If all of these rumours materialise it will be what we have wanted for goodness knows how long. Players bought and bedded in before we play any serious competition. If it is the case that we get all our targets and they are all successful it could be an exciting season ahead. 👍

@lawman I agree it's good to see them trying to get guys in early doors but it's just a reality that you have to spread your business over the whole window due to players leaving, qualification results etc. The defence needed addressing immediately but our attacking options mean that we can take our time on that. Plus, sometimes teams will play hardball over the summer and then start flapping in the final days.

Cheers , I know some people are doubting him already and he hasn't even signed , but hopefully Ronnie can work his magic . He must have some talent if he was at man city who can basically sign anyone they want , I believe he has played in the Belgian national team as well, who are not short of talent. And it is definitely a position we need cover for .

As long as I have been a celtic fan they haven't moved squad numbers about on a whim so it tells someone with half a brain that this is a complete snub to Pukki. I'm sure in your Mind Delia has been on the phone this morning asking him what number he wants for next season after not contacting him once during his loan spell.
Looks to have a bright future at Celtic.

Fab, not sure about doubting, the lad as such, but on paper I don't think he's anywhere near VVD and judging on what's coming out of Man City i'm not sure they rate him as much as Denayer even. I was wanting an intelligent no nonsense CB alongside VVD and i'm not sure we've got that -yet. But RD has a good record of improving players who have fallen through the net so to speak and we may have our hands on a rough diamond. The lad certainly has the physical side. Again though there's just to much of a 'hope' element about it but to be honest I'm just glad we've got another option ahead of Efe and Charlie so here's hoping, again, he shows reason to win a spot in the team for CL qualifiers.
