Biton slows the play down too much which is a nightmare for the way we try to play because once teams have 11 men behind the ball that is when we struggle whereas when we hit teams on the counter they struggle to cope with us.

Maybe we do need to sell both nr and sj. We haven't played in the last couple of years to the standard we wanted. Those two (brown included at times although I value his place in the squad) haven't done it. Plain and simple we have been completely overrun numerous times by teams that should of been able to do it with our resources. It has taken rogic finding fitness and form and Roberts to show up for us to take stock of exactly how bad our midfield has been. If BR can get more out of anyone in the squad great, but for the ones I've watched that can't look up and pass accurately at 10 yards then get them punted.

Think this window its a when and not if he goes. BR wasn't as positive as he has been about other players. This is from a DR interview recently.

"Rodgers hasn’t yet had that conversation with Commons but when asked whether he would have a role to play, Rodgers said: “At the minute, Kris is injured.

“But for him or any other player, they have to be able to play how I want to work.

“They have to be able to run, to press. They have to be aggressive. "

Commons can't run or press and his defensive capabilities aren't the best:) . If he does stay long enough to be assessed, which he might as he has nothing to loose. I don't see him being around long after. It would be better for everyone involved if he left early, freed up wages and got a preseason with his new club.

You might be right with the loan deal aindoh. That was the one thing I thought could stop a permanent move for him this summer. If we can't agree a wage % it depends what he wants to do, pick up big wages or play football. I've got the feeling that unless he is told he will be playing for the reserves he won't go anywhere and just run down his last year.

Have Hibs not enough problems without employing Commons on a player coach contract . Sure Kris was too lazy as a player when he decides his efforts between playing and coaching he give very little to either.

Commons doesn't play for Celtic now, he didn't feature in the run in and hasn't appeared this year, so I won't be affecting his confidence .
