Stoke in for Bellamy as well. Looks like he'll be staying in the EPL {Ed007's Note - He has and will be linked with numerous clubs until he signs for someone}

Believable15 Unbelievable23

Bellamy has already stated he has no interest in joining another Premier League club and Man City would be reluctant to let him join an EPL side Bellamy will be a Celtic player shortly provided a deal can be reached

Agree0 Disagree0

Stoke cannot afford his wages ans Man City will not loan to another epl club

Agree0 Disagree0

Why pay big wages for bellamy we could get three young players for the wages stated young blood needed bellamy had his chance in paradise wont suprise me if we dont buy anyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would expect this speculation on where he is going to drag for weeks. Don't expect any decisions soon. City will be holding out for the best offer. Other clubs who sell a striker will have a vacancy. Cardiff and Celtic are his preferences for now, but watch this space.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he does sign for Celtic, then that would suggest that his heart is in it and it's not just about money.

K.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you know your history there is only one place bellers will go and it wont be stoke

Agree0 Disagree0

Not bothered if he comes or not would prefer to use the money for a decent goalie and a powerful striker of the carew type also when lenny gets back expect a clearout

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy would walk the SPL no problem and I would have him back in a heartbeat. He wins games and has proven himself at the highest level time and again. He has made 22 appearances for wales and scored 23 times. Fair enough he didnt play all his games last season at cardiff but if you watched him play he was miles ahead of everyone on the park. Get him signed Lenny my boy {Ed007's Note - He has played 61 times for Wales and scored 18 goals}

massimo donati....seen at parkead....possible return??????????????

Believable25 Unbelievable68

I did see an article a while back, where he states that he would love to come back

Agree0 Disagree0

The Donati rumours have come from a Facebook page called "Super Gary Hooper".

Last night the admin of the page asked everyons opinion on Donati, which came from a discussion on Evander Sno where they were jokingly claiming Sno was the greatest Celt of all time.

General concensus on Donati is he wasn't very highly regarded by us Tims.

Then conveniently, today, same page posts rumours that Donati is on his way back. Just to give people a good wind up {Ed007's Note - I saw it all over Twitter today as well}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seen him standing outside the MHotel in the city centre at 5.15 myself

Agree0 Disagree0

Donati.............played 3 good games for celtic, the scottish game is far to fast for players like him, hes not suited to the scottish game, decent enough footballing brain though, nice passer of the ball.

Agree0 Disagree0

Donati couldn't get a game due to his inconsistency and lack of effort / hunger. Never in a million years would he replace any of the midfielders we have in place already

Agree0 Disagree0

He has scored 2 goals in 56 games for his newest club (Bari) so from a rangers point of view I hope you do sign him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Should never have sold Donati at the time we did, he was our best player in the early games of the season and was playin centre half no bdy can argue with tht, Weve got a habbit of selling players at the wrong time.a wouldn t bring um bk midfields too strong , Kayal Ledley Brown Ki. Get a keeper, another centre half, another striker pref jay boothroyd ads suhing diff to what weve got , dont know about bellamy, stokes&hooper 40+ goals between thm in first season , scoring goals aint a prob 2 much slack sloopy goals given away last seaason would rather spend the "bellamy wages" it the back , wilson&mathews look good players.Should be lookin at sellin fringe players mcginn mccourt loovens murphy AND wiy dont we loan players like rogne graham carey james keatings and mibi even big Ras to SPL teams nd see wot theve got ind put a clause in there contract they cant play against us , it improves thm and we can see hw thy cope with the kick and rush spl football, sure teams would take thm there talented players but rot sitten oan the bench, dont wait until keatings is 22 thn loan him oot like we did with mcgowan, rogne would benifit so much hes got potiential but playin with the heavy pressure on every Celtic players shoulders take its toll on young players specially wen there foreign, loan him oot to a SPL team and we ll see wot hes got no point and loan him abroad or to england the pace of thr game up here is diff to everywhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was here visiting old friends. He was at greens gym in giffnock the other day.

Agree0 Disagree0

He said he would love a move back to Celtic but he was really at parkhead to visit everyone and have a chat with Peter Lawell over his Bari teamate Huselklepp...

{Ed007's Note - I have touched on this before guys. As is it the close season and for a change why don't you guys get your writing hats on and send in your CFC stories, first games, memories, favourite players, away trips etc etc, basically anything CFC related so you can get as misty eyed as you want to! If you leave an e-mail address in the e-mail field, I will e-mail you and you can send them directly to me as a Word document etc rather than typing it all into the banter/rumour form. Your e-mail address will not be posted or passed onto any 3rd party. We could maybe even open up a fans section on the site to put all your stories together if you want to, much like the news section. Your name or "handle" will be put on any article that is submitted by you. Just an idea I have been thinking about as it will give you all even more input to the site, let me know what you think guys, thanks}

Hi Ed007 my uncles told me lots of stories about Lisbon 67 as I guess did half of Scotland. One story is two celtic fans hitching back through portugal drunk, happy but with no money when a celtic supporters bus pulls up and offers them a lift to Edinburgh, they said "that's no use to us we live in Paisley" Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I had an uncle that left with a weeks wages and a carry out, he got to France and got lost along with 2 guys from Liverpool. He said it was France but it is debatable, all he said was he crossed water, we joked it was probably the Mersey. He ended up staying in Liverpool for about 10 years when he eventually got home.}

Hi ed nothing better than thinking back to the days of the jungle. my 1st ever game was an old firm classic. me a wee boy at the time watching celtic beat rangers i think 2-0 the score wasnt the important thing the other game event were 4 players sent off grant for the hoops hately hurlock and i think walters for them i stood at the front of the jungle ( too wee for they mad men at the back) some guy comes charging down towards me and my mate getting as much phlem as possible in his mouth but i didnt notice hurlock was taking a throw in hurlock noticed all the crowd turning to look at this guy and turned himself the guy makes it to the barrier
after a few dozen stairs and says to hurlock "i wouldnt spit on you if you were on fire" turned around and got a rapturious applause HAPPY DAYS LOL {Ed007's Note - The Jungle could get a bit wild at times, good story}

My first game celtic vs hibs scottish cup semis 1995. andy walker ruined the night by grabbing the ball off john collins for a penalty and basically giving jim leighton the ball right to his hands. to this day every time i hear his voice it makes me angry.

Being from Dublin im not too familiar with Glasgow, but the first game I went to with my dad(which celtic won btw) we were staying in hotel in the city center, so as walked around for awhile with no sign of the hotel we seen two coppers and asked them for directions to our Hotel(dressed in our hoops), so the Police man as nice as pie asked us where we from and very kindly gave us directions to our hotel, little did we know he directed us to an infamous part of the city( *** infested) where my Dad was punched and I was spat on.
Trust me I would do time for that copper.

Bellamy gives lennon a come and get me plea (a think it was the herald that said it)

James1888

Believable36 Unbelievable12

Since Man city have told him to stay away from their club, and also said they want be paying half his wages to go out on loan again, this. Means bellamy could be the next in a long line of damaged goods to join celtic and bleed them dry taking huge wages. This guy is done

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree mate overated, wouldnt want him back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i agree a lot of money waysted with the money we cud pay 3 new players wages

Agree0 Disagree0

He knocked us back for cardiff last year, he is injury prone, not worth it

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously? Over-rated? Did you guys watch him the last time he was up here? It's not an ideal situation with him staying in Cardiff and wanting to come here for a few days training and then games, but he would certainly add something to the team.

Quality player, way above the SPL standard.

Former Celtic target Omer damari has moved to hapoel tel aviv in a 1.3 million pound deal with a five year contract

Believable34 Unbelievable5

Why'd he go for 1.3 million when apparently the deal collapsed with us when we refused to meet the 2 million asking price? {Ed007's Note - It was because the president of his former club Maccabi Petah Tikva leaked details etc of the deal that CFC walked away from it. It seems the player is still not overly impressed with the move though:

:...........................

Why Dublin, got spl game against hibs before Dublin tournament.

Believable10 Unbelievable10

As a season ticket holder at celtic i hope we dont resign him, maybe 2 or 3 years ago yes but now he's got very dodgy knees, cant play week in week out we would be better spending cash on someone younger and fitter and without the excess baggage that bellamy would bring our priority should be a top class keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Regardless of his knees could still do a job for celtic

It said on the stv web site a couple a days ago that celtic might let bellamy stay with his family half the week then come up and train the rest of the week this would be a loan probs (might still be own the stv website)

Believable15 Unbelievable12

The Glasgow Evening Times newspaper has printed this exact story today. Remarkably, this option is under consideration by the club. Bellamy may indeed be coming back to Celtic Park.
