Rapper, snoop dogg wants to be the celtic mascot for the Juventus game. Please let this happen Mr. Lawell.

Believable19 Unbelievable6

I heard he wants to be our new fitness coach. He has David Guetta's phone number, he's going to make them sweat!

Melb Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree1

Do you really want a crip gangster leading out Celtic on their most important game in recent times. Others more worthy. TTTS {Ed007's Note - There's been worse in the director's boxes of every major football team in the world. Rangers let Craig Whyte unfurl a league flag, To top that we would need to get Hitler giving Saddam a back-to-front high shoulder in the centre circle.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Class Ed. Just keep thinking of Snoop dogg walking out holding broonies hand

Agree0 Disagree0

When you put it like that Ed. Snoop dogg is a regular soldier in the Salvation army. On a more serious note thou. You can see the MSM jumping all over that one if it happened . . TTTS {Ed007's Note - To paraphrase Snoop Dhogg ...MuthaF**k the MSM..... this OG is moving over to Tha Green Carpet Treatment.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Mrs e walking out with snoop sipping on gin & juice! AbS {Ed007's Note - Can you buy incontinence thongs?}

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm all for it. Bit of fun. HH. Joe

Agree1 Disagree0

MSM and the football authorities would not want Snoop and JayZee telling the worlds press about some of the going ons that have happened in this country. The diffrence with us on here complaining or Lennon doing it is there is only a small audience for them but if Snoop and co were complaining of injusticies it would be world news. Much more likely that the fallout would be bigger

Agree0 Disagree0

I`m all for it, let it happen please. Keir

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't mind seeing snoop dogg and hoop dogg standing side by side ha. MrCheshington

First of all well done to the boys today, thought it was a real good performance and a solid display from zaluska.
I know this sometimes happen albeit not all the time but does anyone know if there is a chance in juve fans sending tickets back? Absolutely dying for this game and would honestly do anything.

I thought the much-maligned Zaluska had a very
Solid game today and looked like a quality backup.

Defoe out of England squad, do you think hooper will be called up?

Bowbhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable13

Hopefully and probably deserves a chance. Although is it a friendly? because I can't see him getting picked for an official squad. I've no doubt he'd score goals for England, he's class.
Kevbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge will be called up he's on fire for Liverpool just now. {Ed007's Note - And injured, but I am assured it is not a burns related injury.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge is also a major doubt according to bbc, so not sure about this one as would hate to see him injured in the run up to the juve game especially with it being a friendly and all, But i'm sure he would jump at the chance and sure who could blame him representing his country, good luck either way. Anyone know what was quicker. JR's goal yesterday or the goal we got in the 3 2 game at the Asbestos Bowl in the late nineties/early 00's. memory gettin' a bit fuzzy!

Davie Blantyre Bhoy

Believable0 Unbelievable2

If memory serves me right Sutton scored after 19 seconds! We lost 3-2 I think

Sparky88

Agree0 Disagree0

I knew it was 3-2 buddy, and I knew it was quick. Just wondered. HH YNWA!

Agree0 Disagree0

It was 2002, iboke stadium. Sutton like you said 19seconds, hartson scored other in a 3-2 defeat.

Dominated the game today, well done to wee jamesy for getting a goal. Big shout to Boruc tae been playing brilliant last few weeks in EPL keep it up big man! not a rumour bhoys just a thought, if Southampton offered 6 million and Boruc for Forster would you take it? Widny happen but be good business, the new Southampton Manager really likes Boruc so could see him being there for a while. FifeBhoy1888

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Big Fraz. Will be sold for 20m in the next few years, would. not swap the big man for de gea and my feeling is that he will end up at man utd.

Agree2 Disagree0

20m for a keeper rfom the SPL?

I like Forster and LOVE Celtic but even I think this is complete nonsense.

I'll be the first ( maybe ) to admit I thought Lenny needed his head read with his relentless pursuit of Forster but both have proved me wrong, which I'm delighted about, but still we won't get 20m for him.

JGD

Agree1 Disagree0

If craig gordan can go for 9 mil then forster has to be worth twice that

celticthomas

Agree0 Disagree0

Couple of good games against barca and he's worth 20m? you will get no credit for saves in a piss poor SPL, think there's a few on this site that need there head read, for him to go for £20m would make him one of the most expensive keepers of all time!

I know that he's not exactly part of the Celtic family, but I do think we should send best wishes to P Gascoigne in his hour of need. Tragic!

Davie Blantyre Bhoy

Believable22 Unbelievable19

Fantastic player. Best wishes & just hope its not too late for him. Get well soon Gazza ~ Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree1

I suffer from the same problem and have a lot of sympathy for Gazza, there is a way to arrest the problem a day at a time and he knows that way, I hope he gets back to it soon as I do for all who are in the same place today.

Agree7 Disagree0

Its a tragedy that a player like him has ended up with these problems. Much as I screamed at himwhen he played against us there was no denying his talent. Julieghirl

Agree3 Disagree0

Yes endorse everything said about Gazza. Put up to a bit of nonsense when he played against us, but nothing malicious in it, A great talent sadly cut short but most Celtic supporters will wish him well in his latest battle,, Vinciebhoy

Agree4 Disagree0

Ghuys, can I just say that I am so heartened at your posts. I expected a tirade of abuse but, you know what, us. the Celtic family. we're good people. God bless youz! Even more respect to poster no. 2. . all the VERY best my friend. HH and Keep the Faith xxx.

This is a tragedy faced by many from all walks of life I sincerly hope gazza beats this too many sadly do not good luck paul
thommyj

Agree3 Disagree0

Not about teams but people and PG was a character. Sad to see great talents ending up like this. Too many examples Best being the obvious one. Footballers do it for whoever they play for and PG was a typical one off talent. The only person who can save him is himself but a lot of superstars (not just footballers) can help him. BUT ONLY IF HE WANTS IT. Good luck Gazza

Agree2 Disagree1

Although he played for them, he has brought me many a chuckle over the years. he's a great character and would be missed.

All the best Gazza, hope you pull through.

Re-gascoigne, as a celtic fan I can't and won't have any feelings for the
man who put his wife in hospital and who along with his fellow team mates when murray spent tens of millions trying to humiliate celtic. he may be ill but its all self inflicted. i'm sorry if fellow fans don't agree definately no tears from me. jimbhoy

Agree1 Disagree2

Aree with you m8& the AA can save him& he can save himself, downfall been self destruction over the years. He, s a celebrity& will get sympathy, yet if your next door neighbour was a wife beating alcholic, would you feel sorry??hmmm. .

Have got to agree with the general sentiment that seems to follow this post. I have wondered for a few years now what might have been had Alex Ferguson been successful in signing him. I remember the bad old days of his time at Ibrox and don't believe anyone there tried to help him as he was still turning it on week in week out. Don't believe Fergie would have accepted it and might have kept him on the straight and narrow rather than bowing to his whims. Just a thought.

Not a rumour, just a question. At the moment there are a couple of Juve tickets on ebay, with the current bids at £170 and £195, each.
I'd just like to gauge opinion on whether you guys think this is all fair in the world of supply and demand, or if you think something should be done about it by the club to stop these 'fans' buying extra tickets to rip off their own kind?

I've heard the view that Season ticket holders should be entitled to extra tickets as they have paid for the right etc. but surely this type of practice goes against everything the club used to stand for?
cheers

MB

Believable11 Unbelievable0

Thats not the Celtic way, never rip off your own that's the Celtic way.

Agree1 Disagree0

Tickets not being used should be passed on at face value end of iwouldnt part with mine for anything this type of profiteering is a disgrace if it is fans selling theese tickets then its out of order anything the club can do to stop this should be welcomed simply one ticket per season book the rest for a public sale with preferance to some sort of loyalty scheme is the fairest way imo and would keep the touts and thoose out to make a quick buck at the hand of true fans to a minimum
thommyj

Agree5 Disagree0

Definitely not the Celtic way - I have received my ticket (thankfully) but it is totally out of order to rip off your own. I only wish that folk would buy them and nearer the time these folk would end up giving the tickets away last minute.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well what should happen is ST holders get there tickets then the people who bought the 3 match package get the rest. Saves the glory hunters coming out!

Lenny

Agree1 Disagree0

If you send an email to the club with the details it will give them the chance to void the tickets. its been done before.

Agree1 Disagree0

They should get their asses kicked

Agree1 Disagree0

Its absolutely disgusting!

When you decide to sell tickets to fans who already have tickets and don't need nor will use them what else do you expect to happen

CELTIC'S glamour Champions League tie against Juventus is set to net the Hoops a record £5MILLION.
This month's 60,000 sell-out at Parkhead will become the most lucrative 90 minutes of football ever played in Scotland - as cash from fans, TV and UEFA bonuses floods in.

One game of football will net more than the cost of buying oldco's Assets. Those assets didn't include players, history, titles,. Etc.

Believable13 Unbelievable8

SO F*CK

Not having a go at the poster, but I am sick reading about the amount of money we make, when will we see the money on the park instead of this AVERAGE squad of players we have at the moment and have had since Strachan took over,

what use is money in the bank to a fan, this policy of buying young players and selling at a profit is a great policy but it shouldn’t be our only signing policy, we need flare and experience

Just because we don’t have a challenge for the league doesn’t mean we need to watch an average team,

this squad is so average, I challenge you to name one player we would find it hard to replace?

this transfer window sickened me

Maestro08

Agree0 Disagree1

You need to drop the oldco stuff just seems petty and pathetic! We are celtic supporters not silly wee boys, who cares about oldco our team is more important. so instead of sitting thinking of ways to be better than they lot, forget about them and enjoy being a celtic fan

Agree1 Disagree0

RE 1st reply

What use is the money in the bank to a fan? I find it quite usefull knowing that our club is in no danger of any financial difficulties or bankruptcy like a lot of clubs and big companies at the moment.

Average squad since WGS? 3 times these 'average' squads have got to the last 16 of the CL, a feat not managed by any of the squads before them

1 player we'd struggle to replace? Heres 2 for you Wanyama and Forster.

Mikey Bhoy

Agree1 Disagree0

@2) Never, ever, ever dropping the oldco, zombie, Rangers patter mate. Your dreaming if you think so aswell. They died and are now masquerading as a deceased club, we will never let them forget that. Do you see them suddenly deciding to drop the vile big jock chants? Nah mate, you need to climb back down off your high horse and realise what this rivalry is all about. Its petty but it always has been, and at least our chants are based on fact, not vile lies and assumptions.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well said Mikey Bhoy!

What about Hooper?

We wouldn't get another striker like him for £2.4m.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes the big jock chants and campaign don't get forgotten. may they have many many more days like yesterday. karma they call it.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will see when the accounts are published at the agm whether the money is in the bank or in the investors pockets iv heard a few delusional fans on here saying the club policy is all profit is invested back into the club that is utter rubbish its only been said all profit from merchandise is invested back in at no point has it been said all profit

Anton

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people are never happy, in almost 45 years of supporting Celtic, this is by far the most content I have been. Watching the demise of our arch rivals was something I will never forget. We are at the very top of the pile and hopefully will remain there for the rest of my days at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you tripping m8, how can you buy adead clubs history ffs sounds like 2 many magic mushrooms in you diet

Not getting carried away as the boy has just arrived here but esmael Goncalves has done more in a week than what Miku or lassad have done all season.
Young, quick, strong, 6ft 0 maybe one to keep an eye on
I'm not judging the guy or saying we should just sign him, one worth watching though as that sort of player doesn't show up every day

Believable8 Unbelievable8

I don't know who goncalves guy is but lassad (could be samaras's brother) has been good and more to give and miku has been good as well (he was in the barca game and did great) but people over look how he made sm (I think it was) in cl kick the ball out deep in thier zone the whole game, he has down good maybe people just expect supper stuff from him. He is good and also has more to come if he had more time but also see that he has gone missing in some games but I would like to keep him and see more of him, think if he ever gets more chances he would convince you and the rest that doubt him

Agree0 Disagree1

Goncalves seems to be a master signing. st. mirren have been very impressive. he seems to have lifted the team.
