Brilliant that's all we need.

David Turnball is a class playmaker and might cost us a bit to get him.

30 May 2019 11:39:39
I like the look of turnbull would be worth a punt.

30 May 2019 12:08:53
Turnbull is just what we need - so I hope it's not BS - his style reminds me of Phil O'Donnell RIP.

Hopefully it's true. Both have had good seasons. Turnbull could be a serious player and definitely worth it. Also like O'Donnell who has been rock would for kille and had good games against us. Nice that he came through the youth system here too.

Turnbull I'd be happy with but would hope for better than O'Donnell.

Turnbull will finally be the replacement for Armstrong we never got. Goals through the middle. We sold Armstrong and replaced him with Mulumbu (free) only to loan him out. Ridiculous transfer strategy.

I hear motherwell want 4 million, think that would be enough for lawell to body swerve any deal.

Hearing lustigs moved out his house. Maybe we will sign a right back after all.

If that's true he has been a great servant to our great club and I wish him and all his family all the best in the future.

29 May 2019 21:52:26
A great servant but unfortunately his time is up with us, Father Time has caught up with him a bit. I don’t want it to end up like Izzy where his career was slowing down and you start remembering more of his worse performances than his good ones.

29 May 2019 21:58:09
We should be signing a RB regardless. He'd be decent back up.

O’Donnell of Kilmarnock deal supposed to be done.

{Ed007's Note - Toljan will be offered back to Celtic but it doen't look like we're too keen. Dortmund want to sell but they think he may be tough to get much of a fee for.}

29 May 2019 22:56:49
I think Lustig deserves a big thanks and I agree with most here in saying I don't think he would justify the wage next season.

Toljan didn't do it for me. With s good pre-season maybe there is a player there but I wouldn't splurge half the budget on him. There must be better out there who want to come to Celtic.

O'Donnell would be a good back up by the way, but can't see him starring in the Champions League.

I’d love to hear the negotiation between them and Pedro for Toljan 😂😂😂😂.

Toljan was awful. Don't recall a game where he impressed.

Lustig was a bit teary at the final whistle in Saturday so there could be something in this rumour.

Toljan has been surprisingly poor. Was expecting much better from a guy on Dortmund’s books. We were all moaning as well that we only signed him on loan - lucky escape.

O’Donnell is a decent defender and bombs forward well - bit of an uninspiring signing though.

Would hope someone else would be bought to compete with him. Gumny has been mentioned. Castagne defintely won’t be happening - he’s been in great form since we were linked with him in January and Atalanta going to be in the CL next season.

Unfortunately I don’t think Ralston is ever going to cut it.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 May 2019 10:21:06
Ralston didn't look to clever recently but has been injured for a while so maybe give one more year but dynamic full backs is the modern way pity atalanta qualified for champ' league because he looked a player, so if we where prepared to spend on him surely there must be another full back of similar talent for that sort of dough, O'Donnell looks a decent player but not on the level of the boy castagne but squad player definetly and maybe loan Ralston out for 1/ 2 season and see what happens, also think goalkeeper position needs looked at hopefully Gordon out the door and another keeper preferably with a bit more presence than Bain who has done well, also would love to get benkovic back.

Like has been said lustig has been a fantastic servant for the club and it's the right time for him to move on. He has come good the second half of the season but the legs are definitely getting slower. Please God Toljan stays where he is in Germany. Been a big disappointment. Have to say would like to see O'Donnell from killie and hope it's true a fee have been agreed. Had a good season and nothing fancy but very solid defended which is what we need at right back. In any game l saw him against us he had a good game.

30 May 2019 13:00:14
Would take Gumny and wouldn't cost us a fortune neither would O'Donnell. Could loan Ralston or offer him as part exchange.

Agree0 Disagree0

Toljan was fine when he first came in. He had a decent few games in Jan and Feb. Seemed to go off the boil when Rodgers left and then Lenny never picked him so when he did come back in he was off the pace. With a full pre-season he might still be worth a shout, just depends on what Dortmund want for him. if its a ridiculous amount then I expect PL will tell them where to go.

Gary Parker as assistant, Mark McGhee will be part of the staff as well.

Good Celtic men who know the club, the city and what it means to the fans 😍.

Wouldn't let McGhee drive the coach never mind coach the players.

29 May 2019 15:15:22
If that’s the case we will have to tip our hat to you tamtam, I think you said that last month. Unfortunately it just rings out old school methods to me, I thought we were trying to modernise the club. God I hope this appointment doesn’t send us backwards.

Some sites saying that Commons is joining the coaching staff? Can't see it, his wife would love it.

What's the stuff about Common's Wife? Been mentioned a couple of times.

I imagine Lenny will bring Parker back but where does that leave John Kennedy? I imagine Damien Duff will revert back to his original role working with the youth but surely JK deserves a strong place in the first team coaching staff. HH.

Agree2 Disagree0

30 May 2019 12:53:22
McGhee seems a strange one for me. Fair enough Parker back. But surely John Kennedy would be the third part of the team as he is there and Lennon has worked with him since he came back as manager.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - I'd take McGhee over Parker all day everyday - at least McGhee will be sober - as he is a far better coach and tactician than Parker will ever be.}
