Wiltshire celt Southampton were in European action last season ya maniac! 😂😂😂 And I would hardly call them a backwater club, they've done well the past few years down there! Still confident Armstrong will sign a new deal soon, no need to panick! He's happy where he is with a manager who has taken his game to a new level!

If Armstrong is as happy as some people suggest then please tell us why he hasn't signed a new contract yet? I'm pretty sure he'll have an agent to do his negotiations for him so I don't buy in to the focusing on matches just now talk. allhe has to do is turn up and sign once a deal is in place unless he fancies a crack elsewhere and he isn't going to sign an extension. I think Celtic should set a date to say sign or be sold as we can't afford players to leave for nothing.

I agree Jim If he's happy then sign, but u know it's never as simple as that mate. these things can drag on, and maybe it's the agent that's playing hard ball! The agents obviously seen the season he's just had and thought there's a better deal to be had. but your point about setting a date for him to sign is spot on. if he's no intention of signing before the transfer window shuts then we sell him and move on! He can't be allowed to get to January we're he's free to talk to other clubs and we possibly lose him for buttons!

My point is that between 1984 and last year Southampton qualified for Europe once. They are as much as a backwater club as Sevco and I simply don't like the idea of selling on our players on to diddy teams.

Armstrong has messed around long enough, ungrateful brat, if it hadn't been for the improvement made in him by Brendan Rodgers his agent would be talking to Championship teams or lower . Time to sign or leave the club.
