.......................Forster...........................
Mathews..Lustig..Wilson..Ambrose..Mulgrew..
.......................Wanyama.........................
.........Brown...Kayal...Ledley.......................
.....................................Samaras..............
..........................Hooper..........................

Pretty solid line up with lots of scope to mix things up, i.e Mathews LB with Mulgrew in LM or CB & Ambrose further forward to bolster the midfield, Mathews RM and still have a recognised back 4 or even 5 with Wanyama dropping back etc. To be fair its a bit harsh on Commons but Samaras has to play these games and you need quality players on the bench at this level who could change a game, i.e Commons and Miku.

Same as gunniebhoy apart from I'd put ambrose in ahead of rogne. 2 out of Brown, Ledley and Wanyama sitting in front of the back 4 with the other a bit further forward. Sammi and commons either wing with Hoops nicking the goal up on his own :)

Love to see Mcgeough getting a run, think he could be a star!

I prefer Mikeys 12........:-)

Aye kev a would defo start ambrose ahead ae rogne but a dnt hink lenny will hope am wrong tho

gunniebhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ambrose ahead of Kayal. Kayal looked like a real find but his injuries and bad attitude mean I would sell him as soon as a serious bid came in. His starts for the club are not impressive, given he has been with us for a while now. Sopot Celt

Lmao I just looked at my sky planner to record this for hubby When I checked the info it says "The latest full match coverage from the SPL. Contains some strong language "
Do you think that was from the referee??

Ed,in the summer when i renewed my season ticket for over 500 quid i was as always more than happy to do so probably with the fellow 40,000 fans so if the club are struggling to sell remaining seats why cant they sell them for half price, it should be like any other business if you cant sell a product by a certain date reduce your prices til lyou do sell it.at the end of the day we want to see celtic park full every week as there is no better arena than a packed parkhead,what do you think mate {Ed007's Note - I totally agree. I personally think that selling ST's over the years that didn't include derby matches was a poor decision, a ST is exactly that, it should cover the season.}

Great idea i wouldn't mind at all that i payed full price, i know a few good Celtic fans who just cant afford it but sure they could at say 200 for rest of season, good post....Stevie....ps full payers better get priority for cup finals lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Problem with that is, next year when it comes to renewing season tickets again, people may hold back because thay can pickup cheap weakly tickets instead

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not a ticket share scheme, I got to 8 games over last 2 years because work away and only re newed because of a new job.I still work away but now know all the dates in advance.I give my ticket away to anyone who wants it now but I would far rather share as I'm still paying it of and 225 is far more manageable amount

op i wouldnt take one even at reduced price. because of my shift pattern and moving games for tv coverage , i would miss at least half of the games. i just go when i can. i do agree though the season books should be cheaper. it just makes sense . 40,000 at 500 thats about 20m , 55,000 at 350 thats about 20m . but option two has 15,000 more buying a pie or half time draw etc..and obviously a better atmosphere. shamrock

Im fed up reading the comments from a league cup game on Wednesday night. Celtic played on Tuesday for anyone that didnt notice

Why is anyone rising to this carry-on. The team that played at ibrox last season finished 2nd in the spl even with a 10 point deduction.

This version of them still has the same management, training facilities and are the 2nd most expensive squad in Scottish football. They have lost Naismith (didnt kick a ball since last Nov anyway), Davis, Aluko, Lafferty and McGregor but have replaced them with experienced spl players Wallace, Shiels and Templeton. They are not in the 3rd div thro the normal route of relegation and indeed if the CVA was successful Allys team would be in the spl and aiming to win it.

For newspapers to use rangers as an example of the gulf between SPL and SFL teams is a poor comparison and sensationalism journalism at its worst. Most SFL teams are part time for a start.

Well done Neil Lennon as well on pointing out we had over 115,000 supporters though the gates of Celtic Park in 6 days.

Theres no other team in Scotland got a better support than Celtic, never have, never will

Have read most things Mrs E on this site worries me a woman talking sense...lol .kidding ...col..I am away to wash the dishes now

Agree0 Disagree1

MRS E .. dont get fed up, dont let it bother you, dont rise to it, aint no point, there is not ONE player from the team of which you speak would get anywhere near our team, so calm down , chill out, ignore them, i do........... BG

Well said mate

Who care how many poor souls turn up at Ibrox to watch Sevco , 49,000 paying 15 is not going to fill Chuck's bank account , it represents a 50% reduction in gate revenue from last season , no other club in Scotland are losing as much , so let all the Merchants of Doom spout their scaremongering rhetoric , Sevco cant go on paying SPL wages in Division 3 its not sustainable , they are in more danger than anyone , Celtic are now on a different planet to Sevco on and off the park , i think its a cast iron certainty that Celtic will be drawn to play Sevco at Ibrox in the quarter finals of the League Cup , lets be honest Celtic have nothing to fear , i'll be disapointed if we dont take 5 or 6 off them , and i'm not being arrogant when i say it .

Agree0 Disagree0

What exactly is an spl wage? theres no players playing for rangers right now on more than 10,000 a week, a would imagine most of the new signings are on low wages 1,000 to 5,000, as none of them had a club, there is a few posts on here that say we don't care about rangers, but look elsewhere on your rumours page and you will see there is actual lot that do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not 15 pound a ticket it depends where you sit i paid more then 15 plus how many rangers players playing this season actually played last season

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Mrs E !

I see the squad fly out to Moscow on Sunday morning, going to be busy busy the next few days. Fir park Saturday 3pm, then early start Sunday morning. Hope we as many fit players on that plane as possible. I think Samaras & Ledley will come back into the starting 11 for Tuesday. Ian L

Ian, Spartak have an even busier schedule. On wednesday they played a Russian cup tie near the Ukraine border, then Friday they play an away tie 1000 miles from Moscow, ok they will fly to both games but still some amount of travelling.
I hope Celtic finally break their CL away win duck and come back with all 3 points, hail hail Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree1

The more travelling for them the better. Looking forward to the game on Tuesday night. There will be great battles all over the park but I'm looking forward to seeing Adam Mathews up against Aiden McGeady. I rate the young Welshman very highly. Ian L

Warning to any celtic fans heading over, there fans have a big fascist element an probably wont take to kind to a celtic support with an antifa mentality.

Bored of hearing about player who are tired. you play football a max of 2 times a week. i get up and exert myself beyond the point of tired on roofs on a daily basis (and thats real graft in every weather condition) and thats because i have to do it to live. if ur on 5-20,000k per week u should be working harder than i do for it but i just dont see that on the park and in players attitudes. im sure the guys will be fine. too much mollycoddling these days
i know you want your players at their best but if thats really the case dont play them at the weekend before a champ lge match if it tires them and then hit out with the excuse they were tired. id give the skin off my face to play for celtic, especially in the champ lge and id never once complain i was tired nor would i want my gaffer to say i was tired
maybe thats just me
Anon because u cant say boo on here without someone attacking u. bored of that aswell.
