Digging the lineup. Good to see Gamboa get the reward for his graft, and to see Johnston step in where we'd ideally have French Ed workin it for the mousse. That ought to give the young lad all the confidence he could ask for.

Surprised to see Johnston, but he must have the managers eye and it leaves plenty of options on the bench for a plan B.

Poor performance again, this time all over the park, other than Johnson, Rodgers not happy, Be a long long season playing like that, quite a few will have to get their fingers out, including Rodgers.

Gamboa isn't good enough, lustig takes a lot of criticisms when we lose but he's by far our best right back. I have no idea what's happened to Jozo who with zero pressure on him consistently puts the back line under pressure with slack passing. Everytime the balls crossed into the box we are in danger massively. There has to be a centre defender brought in ASAP or this seasons going to be a slog. I genuinely think that by being sloppy at the back is causing a knock on effect throughout the team.

When jozo was signed by Ronnie he was a no nonsense defender win tackles clear the ball, under Brendan he was told to start playing it out from the back which in his defence was not his style and is getting found out as his passing is not great and then looks really sloppy and gets caught in position.

Daviebhoy67 with all due respect, if a professional footballer can't pass a ball 10 yards to a team mate then there's serious questions that need to be asked, there is no excuse for jozo. It would be fair enough if we weren't conceding goals left right and centre but we are. He's not the only one who is a problem. The best bet for me is get a old head in like john terry and another one like that Bruma and that would bring on Hendry and Ajer. Get boyata and simunovic out.
