Peter Lawwell travelled to China to sign off the £20m deal which will see Scottish Premiership games broadcast over there. John Park also made the trip and both Lawwell and Park watched Beijing Guoan winger Zhang Xizhe.

Lawwell and Salmond in China:
The newly-formed Scottish Premiership will enjoy its first day in the sun on Monday.
The First Minister is expected to formally announce a broadcast deal for the league in China, which will see £20m paid out over 10 years to clubs.
What would they do without Peter Lawwell?
Its Lawell being lined up or lining himself up for the next SFA top Job?

No co-incidence that PL gets involved and the money begins to come in, can anyone imagine either Whyte or Green being able to anything like the same as PL?

In January I'd like to see us go after a LB, a DM, a playmaker + 2x FW's. That's exactly the same as my wish list back in June/July! What players would I like to see come in? The only one I'm certain of is Alfie Finnbogason (FW) along with either Stevie May (FW) or Billy McKay (FW). If Alex Buttner (LB) is available from Utd, and his wages are affordable, I'd go after him again as well. Ryan Gauld (AM) from Dundee Utd is a must, too many Scottish players we've missed out on over the years. Only position I'm insure of is DM but unfortunately Biton doesn't look to be the answer and no one else has stepped up to fill Vic's void.
We are in November and a lot of fans are saying much the same about what positions we need to improve, strengthen and replace.

There was a good few be-moaning the criticism of Balde and Pukki and saying they needed time and patience; but I would point to VVD who has settled in the quickest after a baptism of fire in Karagandy and was bought at the same time.
The guy is class and hopefully here for a while. The other two mentioned, really need to step up or ship out.

Out of the signings vvd is the only one doing it so scouts and lennon are to blame.we need a natural goalscorer and puuki isn't it and we all said that when we knew he was signing and balde is a project.we need a goalscorer and a playmaker badly can we deliver this prob not on past signings
We do very little business in the summer so I and never anything of consequence in January. It will be the usual, linked with many then a frantic last 24 hrs with nothing much to show. We desperately need someone to wake the fans from the slumber. The team at the moment is filled with ordinary workman like players. Only real shining light is VVD and perhaps Commons. The rest are good but nothing startling!
I was desperate for us to sign Finnbogason in the summer. Proving already that he scores regularly, consistently and over long periods. A poacher, a predator, the instinctual goalscorer we're missing, can play a bit too. Would also like either Imoh Ezekiel from Standard or Mackay-Steven from Utd for that creative spark in advanced midfield. Too much is left to Commons in that department. Mind you, we're yet to see the best of Boerrigter. I watch dutch footy, I have a relative lives in Amsterdam and I stay with him quite regularly and just as VVD is, and Finnbogasson would be, Boerrigter is a good signing just has had a very unlucky start.
