After the way Dundee UTD played today, I hope we don't draw them in the next round.

Don't take anything for granted yet as nothin has been won. Think of the boost that other teams will have got today knowing that Rangers are oot.

A lot of hard work needs to be done and no complacency.

I agree. I'd rather avoid Dundee United.

IMO a tie between Dundee United and Hearts as well as a home game against lower league opposition would be our ideal scenario. Would kill off one of Hearts and Dundee United (who're always very tricky opponents, especially away from home) and let us possibly rest a few players and look more closely at fringe players.

I wouldn't be too worried if we were to draw united, I personally think that at the moment we have a better squad with a better strike force than rangers do. So we should be able to handle them especially on our current form. St Mikey

To be honest I'd rather play Dundee Utd in the next round than play them in the final. (Assuming Celtic reach the final). Being in the final, everyone will up their game and I believe it would be a harder game than if we played them in the quarters or semis.

We need to play who ever we get. I think we can beat anyone as long as we don't let complacency set in

I had to laughh when the commentator in todays game said Rangers lose £600 everytime they get a booking. Minus £2400 minus the loss they would have made for the loyal support of 17,000 (Aye right try 7,000)= Even more in debt.
At this rate they should apply for working Tax Credits

Dont gloat too soon the rankers are not dead yet still a long way to go in this debacle I'm sure they will survive after all they are good at decieving everyone.

To the poster above:- exactly, they might well survive. If we don't gloat about this now we might not get as good another opportunity. Even if they do survive, if gloating now upsets them for a while then it won't have been completely in vain.

It was part of the chant at the game yest. One part was we're having a party as rangers die. Then there was jelly & ice cream as rangers die.

Jelly and Weiss was the chant from the rangers last season when they signed them.
