The club are just becoming a laughing stock now! How anyone can be even remotely content with anything that's went on this season is truly bizarre! The team is weak, there is no aggression, no leaders. Not once since Ronny took charge have I come away saying Celtic looked much fitter than the other team, so that's a fallacy as well. We can't pass the ball, control a game! Aberdeen could have been up 4-0 last night - the lad Church missed from a couple of yards, and Rooney should have had a penalty! We need a new manager, someone with experience and a real pedigree! We need someone that will love the pressure, thrive on it, especially in Europe! That should be Lawwell's final act, then he should leave also! I can't think of anything positive he has done. The scouting has went from pretty good to appalling. He hasn't improved the youth set-up since he walked in the door, Tommy Burns had to beg, borrow and steal to get Lennoxtown, even then he was lied to! The coaches right through the club are like something you get amateur football! When we have needed a manager the best he could come up with is guys like Coyle, Mowbray, Lennon, Henrik, Keane, and Ronny who was supposed to be an assistant! It is truly incredible how some people can wing it for so long!

It's also a sad day, and another indictment of Lawwell that underneath Ronny, John Collins and John Kennedy we don't even have a Tommy Burns figure that could look after the club until a new appointment is made. I don't want Collins taking charge, even in the meantime because he came into the club with Ronny so should leave with him! Kennedy has been at the club, in different roles since he was a kid, and was actually promoted from his role with the development side to help out coaching the first team, so I'd be happy enough for him to move back to his old role, even although I think we need better youth coaches on top of that! Even if John Kennedy took the team for the East Kilbride, and Ross County at home games then went back to the development team! That would give us more than 2 weeks to make an appointment! The only criteria is quality, forget Irish, or Celtic minded or player with a history at the club! We need experience and/ or a real strong character! Someone who can sort the whole club out! It doesn't matter how much it costs! I'd prefer a top manager on a top salary to a couple of average signings in the summer. A good manager, a good youth policy, and good scouting all pay for themselves! It's quite ironic that the brains of Britain and Ireland on our board don't realise this! They're probably trying to pull of a coup at the moment by convincing Billy Davies to snub Kilmarnock for us!
