typical from us according to anthony joseph we could have got him for pennies in the summer but went for duffy instead who admittedly i thought wpoul have been very good for us now it looks even if we did go in for mckenzie we would be priced out the boy looks a real talent.

4mill dollars apparently but with a sell on surely a good investment.

you would thinkso but going by lennons interview it looks like this window will be a quiet one.

App just over 3.5 million for him. In today’s market that’s not a massive fee, if we aren’t looking ahead that is a massive mistake and more short sightedness from the club.

Just another example of why we need people who can get off their arse and get things done. No one is surprised we seem to have lost out yet again. That sums up exactly the problem. We know they will feck everything up. Whoever looked st both him and Duffy and chose Duffy, needs sacked.

That about sums it up Magicpole; Far too often Lawell and Co arse about in these windows with very short-sighted and tunnel vision.
Their fixation in saving a buck, haggling and dawdling has cost us millions in the long term with dozens of players who have never made the grade and are punted, offloaded and loaned-out.
Quality over Quantity should always be our recruitment motto.

The next two games for Lennon are pivotal in the title race. he can't afford to lose anymore. so maybe the transfers will be held back just incase a new manager is brought in. hopefully not. so stop penny pinching and bring in the talent he needs to keep in the title race. match genks bid.

Can’t see us spending at all in this market unless we sell first. Also is Lennon going to be in charge next season? Who knows, so I’d say there won’t be any new players in unless it’s loan deals.

{Ed007's Note - We might as well furlough Nick Hammond and all our scouts & analysts then eh? Do you also think Real Madrid, Barca, Man Utd, Arsenal, Juventus - the list goes on and on of clubs who might have different managers next season - won't be looking to bring in new players in January?
The window isn't even open and we've already got the preposterous doom and gloom pish being spouted by people that obviously have no clue how the Club is ran.}

Furlough? I’d sack the lot of them. Are you telling me celtic are going to splash cash in this window? Loan deals is all we will get if any.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I wish I could see into the future. So where on the park do we need to "splash cash" in January?}

34 trophies won since 2000 so get the finger out board that’s not good enough eh.

Your not picking up what I’m saying here, I’m saying I don’t think Celtic will spend this window with all the problems going on with C.V. I’m saying I think at best we will maybe get a loan or 2 and if we do spend it will only happen by selling one of the players. Where do we need to splash the cash? New goalkeeper, centre half and wide player. Where do you think.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - That's not what you said though but anyways.... All we need is cover for Forrest on the right, a RB if Elhamed moves on and the players already here to step up. There won't be any GK's or CBs brought in unless one of them leaves. The squad's bloated enough without adding players just because there's a transfer window open.}

How did I not say that in earlier posts? I says I didn’t think we would spend and loan deals at best did i naw?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Absolutely no mention of Covid and insinuating that doubts over Lennon's future will have some bearing on January's transfer activity.
