Ed, have you heard of any interest in Pato, with a couple of tweets hinting from him. Could possibly be interested in coming back to Europe, I think Brendan was interested in him while at Liverpool . Could be a Lubo type we all love to see and possibly a replacement for paddy ( skill wise ) . He would definitely get fans excited.

{Ed007's Note - Isn't he going to Panathinaikos?}

25m Tierney bid from Everton.

Think Celtic should set the minimum bid at double that, with a sell on fee of 20%, and then if KT gets a salary offer that he can't refuse, at least Celtic will get a financial compensation, don't think they would be able to buy a comparable replacement for all the tea in China.

Tierney ain’t going anywhere he is here for 10 in a row he want a permanent place in folklore he want songs sung about him achieving 10 in a row. So doesn’t matter how much the mid table teams in England bid he will be here another 3 years! Brendan’s just placating the press desperate for us to me weakened! Let’s see how we strengthen and blow them out the water again next year HH ⚽️🍀.

Can I ask a question bigp who's the midtable team putting a bid in as upto now it's Everton who have averaged 7th place which is no where near a mid table team and you go on about how he wants to stay and become a hero again that's a daft comment as this is a job and if a top 10 premiership side comes in for him then that's a massive step up in his career the only competitive games he gets in Scotland are the group stages of the champions league and as well as you do that's as far as you go you have to remember the premiership is the best league in the world where every game is competitive add to that the wages we can pay then again apart from being a Celtic fan explain why he wouldn't move.

Because you are a smaller club than Celtic, and you're not very good, but at least you have good traditions lol.

Ha ha we are not very good I would put money on it right now you wouldn't finish in the top ten in the premiership the Scottish league is a joke and your only a big club in Scotland nobody outside Scotland even cares about you you like a non league English club when playing in Europe we all cheer for the plucky underdog only to feel sorry for you when you get smashed 😂😂😂 enjoy being deluded see ya later.

And one more thing if your players won't leave for smaller clubs explain Van Djke and wanyama both moved to that massive club Southampton 😂😂😂😂😂.

If Celtic were in the premiership we would be challenging for the title within 3 years. You can only dream of our level of support world wide. You're not now or have ever been even the biggest club in your own city. When was the last time you went on holiday ANYWHERE outside of Liverpool and saw an Everton top lmao.

Of course Tierney isn't going anywhere until ten in a row at least is in the bag .
There never was such a difference between Celtic and Rangers . Celtic knocking back interest in £25m + players we have on our books and Rangers2012 training their top £1m players in wheelie bins . This happens when you hire a youth coach who is clearly out of his depth.

Well said Mmi2009.

Everton are third biggest club in the city of Liverpool behind Liverpool and Man Utd obviously.

We would beat everton home and away, and if we were in the epl with all that tv money we would be challenging for the title after about two seasons, the team we have just now would probably finish in the top six, incidently is that the same great epl that the champions man city couldn't beat us in two attempts?

I don't particularly like VAR, but if it comes to Scotland, I can see us winning an awful lot of matches by a cricket score.

Surely that would be dependent on who the people controlling that particular version of V. A. R. would be? Presumably the same people who have been responsible for the rubbish decisions up to now . . .

Does the fact that no one on here is talking about the Tierney going to Everton rumour mean that it's definitely happening, or that it's complete pish?

I think it's to do with the fact that he's been linked to half the sides in the EPL now. Not to mention that he is honoured to play for his club, and more than happy to do so for the immediate future.

@OrkneyBhoy:
If I thought for a second that Everton had a shot at buying KT, then you have to think that Other ( bigger teams like Man U etc) would be looking to buy him as well.
So let's say they start the bidding at say £25 -30m. we say no, they up it and then in come teams with serious money.

Lets not forget 1 thing, If KT says NO, then there is no deal.
However if the board force the move through for the £££, then they will be the ones to answer to the fans.

KT could well be the next Paul Mcstay, in that all he ever wants to do is play for Celtic.

Just my thoughts on it.

Let's all hope that Tierney has the final say on his future. His choice will be in the best interest of the club. Personally I think he'll stay for the 10 then move on to a bigger club than Everton. Would be amazing if he decided to spend his career at Celtic.

Fingers crossed OB. It would be a shame to see a good player pushed.

The last player, I remember getting pushed out of Celtic was Efe Ambrose and he was pushed out by fans in the stands and posters on forums, both groups abused him until he lost his confidence and thus could no longer play at his best.

He wasnt pushed out by any fans, Rodgers got rid of him because he was poor.

Ambrose was a top class defender when he came here, he was a regular on the Nigerian team that won the African Cup. Like most defenders he made the odd mistake but people like James wrote so much abuse about him and he also got it from a small percentage of our fans in the stands . After a season or so these idiots reckoned Ambrose was lacking in confidence ( I wonder why ) . Of course B R didn't see Ambrose anywhere near his best, as some so called fans had destroyed Ambrose before Brendan came and he was right to let him move on . Ambrose was one of the best centre halves in Scotland last season, after getting away from our fans.
