If my memory serves me well, didn't wee lenny say if we won the league he would tell us what fally sally said to him on "that night"?
frankiebhoy

Believable25 Unbelievable3

I don't think NL will ever reveal what The Anticoist really said......DH

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh I think he just might.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now let's be honest. Now is not the time to release that. He still has a (hopefully) long successful career with Celtic ahead of him. Come the time he will write the obligatory book and that will be one of the big selling points.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon should tell everyone what fat man said, he is on t.v. spouting s**t, trying to stir up trouble with a thinly veiled attack on Celtic fans for kicking them when their down, well they put themselves down so stop snivveling about it and pay the bills. jelly and ice cream anyone?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have it on good authority that during the game lenny was screaming at some of the rangers players(Diouf in particular). At the end of the game Sally told him to cut it out to which Lenny replied with something along the lines of "I'll stop shouting at your players if you stop signing c**ts like f**king Diouf!" I'm not sure if this was all that was said but it comes from someone working in the SFL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Laughing away here , good answer lenny , Keir

Ed what's the story with Mark Wilson I've not heard about him since his proposed loan move to Leeds ......DH {Ed007's Note - He seems to be stuck in a bit of limbo, his contract is up in the summer.}

Just listened to first half hour of Sportsound, they had both Doncaster
and Wattie on, Chico trying everything to get Doncaster to say any newco will stay in SPL, he almost did, then corrected himself by saying SPL committee will vote on it. Then Wattie comes on guess what no searching questions, no questions about EBT's just his thoughts on "marvellous" gestures by players offering to take pay cuts.

Then caught Ian King on real radio, who said that him and other journalists had spoken to Murray "off the record" aren't our journalists great, (NOT) One of my mates said also that no scottish journalist has even attempted to ask the Laudrups, Gascoines, Goughs Butchers etc... if they were aware of receiving EBT's or other tax incentives. No it is too hard for our journalists to track these ex players down......

Cast your minds back now to the bust up with Jorge Cadette, a BBC team went to Portugal to speak to him I am sure a team tracked down Viduka when he walked out, easy then and money no object on these "jollies" but ex Rangers players? far too difficult to find them.....
Timalloy (expecting miracles...)

Believable26 Unbelievable3

Good point Timalloy.

But they don't even need to track these players down and spend any money in doing so.

They should have asked Fat Sally.

And Smith should also be asked if he was paid by way of EBT and what knowledge did he have of players being paid in this way.

Martin Bain was certainly paid by way of EBT and there are also other directors suspected of the same.

Financil Doping on an Industrial Scale.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get real dream yous are trying everything to get our titles

Agree0 Disagree0

OUR titles haha guess what those titles are now TAINTED. Also find it strange now how refereeing decisions now going against Rangers... Mmm maybe no extra money for backhanders

Hi, does anyone know when we can win the league, depending on other results. Thanks Andy.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

If Rangers* don't beat tannadice we can win the league at Ibrox....assuming Rangers* are still in business

Mikey Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Motherwell are also in the equation mathematically, although they play Rangers before we do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obv they can't beat tanadice lol I meant beat Dundee utd at tanadice my bad

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not true. if motherwell win there next two games we CANNOT win the league at ibrox as motherwell (mathimaticly) could still win the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I completely forgot about Motherwell still being in the equation

Mikey Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Motherwell play rangers on 31st march, after celtic, d day for champions league, lets hope the well can overtake them that day as well !

hi ed im not sure but can wylde not sign for a scottish team on amatuer terms till summer? {Ed007's Note - Why? He is a free agent, he can sign for anyone full time.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

He needs FIFA approval. {Ed007's Note - Why? He is a free agent, he doesn't need approval from anyone, any player without a contract can sign for a club at any time.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The SFA have confirmed he needs FIFA approval. {Ed007's Note - The players are free agents and can sign for anyone. Why would they need FIFA approval, he is no different to Aluko was.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He needs fifa approval because he was released outwith the transfer window,Aluko was a free agent during the transfer window therefore could sign with anyone at any time.

DESSYBHOY {Ed007's Note - Aluko signed for Rangers in November, the transfer window was closed.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - you have to become a free agent before the end of the last transfer window i.e. prior to midnight on January 31st, to be able to sign for a club now.

If you become a free agent after this point, you would normally have to wait until the next transfer window.

Wylde and Celik are likely to be considered special cases and would be entitled to ask FIFA to allow then to sign now. {Ed001's Note - yes, you are correct that is what would normally happen, but in the case of a club releasing them due to administration it is considered an exception, or has been in the past.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Do they not have to be free agents during the previous transfer window to play or they have to wait til it reopens? Remember when Roy Keane got released he couldn't play with us til the jan transfer window opened up

Mikey Bhoy {Ed001's Note - normally, yes, in the past exceptions have been made when the player has been released by the club for redundancy purposes etc.}

Hi ed just a thought if Neil Alexander got the bullet ( I know he prob won't) do u think we would make a cheeky wee move for him;)..... Jiggythetim HH {Ed007's Note - No.}

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Why the hell would we want to make a cheeky we bid for him? the guy is hopeless

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats a cheeky wee bid anyway??

Agree0 Disagree0

Put it this way a woudny want any
of them,stef1967

Agree0 Disagree0

I right,so ur rotten mob wouldn't want McGregor either? {Ed007's Note - Rotten? ROFLMFAO that's a good one mate, take a bow for having some brass neck, no wonder you didn't leave a name.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I and I see how u didn't answer my question!thought this was a Celtic rumor page ?all I see r post on the gers,typical Celtic first time u lot win the league in years and all u can do is talk about us ,try enjoy ur league win instead of being obsessed with us!! Rosco {Ed007's Note - So you are on a CFC page talking about Rangers. Understanding irony obviously isn't a gift you are blessed with.}

Bhoys& Ghirls

As Celik has now left the manky mob, is it feasible that he can now re-sign for his former team and they still get any monies due as creditors ??
if this was a film script you would not believe it. (note to ED) am I right in this thought.

Cheers Cprs1 {Ed007's Note - His agent is in talks with West Ham. Rangers signed and registered the player so they are still liable for the money owed to GAIS.}

fellow celtic fans just a question , would it be worth while starting up a group looking into naming one off our stands after fergus mccann , after events i think this guy should be applauded by every celtic fan .

Believable26 Unbelievable4

Great idea

Agree0 Disagree0

100% yes

Agree0 Disagree0

A statue out side the park ,defo,

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely. Fans would know it as the Bunnet.

Agree0 Disagree0

IF memory serves me right the "Bunnet" was less a term of endearment directed towards Mr McCann at that time and more like name calling. I doubt he would be pleased with this reference but hey I may be wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

I said couple of weeks ago we should name the Main Stand after Jinky and also Lennoxtown after Tommy Burns.Suppose we could name a department after him,how about The Fergus McCann Accounts Department?

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

That is not a slight. As it has become all to apparent with TFOD your accounts have to be run by competent honest men and Mr McCann is certainly in that category.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think more like Tommy Burns stand would be more fitting - not 'Bunnet'!

Paolo Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the answers guys , will take it on board , the main stand tommy burns and the north stand after fergus or vice versus , thanks for all you support this year and i promose there will be no let up this season

Agree0 Disagree0

It was painful watching Cadette, Viduka, Di Cannio etc. walk away but we Fergus was spot on. Deserves some major acknowledgement which should be long lasting. He prevented us going thought the same mess we see at Ibrokes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fergus McCann Stand
The Tommy Burns Youth Academy
Jimmy Johnston Walk (the entrance road up to Celtic Park, we could do with a couple of other statues along there too)
It would be nice to see something related to the fans too, as we had a massive part in saving our club, when asked.

I also hear that the shame are renaming their training complex to........

David Murray Car Park...... where you pay up front for your parking but receipts will be given.... for future tax avoidance purposes!

Just had a thought (rare as they are) but will the capitulation of Rangers have an undesired effect on us strengthening the team? Lennon was given a bob or two in order to challenge succesfully for the league. With a poor Rangers team (or any other team in all fairness) do we now imagine that the chairman might now decide what we have isenough? Were never gonna challenge for Europe again, i think just making the league stages of the CL with be good enough for our Directors and we could probably just about do that with our current crop. IF we do add to our numbers in the summer (not withstanding the pre-contract fella) i can't seen us spending any real money, perhaps £2mil or £3mil tops.

Thoughts?

TerribleBeauty

Believable11 Unbelievable2

I don't think we would need to strengthen anyway.If we could clear a few of the fringe players and keep what we have left then i think we have the makings of a really good team.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not to mention we will have a hard time attracting and keeping players. seems like many new signings always mention their excitement to play in the old firm games. i think that one of the only positive outcomes will be for homegrown talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, we do have the basis to build from, all seems to be done working within our means. looks like we have this season seen the start of the future policy, pick up talent early as well as develop our own. sell on at the right time and price. its the only way forward. I look at teams like Basel (Swiss outfit) if they can progress under restricted budgets then why cant we.

The Essex Hoops {Ed007's Note - APOEL Nicosia from Cyprus as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see us strengthening mate, the board will probably think we have more than enough to easily win continue our success so will look into reducing the debt we have.

Just imo

Richybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

IMHO we should keep a small amount of debt and if it were possible move into different sports for example basketball or volleyball. Its all about getting our brand out there and a few teams in Europe do this kind of thing. Of course it could not detract from our real business of football.

Agree0 Disagree0

When the 3 families were in charge, we didn't strengthen our team when we were on top.
They bought holiday homes in Spain and houses in Glasgow.
Nothing will change, until the " new " Rangers appear to be catching up from wherever they start from.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2012 14:24:24
read evening times looks as though rangers have no case to answer with regards to seperate contracts for players as ebt schemes do not fall into spl jusistiction ....lucky escape...titles stay intact ....we will get you next time manky mob

Believable5 Unbelievable26

Would take that with a pinch of salt.
They have to sell some papers.
Giving the Rangers supporters a bit of hope maybe

Agree0 Disagree0

The article is speculative and only discusses some possible arguments RFC may wish to offer. As for getting anyone next time I think that's a bit puerile. If they are guilty hammer them if they wriggle out of it legally then that's the way the cookie crumbles. Many a guilty man has escaped the gallows.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't bet on it.....remember this is the same media who said Administration wouldn't happen

Agree0 Disagree0

"Rangers will not enter administration"

"Its a murray group issue"

This is why Rangers are on the brink, the press supporting rangers fundamentalists are deluded ,,,,what is it they say WATP, WASP or something like that...

what happens now with the dude celik that the manky mob have let go? do they still have to pay the swedish mob the cash they owe them {Ed007's Note - I think they will just become another creditor, they still owe them money.}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

A mathematical fact:

If Rangers end up paying up the 275k compensation to his previous club then he's cost them 53k per appearance (5 games) plus his wages and is therefore almost as expensive a signing as Robbie Keane.

Good little bit of business there...bwa. No wonder they're in administration.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2012 13:34:51
{Ed007's Note - Neil Doncaster has confirmed that the S*y deal does NOT depend on four derby matches a season. As I said, any deal like that would have been illegal.}

Believable9 Unbelievable3

He's on Radio 5 live NOW and saying expulsion from SPL is an option !! this just gets better and better .....at last the TV deal myth gets blown for what it is a MYTH perpetuated by the laptop loyal. {Ed007's Note - It would have blatantly broke FIFA/UEFA statutes, I did try to explain, but it was in a red top rag so MUST have been true eh?}

Agree0 Disagree0

It was more of a hope for Rangers fans thinking " haha we're going bust, but you shall soon follow". Just can't make this stuff up. We shall enjoy our "tainted titles" I'm sure there's a song about tainted love haha

Chad

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on Ed mate,must be true because wee Chick etc wanted it to be so...this will roll and roll, and UEFA must just be biding their time here...... oh and Tainted Love was a Soft Cell cong I seem to recall. {Ed007's Note - I only remember Mariyln Manson singing it although I know it was out in the 80s as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Tainted love recorded by Gloria Jones in 1965. later she was driving the car that crashed when marc bolan died {Ed007's Note - Really? Cheers for that.}

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2012 12:04:25
Greg wylde has been axed first by the administrators!! Surely he cant be on that big a wage

Skinnybhoy

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Mervin Celik released as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently £10k a week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong Wylde has waived his wages for March and refused redundacy package.
Trying to lead by example,wont wash with the higher earners though.
Why dont the players who LOVE the club play for nothing and those out injured refuse their wages {Ed007's Note - Because they have bills to pay the same as everyone else. They signed their contracts in good faith and are entitled to ask for their money. If you make £500 a week you get a mortgage, car etc that you can afford, if you get £20k a week you do the same plus players have other investments (properties, pension funds, pubs/clubs etc) so they need to keep up payments on these as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Did he not just sign a new contract at the start of the season? Might have had a wage hike then given EPL clubs were looking at him then

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumours that Goian is next out the door

Agree0 Disagree0

Both asked to go.....Mervan realised his name didn't fit lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take Wylde at Celtic.

TerribleBeauty

Agree0 Disagree0

Well played gregg wylde

Agree0 Disagree0

MacGregor and Alexander are on the list too apparently..

Agree0 Disagree0

Id take Wylde too! Need to sort out the snake eyes first though!

Joeshmo1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Wylde is no fool. He already has Blackpool and Southampton interested in him. {Ed007's Note - Aston Villa, Bolton and Ipswich are also interested, Wolves are keeping a close eye on the situation and are interested in any players that become available.}

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2012 11:54:43
So Duff and Phelps have been TOLD not to cull the playing staff at Rangers as it might hinder the chances of a buyer being found.Is it just me or are the administrators conducting the strangest ever administration event ever? The first duty of any admin team is to the Creditors,can they honestly say they have been doing that? Nearly three weeks in and,other than Russell and Smith's wages,there has been no reduction in outgoings that can be seen.They actually tried to increase the wage bill with the purchase of cousin! How on earth is playing bartering games with the rangers players helping the creditors?How do they intend to reduce debt by running up a bill of around £100,000 per week?I honestly think HMRC are sleeping on this matter.Why is no one questioning the methods used by these guys? How can they think over the rangers players latest offer(an offer to administrators!) overnight when it seems to be against all rules of administration? Now we see the SFA and SFL launching investigations into the two payments allegations which,if proved ,could see rangers stripped of titles and cups won as they played unregistered players.This would also involve the paying back of money won in this period.I thought these administrators were stooges for whyte and can anybody really disagree? lets hope th sporting investigation is handled with a bit more vigour,somehow i doubt it...........green jhedi

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Rangers supporter here in peace, totally agree with you on this one. Had my doubts when Whyte rushed to appoint these administrators, there appears to be a hidden agenda. As for the cups and titles have to agree to disagree with that one. All the best for the remainder of the season your team deserve it, hurts to say but they are playing well cant dispute that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Something stinks

Agree0 Disagree0

Have been raising concerns and doubts about these 'puppets' since the 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil etc' Press conference on Sly. There are many inconsistances compared to other administration cases and as usual the 'Free Press' are reluctant and even negligent in asking pertinant and probing questions.
Something is rotten in the state of Govan.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is very strange....maybe that means the problem goes even deeper and at a higher level then we all think?
