Even before he was announced I had a sneaking feeling we will be down to 10 men on Sunday . I think the whole fa want them to go to within 3 points of us without our game in hand so they can carry on with their belief that we are on the decline and they are a massive force again. Really want us to smash them just to shut them up.

Surprised at the two doubters (so far 😉) . I'd have him in the first 11 to put the boot in and rough them up. From what I've watched he is a bit reckless. No problem with him booting them up and down the park then get subbed before ending up in the book for the 2nd time.

Anytime I have seen him he hasn't looked anymore reckless than any other midfielder to be honest.
The type of game he plays he always goinv to be indanger of a booking but so is Brown and id have no trouble playing both of them.

Sinclair getting the start would surprise people after taking him off at half time? Edouard just might get the nod for me plus I think back four may come back. Could be a close game we need to step up a notch or two make a statement.

In Sinclair's favour is he does graft the line well with KT. A three would worry me ED, although KT is adept at this. Big Tom? Love him but i worry he will get space. They seem to play in triangles, very coaching manual, relying on a third man run. lot of graft and staying switched on for the big man.

{Ed007's Note - The 3-4-2-1 seems to be Rodgers formation of choice just now and I'd be surprised to see him changing it just now especially with Lustig out. The team I'd go for would be more like this in a 3-5-1-1, I'm just not sure if I'd start with McGregor or Edouard playing behind Dembele:

Ed do they both play in the same age group for France? Just wondering if the play well together cos they know each other so well. A know dembele started out at psg, maybe they know each other from then.

{Ed007's Note - Dembele was only there for one more year when Edouard joined PSG and there's 2 years between them so I doubt they would know each other from there and they miss each other at international level where Edouard has so far only been capped at Under-19s level level last year and Dembele moved up a year 2 years ago.
Maybe it's just a couple of French kids that have bonded over their mutual love of Asterix the Gaul, garlic and hairy women.}
