Aldo De Nigris in advanced talks with Celtic

On sky sports De Nigris has said he is in advanced talks with a team playing in the Europa Cup, in one of the big leagues in Europe cant see it being the SPL, hope it is though.

Good news Would love to see him at Celtic Park.

Looking at the teams it says on sky sports we could be a possibiltity cos i cant see tottenham goin for him

I heard he's going to spain to either ath madrid or bilboa

Fulham are supposidly the team leading the race

It did not say celtic where leading the chace for him it said a premier leauge club where

He is quoted as saying he is in advacne talks with a European team playing Europa League football, BUT he also says hey play in one of THe most important European leagues. It's possible then, but unlikely he is referring to the SPL. Hopefully he just has a high opinion of it or his comments were lost in translation, and he actually meant important team Not looking good though

Hi Ed, Now we've ruled ourselves out of Damari transfer and were chasing Huseklepp, Bellamy or Bothroyd Musona, do you reckon Lennon sees these more Priority than Aldo de Nigris? Would have thought he'd be top target as he scored 43 goals last season. Still no bids for Samaras or Murphy?
Lennons Lions {Ed007's Note - I think it is strange that de Nigris isn't being pursued with more vigour. I think he would be a fantastic signing from what I have seen and been told. There is still nearly 2 months to go in the window which could help us get rid of players deemed surplus to requirements.}

Do you not think Celtic pursue all their major targets quite quietly to not alert any of the major clubs? If Celtic announced every target that wasn't a household name and someone like Man Utd catches on and takes a liking we'd never get anyone.
I personally like the way Celtic are doing their business now so we don't end up like Rangers being publicly knocked back for the likes of Cardiff.

Erm we offered danns and had talks with conway so were kinda the same :L {Ed007's Note - CFC never were interested in Danns, because he was a free transfer the press assumed that both clubs approached him, CFC were never interested in him in him what so ever}

Think the only game being shown on the Aussie tour is against Perth Glory. The other two are not televised and will be audio only. Not sure if there will be highlights after the games but I doubt it
