It would appear Lustig had given the gaffer food for thought. I was sure Matthews had made the right back slot his own, but the big man has not put a foot wrong in all the games he has played in so far. Be interesting to see who gets the nod on Wednesday night. If Izzy misses out on Wednesday night I would imagine chuck Mulgrew would slot in at left back, not sure if that's a good thing? On another note I hope Samaras makes it, never thought I'd hear myself say that. Neil Lennon has transformed his career. Apparently Roy Hodgson will be at the game on Wednesday night to watch Hooper. I'm the wee mans biggest fan. I hope he grabs his chance with both hands as it will benefit all involved. Ian L

I have a friend in norway who told me he was so jealous when we signed the great swedish full back lustig, a few months passed and i was like wtf was he spouting this guys clearly guff
but alas the man has been given a chance and now glaswegian, norwegian and anyotherwegian fans are starting to notice
his passing was however annoying against barca

Good news to hear that Billy Stark will take over the Scotland job for
the next game. He to me is a major contender for the job on a permanent basis. He has worked wonders with the u 21 team. Julieghirl

Gordon strachan looks the best bet for the job some of the players must take the blame tho it should be a honour to play for your country maybe the wee man could install some fighting spirit and pride in the squad good luck to whoever gets the job

Hi All,
I know its a long shot but is anyone selling a spare ticket for the Barca game? I have a pal who has just been let down and would appreciate if anyone could help out.
Edd's got my email address.
Thanks

It might be a longer shot but someone tweeted Des Mclane saying he is going to see I, Tommy instead of the Barca game. you might be able to get in contact with that guy

i think in january if hooper goes we should make another centre half our priority and go with tony watt up top, i think he has earned the right to remove this "up and coming" and "future star tag" also we have stokes coming back along with lassad who signed a 2 year deal!
defence is clearly still weak and needs a comanding experienced head in there! i am all for lennon signing young players and learning the celtic way but we need an old school defender who will give it the old if in doubt approch!

Get Olof Melberg signed.

I think ambrose and wilson look decent together and they have only been playin with each other for a couple of months so i dont think we need to look at that position, i would prefer a creative mid like lubo naka or petrov who can score and create...thats what we are lacking! i do agree with the watt part tho, he is clearly ready to play week in week out in spl but europe may be a bit much for him

McPake of Hibs?

I'd rather see a skillful winger, someone to entertain us fans something we have lacked since mcgeady.

Suppose he wouldnt be a bad back up option for the SPL but i would like to think we could attract better as our no.1 striker

He's a decent player but not as a direct replacement for Hooper.

Great wee player but his attitude is meant to stink. No very popular in dressing room. Weve had enough bad eggs over the years.

Would take him but only if stokes went as there both similar in that will score in spl but notin Europe

After his performances this year he will not go for any less than 1.5 mil

Would rather play stokes. IMO(stokes) is defo underated. He almost kept up with hooper on goal difference even though he played far less minutes. I ask this " how come hooper is a hero? , and stokes is is an spl player?" give the guy the same chance and i think he could be a player for us. HH.
