ed can you tell me why Ibrahim isnt even getting on the bench? {Ed007's Note - I wish I could, it was to build up his physical presence but I thought (and was looking forward} we would have seen him by now.}
Ibrahim has been injured and it was a serious so they r taking time on him I would expect we would see him on pitch some time nov/dec as he needs to get fitness up
It quite simple when he looks at the players young boys like Watt and McGeoch look like better options.

Ed here is a point a lot of people may disagree with but i think Lenny still cant decide on his best eleven and when we have injuries it works out a bit better for us ie the game at Ibrox and the Benfica game the other night. For me The best central midfield pair has to be Brown and Wanyama out wide on the left i feel big Sammy then normallyi would say forrest but after his last few games i would give Mcgeoch a chance. For me that would be our best midfield. Joe Ledley is my favorite player and Commons has been first class which gives me a headache to have no place in what i feel is our best midfield. Would love to know the thoughts of my fellow hoops on this one.

I agree its very difficult to pick celtic's strongest XI at present. there are so many good midfielders and formations you could go for
I said this a while ago and I think when all the injured players return, it will be more difficult. I think he needs to start at the back four and settle on our best option. However, we are competing in all competitions available at present and it is a World Cup qualifying year. Therefore many extra games and probably more injuries along the way, so it's healthy to have so many options, as long as we maintain consistency and a winning run.

I don't think we could leave Ledley out he has been do consistently strong. I think a midfield 3 with Brown, Wantama and Ledley with Sammi wide left, Hooper in the middle and then one other wide right.

Horses for courses! Samaras has his best games in Europe and the so-called bigger domestic games. But at Tynecastle etc when it's a battle you would prefer other players first. Commons at the moment looks our biggest threat. And due to Forrest and McGeouch's age they will have drops in form which allows the manager to use other players. We have a good young squad and should be grateful.

Guys,
Looking to get hold of tickets for the Bracelona home and away games (2 for away, 3for home) but as I'm based and play in Swindon I struggle to get to many games, I can see this being difficult to get hold of?
Anyone help please?

Hey Yatesy, I am in the Barcelona area and am looking for two tickets myself, the only way I can get them is to go to the stadium on the night ( I was advised on this forum) or buy online. I think the cheapest if I can even get them is about 60 Euro. My worry is ensuring I get into the right section and also of course trying to avoid being ripped off! I will post when I find a solution meanwhile if you dont mind let me know how you get on and if I can help I will; but I dont think being in Spain near Barcelona is necessarily all that helpful when purchasing a ticket for the Barca V Celtic game at Camp nou. My boy's 15th b/day on the barca away game,he wants to go for his b/day.not season ticket holders so no chance of getting them from celtic,probably go and try to them there!wf

wf went a few years back and got tickets for the Celtic end up in the heavens by buying outside the ground, like watching a subuettio match from the roof of your house, would advise to buy away tickets closer to earth some of my mates did and the locals were very friendly.....Stevie
Guys, when we were playing Barca in 2007 it was easy enough to buy tickets over there. Spend around 25 euros on buying a Barca top, get a ticket for the home areas, take off your Barca tops and you're away. Don't pay too much heed to their Ultras - they bricked it when the Gers outnumbered them.

Few people I've spoke to have said about contacting Barca a day or so before, as they're fans hand they're tickets back in for resale if they're not going to the game apparantely. Also, if enough Celts purchase tickets in the home end then you're likely to get moved to the 4th tier with the rest.
