering the flanks and doubling up when required.
Two excellent goals by two excellent players, but
every player made a huge contribution and hopefully the confidence this will instil will see us kick on.
Nl has really matured and developed into a top manager and the list of Celtic staff (Players, Backroom, Scouts) who should be tied up on long term improved deals is growing every week.
Finally a big thumbs up for Jeff Stelling, John Collins, Jamie Redknapp and even Gary Neville who were 'impartially' rooting for The Celtic while giving an honest overview of every incident and highlight.
Take note Walker, Nicholas ans Provan.

Its all you want when you are listening to a post match analysis mate innit. Its not that hard. I always like Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville's analysis.

How much will wanyama go for now? surely added a few million on to his price tag. Forster is quite simply world class and is not far behind hart IMO. young matthews outstanding also. I dont know what wanyama is looking but offer him it, he is worth it and will be best def mid in the world for the next decade
Maybe lennys price gag wont be laughed at as much now...£20+

Believable23 Unbelievable4

Haha seriously ? ruban kazan beat barca a few year back when they were better at the nou camp didnt see there goalscorer the nite become 20 mill haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye mate Karadeniz Gokdeniz. He was 29 at the time and 3 years before that he got a 10 match ban for his involvement in a match fixing scandal.

Aye cos you would pay 20 million for that wouldnt you. Clown

Oh and you will like this one...he once controversially said on record "im moving to Kazan because i only feel confortable living around people of the same religion...Muslim" So a tinge of bigotry and a cheat.

He sounds like one of your own pal

After that game last night I think it could end up an auction for big Vic like you said Bond. Club's all over Europe will be taking an interest in him now if they werent already. Start the bidding at £15m

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as i know there was a Man united Scout up looking at Wanyama last night. Its probably the only negative from last night is that because he played so well he will be gone in January but i think high £ teens will get him say £18 or £19 Million.

I remember the night we went through to the EC final by beating Leeds in the semis. I was a wee boy at the time but this is right up there. Come on the Bhoys!!! Victor must be worth that 25m now. Big congrats to the whole team. Sopot Celt.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I was 14 and jumped the turnstile and yes tonight brought it back. Wonderful. Every player was brilliant just like that night. but I have to say barca are better than leeds brilliant though leeds were.

Celtic sussed them. You have to fight for every ball like they do and defend in what would be suicidal positions normally. They rarely shoot from outside the box. It really is like playing no other team. There is no other way but the way celtic did it, nerve wracking as it is. Tonight they had their usual possession but didnt have the ball as long during each phase of possession. Then they were pounced on at 18 yards. These 2 matches have been an education. And dont we have a good management team.

To anyone going to the game tonight:

I put a post up a few weeks back about the GB doing a massive tiffo (banner) well tonight is the night.when you get to your seat there will be something the size of a a4 bit of paper.as the teams walk out the tunnel please raise this above your head the GB will go first and everyone else just follow.its going to be a bit like when we played hamburg a few years back in Germany but its to do with our 125 years.the whole home end (I believe) will have these on your seats.if your on the top tier them please dont hang any flags over as this will block the view of the cards.

Wee email I got from the GB.anyone going to the game if you could do that then I'm sure it will be the talk of the town tomorrow.

Crap weather for a game of football but will still be amazing as usual

Come on you bhoys in green !

The Sun is reporting that Hooper is defo out tonight! Can anyone confirm if thats true or is it just a lot of nonsense from them as per?

Believable7 Unbelievable0

It's saying on sly he is unlikely to be fit for the game. Gutted for him, as its also been stated he was due to be called into the England squad. That's two big games in a week he is going to miss.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets just wait and see. I love it when Neil keeps his cards close to his chest.

True from what I've heard, Miku is likely to start.
