I will be reasonably happy with Roy Keane. I was the first to say that I thought he was unfair on big Mick during that world cup escapade, I thought he was being selfish. But you have to respect the fact that he is super fussy about everything/a total perfectionist, and I like that quality as well. He will have learned a lot taking a back seat for a few years doing tv stuff etc/also recently working with O'Neil, - for eg Martinez was doing the pundit role before taking over Wigan, it gives you another insight/perspective! People have been saying he will appoint one of his old Manchester United pals/Irish pals to assist him etc, I honestly don't think he has any, and I sort of like that - he seemed to separate himself a little from his team mates. You don't need to be great friends, as long as there is respect. At his last job he brought in Gary Ablett, God rest him, and kept some existing staff I think, so he doesn't do the old pals act/take the easy option. I hope he brings in Stevie Clarke or a foreign coach with real technical ideas on the game, I would love Clarke at Celtic, the secret has always been who you surround yourself with!

I would be happy with Keane hopefully come in and get rid of rubbish like pukki, blade and boerrigter to name but 3 who will never be good enough for the spfl never mind Celtic!

Please, Please, No, we need someone with a proven track record it seems to me Desmond picks the man regardless of the board

Really disappointed if Keane gets the job. Sacked at Sunderland and Ipswich. Slates Sir Alex Ferguson and walked out his country, team mates and supporters. For me this is a huge mistake by Celtic. I would of liked Steve Clarke, Malky Mackay, David Moyes but this sort of appointment is utterly disappointing.

Looks like Keane so we need to back him bhoys HH

Clement's had some good experience as an assistant at some top clubs but never managed at any level.
Might be a good shout though as his previous experience kind of mirrors NL but not sure he could be coaxed away from Real for the thrills and spills of the SPFL!

Also he's now been with Ancelotti since Chelsea and followed him to PSG and then onto Real so he appears to be a permanent fixture in his back room staff now.
Might be hard to convince him to leave that level of security.

Interviewed during week n made it very clear he's settled with family in Madrid n "enjoying the experience". This was in relation to a return to EPL, if not coming back for that then he definitely ain't coming up here

I'd rather take a chance on Zizou, imagine the pulling power you'd have with a rookie Zinedine Zidane? But no doubt he'll be getting nurtured for the Real job when Ancelotti leaves or retires!
