Celtic to move for baba diawara
Lets just hope Celtic stump up the cash. Players with a slightly significant value have been turned down recently. In the past two years we've been 'outpriced' for the likes of Giroud and Van Wolfswinkel, both are now being targeted by top four premier league teams. I doubt they will sign this lad.
About time we paid a fair price for a fair player
Having never seen either play, what would kind of player would we expect should we sign Diawara or Rhodes?
Are they the big, strong ball winning target man we could do with? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Bad news. We need a BIG BIG target man. Baba Diawara will fail. Heard it here first. I seen it in my Celtic Ball.

I've never seen Baba play, but his wiki page says he's 6 1', surely that makes him a bit of a target. Also he's been banging them in, I think we should go for him

I just watched his youtube video, and he scored about 50% of his goals with his head. I think hes what we're looking for.

Think this boy or hopefully soon to be bhoy could really do a job for us, although he is only 6 ft 1 he looks really strong and good in the air and think he could add a new dimension to our play
Plus I would love to see liam ridgewell come to the club, was linked with is in the summer and hope we go in for him

Celtic looking to sign rhodes and smithies ?
Lenny was at the Valley last night to watch Rhodes v. Huddersfield. Was there myself and don't be surprised if he made a move for some of the young Charlton players. One in particular will have a decent future- Chris Solly!

Why would he not? He would win silver he would get to play infront off 60000 supporters he would get to play in europe What's wrong with that?
Whens the last time you had 60000, plus every second week at ICT, Dunfermline etc hardly likely to get 60K there pal, as for europe you can forget that one for the foreseeable future, silverware yeah right thats the only thing your gauranteed as the league is that poor, how many teams in Spl have silverware apart from Rangers and Celtic very few
What makes me laugh is that although there is undoubted quality in the epl people seem to forget that the league has been dominated by the same team now for going on 20 years.

Are we not in Europe right now PAL? am pretty sure Celtic is still a step up for Rhodes. As for talking about the scottish teams wining silver you might be right but how many teams in England have won silver in last 20 years not many a bet either! Also epl is not that good it just has the money

The comments about not coming to the SPL are laughable. Most of Englands leagues dream of getting to the Premiership - and when they do get there they fight relegation :L hardly very good is it. Only team worth goin to in EPL disregarding money is man city, man u or chelsea. No1 else will win the league in the foreseeable future. What was it Middlesborough done? Got to the Uefa Cup Final and got relegated :L birmingham last year win a cup but get relegated :L yeah englands leagues are more entertaining ^o)
