Celtic have offered Fenerbahce target, Efe Ambrose, the chance to leave the club in a swap deal with Dirk Kuyt.

Believable10 Unbelievable26

Not too sure why we would want Dirk Kuyt. He's 32, past his best now.

Agree4 Disagree0

Dirk Kuyt would be a great signing but I don't think his wages would be comparable with Efe. If it happens, huge if, would be great for Celtic, how much could Forrest, McGeuch and Watt learn from him.

Agree0 Disagree3

Why woild we swap a player worth 4or 5 million for a guy finishing his career

HAil hail

Marco1888

Agree1 Disagree0

Think your talking a load of Dirk Kuyt . DH

Agree1 Disagree0

Lenny won't sign someone over 30 FACT. I never rated kuyt as a player. Gazdcelt

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a fact he signed dirty dan for experience and I believe we need a experienced player of his caliber again
Gordybhoy44

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Doyle will be 30 in September and Lenny would sign him add always said he would like to add experience to a young side.

Agree0 Disagree0

Really, really cannot see it and his wages would be huge!

In saying that, end of career or not, he would run riot in the SPL. A player I always liked, he just got on with being a footballer ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Marco1888 I take it you had a few too many shandies before indicating Ambrose was worth between 4 and 5 million?
I'm not one of his bigget critics, I think he's done ok over the piece with several nightmare moments thrown in but come on mate tell me you were kidding on? At least drunk?

Gary

Agree0 Disagree1

Yeah I completely agree with Mrs e, but just don't see this happening. I wouldn't be against the idea though the guy has always been class

Agree and Disagee with all the posts.Ambrose 4mill lol.KUYT MAYBE 30 BUT A FANS FAV. ANYWHERE he's BEEN. BUT NO CHANCE OF GETTING HIM. al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin doyle, run a riot in spl? he couldn't run a riot in his ain HOOOSSSEEEE FFS . WE ARE CELTIC HIM AND MCFADDEN CAN RUN UP MA HUMP NOT GOOD ENOUGH.GET A GRIP.BHOYS AND GHIRLS.al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

@Gary no I don't drink buddy but it has been reported on a few sites that Liverpool were supposedly going to bid 4 million for him that's where I got the valuation. Is that OK.

Hail hail

Agree0 Disagree0

Al Geri sorry, I mean Dirk Kuyt in my post not Kevin Doyle ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Marco, sorry if it sounded like I was having a go, it wasn't meant like that at all mate, so I apologise if I offended you but the truth of the matter is he is woth probably 1 million tops and if we could swap him for Kuyt then why the heck not. If Ambrose makes his usual bombscare mistakes next season then we'll be chasing him out the door like Loovens and big Dan

Gary

Agree0 Disagree0

Ambrose isn't a centre half, I think that's the problem. Think he could replace Wanyama if/when it comes down to it.

Hi ed. Have Celtic made a bid for a Burkina Faso winger from rennes? Can't remember his name sorry.

MikeyBhoy88 {Ed007's Note - The player is Jonathan Pitroipa, a 27 y.o. winger/forward. The answer is no, CFC haven't made bid for him.}

Nathan Delfouneso and barry bannan ar allowed leave aston villa, surely they ar worth a punt seen as they ar still young. What does everyone think. Gazdcelt

Believable20 Unbelievable11

NO THANKS oor development squad is young, give them a shot.GEORGE, ATAJIC, FRASER, and the rest.al geri.

Agree3 Disagree0

Would be good signings

Agree1 Disagree1

Bannons addons would put anybody off. As well as his salary and transfer fee we would have to give him a chauffeur to drive him to and from training and matches due to his drunk driving issues. If he comes he will keep stokes company in the boosers.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take banan in a heart beat he has it all for me heart skill technically gifted never scared to have a shot on goal love watching him for Scotland

Agree1 Disagree1

Not sure about Delfouneso but I think Bannan is a good midfielder and he would jump at the chance to wear the hoops.

Agree3 Disagree1

The boy brannen is well with a punt. Has that creative spark we have being looking for IMO x
Bibzy

Agree1 Disagree1

I don't think we need either but wouldn't say no to bannan he is a good player I think could do a job for us, but who would we drop for him?

Agree0 Disagree1

Expect Bannan to go to Crystal Palace, Holloway is a big admirer and had him when he was at Blackpool.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hiya. Long time lurker, first time poster. I've always liked Bannan as a player but I've heard a few rumours about his attitude and party lifestyle (similar to Riordan's apparently). I think that's why Villa are getting shot of him. - SmartNinja

Cardiff have apparently increased their offer for Wanyama.

Believable11 Unbelievable9

NL deserves credit coaching VW in the art of keeping his passing simple and retaining possession. He can play very well as a centre half. He can score goals occasional wonder strikes. I don't know what your thoughts are though on some flaws that a 12 mil player has which still need work. Importantly for a CM he cannot split defences with a pass and his long range passing isn't accurate and first touch can be heavy at times. All things I've noticed that he gets away with due to his strength and athleticism. IMO this is why he's not going to EPL big 6. They will wait to see if he can develop further week in week out against quality EPL players.

I see that there is talk of Cardiff bidding for big Vic.
Cardiff's record signing is only about £6m so it would take a big shift in their usual bids to double that.
If he goes I hope Arsenal sign him as he deserves a top class side (unless he stays with Celtic) to go to.
As for his agent, Vic a wee word of advice pal, I think your agent is more concerned about getting HIM a big pay deal (ala £1m+ reported) Vic get rid and get an agent who will look after YOU. Timalloy
