Under the impression the Craig Gordon deal is off. Don't think he travelled to Austria with the squad unless anyone can confirm otherwise.

Commons has travelled. Has he signed new deal?

Already making good decisions. Why this man was brought in we will never know. I don't know anyone who didn't raise eyebrows at that deal.

A website are saying we have sancido silva a 20 year old forward who is out of contract on trial with a veiw to sign permanently. It also states he was offered a new contract at benfica as well as having offers from olympiacos and besiktas but his preferred destination is the uk. Ed or any one else know anything about the boy as a player or the move?

Sancidino Silva, 20 yr old Guinea-Bissauan who also holds Portuguese citizenship. Plays RW, but also plays on the left or up front.

Only played a handful of games for Benfica's reserves in the Segunda Division but apparently they offered him a new contract which he turned down?

Also, seems to have attracted interest from Olympiakos n Besiktas. I'd imagine his trial will mean he could play over in Austria?

8 games in two seasons, if we bring in players like this what's the point of a youth system / lennoxtown

We don't seem to have any naturally wide players, other than Sammy and Forrest, so Celtic logic is to release the one who's inconsistent and keep the one who's always injured.

On the plus note though, that's two days in a row we've been linked with wingers, Sancidino Silva who's out of contract with Benfica and Alefe Santos who's out of contract at Bristol Rovers.
