Patrick thistle must be shaking with fear from that team. I can't see it happening, but a few upgrades are definitely required in the transfer window, preferably not from Dundee United or falkirk.

Is Ryan Christie with us now? And what his the situation with his injury?

How anyone can defend this is beyond comprehension! If Lawwell, Park, Ronny and every player left tomorrow I couldn't care less! Not one player was good today - they ranged from average to appalling. We know it's not practical to sell all the players, so I would sell who we could and I think we need to change the manager! I hate saying it, and like Ronny wants - I never look at things in black or white, I look at the grey, the purple and everything else! Sitting here now, neither myself or any of the boys I was at the game today thinks this is acceptable! None of us can think of a game at home this year where we were brilliant! I don't trust Lawwell or Bankier - the fans are an afterthought to them, they don't care about our enjoyment, or the money we spend, only making themselves come across well! I think if we hadn't got a goal today there would have been fans outside the front door! The goal is only papering over the cracks though! It was absolute hell watching that today!

Also - not one decision any off them make adds up! They had Cole on trial for over a month, obviously liked something, he must be fit because he's on the bench yet has only played a few minutes, even in all the recent games where we've needed a goal! Scott Allan - weird! We've needed at least one dominating defender for years! We knew Denayer was only on loan, and we bring in 2 babies to replace him and VanDijk! The whole world knows centre halfs get better as they get older. Not letting Stokes go on loan to Bolton, again Bizarre, even if we paid half his wage it's still £6k per week we're saving! We've now got no cover for the holding midfield role with Biton Suspended and Brown out! The whole situation is a complete disgrace!

I have said from the day RD was brought in he was not experinced enough for the role. Bad signings matched too poor tactics have wasted nearly two years of development. All the above points are true. We need an older, wiser and stronger character to stand up to Park and Lawwell. A clear out of the players who are excess to requirements. Bailly, Ambrose, Blackett, Boyata, Stokes and Cole ( why was he signed ) perhaps Mulgrew, Forrest, Lusnig, Izaguirre and at least two of the number 10s we have. We don't need all of Commons, Jonhannsen, Rogic, Armstrong and Allan with Christie and Henderson to come in. There are a lot of very good young players there who need guidence both on and off the field. We want a new keeper to put pressure on Gordon 2 older wiser centre halfs another Wanayma type midfielder and a different type of centre forward. It is a pity that RD was not given the assistant role i think he would have been perfect for that. My letter to santa was for Moyes as manager, Marshall as keeper, Jonathan Mensah and Pontias Jonssen for defence not sure about who for midfield and Hooper or Fletcher for CF. i know this won't please everyone but are my thoughts yours are welcome too.

Anyway it's no big deal - hopefully I didn't offend, it was simply what I felt at the time! The crux of it was my first choice would be Prandelli, then Favre, Bielsa, and Weinzierl. I also said an option would be a top Director Of Football with a head coach, maybe Stevie Clarke, but I would prefer a manager with a real pedigree to give us more of a standing, especially in Europe. I'd prefer to get rid of Lawwell, Park, and any of the other psuedo visionaries we have making the footballing decisions. It also goes without saying I'd prefer to get rid of 90% of the players and give Ronny a fresh go. As things stand though, it isn't good enough - the football is truly appalling! We simply make the same mistakes every week, if anything it's getting worse. Yesterday was as bad a game as I remember us playing at Parkhead maybe for 20 years. It was even worse than 2 weeks ago! Every fan around me yesterday, everyone I was with, and everyone in the boozer afterwards thinks we need a change. Ideally from top to bottom, but we need to start somewhere. A manager with a real big personality, and perception and/ or pedigree would be a good start. If we need to give him a top salary pay it. The manager always has been and always will be the most important person at a football club! Oh and Happy New Year folks!

Delphic agree with what your saying but steve Clarke? I wouldn't say he is the big name we want as he has now proven since stepping up to being a manage the has been pretty poor. Although I can't say I can think of anyone instead.

I know Marty, it was just a name - I think, like Brendan Rodgers he has great ideas, puts on great training sessions but maybe isn't great with everything that goes with it! I'm only going on things I've read on both of them! Things that guys like Zola and Gerrard have said. It was also something I thought was possibly more likely than them actually having the kahunas, character to appoint a big name! It is beyond me why guys like Lawwell/ Bankier/ Desmond don't comprehend the importance of a top manager! Over the last 10 years it's been Coyle, Curbishley, McCarthey, Keane, obviously Lennon and Mowbray we've been linked with/ appointed. It's baffling. If we had up pay a manager even 4 times more than Scott Brown earns then I'd be delighted if it was the right guy because he can structure the club for decades, and potentially make the club hundreds of millions! With European football and the academy/ scouting the money we could make could far outweigh the money we are losing in the Scottish league. I'm not a huge Moyes fan, purely bacause of the football he plays but he left Everton in an incredible condition. As I've said before - Coleman/ Jagielka/ Stones/ Baines/ Barkley cost around £12 million between them! People seem to think Ronny is the only person alive who can build clubs, it's bizarre!

Good point about moyes to be fair that I hadn't thought of, his reputation went downhill after Man U and you can see the wonders LVG has done taking over! I think that lawell/ banker, etc see RD as a long term manager to help build the club up from youth through to first team meaning that players costing nothing can be sold on for a big profit. If there was ever a time for the first team to be weaker and start to bring through youth and go down that route then it's now. Difference being that we have had a decent run in Europe over the past ten years which has possibly spoilt us in Europe? Before MON we were always poor in Europe, he got us up to a high standing but had a lot of money to spend, WGS helped continue this but then started to go downhill from NL. We aren't going to get money MON had so long term plan needed to change. Just my thoughts but I feel that's why the board are happy to keep ronnie.

I'm simply looking at the big picture Marty - something Ronny doesn't think the fans do, as I keep saying, some fans don't seem to realise that's it's a big world out there, and that most other clubs are improving, bringing through world class kids and also scouting world class players! The more I think about it I really don't see anything Deila has done that a John Highes wouldn't of done! Talking about Moyes, he also left behind Miralles, Naismith, Fellaini and a few others that he brought to the club - that lot are worth more than £100 million between them!
