With Rogic being rested that's exactly as I would have called it.

Hi Ed, Read a rumour about Celtic looking into buying Oxford United as a ticket of getting into the English league is there any substance to this rumour?

{Ed007's Note - Sorry but I've got no idea what you're talking about mate.}

There was talk of Charles Green doing the same across the city but I'm sure the FA came out and put him in his place.

It was on Etimes or something think it was all hearsay but the article does make some good points and would be worth looking in to but then there will be the debate with them about how we're a new team and I'd rather we went in as Celtic and not the route of another team.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Until UEFA change their rule that a club must play within an FA where they are geographically based it's all nonsense and wishful thinking.}

I have heard some reasons before but can't remember, but Welsh teams in England, Monaco playing in France and Turkish teams in UEFA competitions. They're not exactly consistent as an organisation!

On the UEFA theme, here's a quiz question to test your memory Ed, was there something between Fergus McCann and Monaco over compensation for John Colloins. We were due compensation because they were members of the French FA ( according uefa law) but they got away with it because they are not part of Europe. Can't remember the exact story, but it did smack of double standards.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It didn't smack of double standards, Fergus just chanced his arm. Monaco are governed by the French FA so they move was treated the same as any move to any French club.}
