Looks like the major shake up at the club everyone is hoping for this summer has the wheels in motion.
Dom McKay new CEO (done)
Ross Desmond new board member
Fergal Harkin as DOF
Enzo Maresca new head coach, with his own backroom team.
Also hearing that Gavin Strachan will be staying but in a new role with younger players (even with that laptop he is really update to date in the modern way of thinking not like our manager) .

Harkin is at cash rich Man City. They would hardly have some unqualified man in that position unless he merited it.

Harkins has been involved at several leaves at man city most of it to do with players recruitment, loans ect ect. Guy has a masters degree in business. This looks like the next natural step in his career.
The man city youth coach i can't see happening.

I agree kev, think this is definitely the kind of boy for dof and hopefully we get a good coach/ manager to work with the boys he can bring in and they might need time but hopefully now the 10s gone we can give them some.

keane as manager sorry but know way the guy is an absolute dick and in my opinion couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery if he gets head coach job then i will support my local team east kilbride.

I posted a few weeks ago that Ferghal Harkin was being considered for a role to help out Desmond the younger take over his father's mantle, and that Roy Keane was their choice for DoF. Some reports doing the rounds that a decision has been made and, Harkin will be DoF and Keane the Gaffer.

Roy Keane on the coaching staff - yes! As manager, he's a non starter for me - far too volatile. He makes NL look laid back.
Fergal Harkin, who's currently at Man City, is being rumoured as our D. O. F for next season.

I posted a week or 2 also that I had a feeling that Keane would be named Manager, it looks like we are going down the DOF and head coach route.
I would be more than happy with Keane as HC but I'm guessing that if he does come in he will have a big say on his backroom staff as I understand he turned down the chance as manager before due to Lawwell insisting that Ronnie was his Assistant manager.

Although Keane would not be my choice, if he was here instead of lennon I doubt we would be trailing 21 points in league.

A report claiming the reason Davies hadn't signed the deal with us was because we inserted a clause in the deal that he had to be injury free, also a report claiming fegal harkin is our preferred choice for DOF.

Reports are suggesting Celtic are eyeing up Irishman Fergal Harkin to become our Director Of Football.
Harkin is currently the Partnership Manager at Man City.
It’s positive news that Celtic are finally looking at employing a DOF at our club.

Don't know anything about him Buzz but Man City is a big club. The pieces appear to be falling into place, if it is Fergal for D. O. F. then the last piece of the jigsaw is who will we bring in as Manager?
