just wondering what the price range for adult season tickets will be next year. Celtic web site shows child and up to 18 year olds but not adults as far as I can see. mark

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Mine is reduced to 329 north stand upper

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers mate I ask because me and my 15 year old thinking of getting them but because of work we only made about 9/10 home games but at these prices the season tickets are an option. mark

My Son will be 15 on Sunday and his ticket is £105 for the Jock Stein Lower (but still undercover) ~ Mrs E

Hope we sign both Russell and Mackay Stevens from Dundee United should offer them about 3 million for the two of them or are we going to mess about and miss like we have done in the past mainly when Fletcher was at Hibs.

Believable30 Unbelievable12

Why bother? the only benefit is keeping money in Scotland. They are SPL standard. CFC need to buy players to take the next step, ie: QF of Champions league, a team from Cyprus done it last year, so no reason why Celtic can't. Then again laurels will be rested on, as always!

Agree2 Disagree1

Two great players but they will only continue to improve if they play most weeks. (part of forrest and watts problem) if we sign them we might send them back to DU on loan.

The thought of MacKay-Stevens, Russell, Watt, and Forrest as a front four is fantastic. That is CL level.

Just seen that £100 wil be knocked off season ticket prices for next season as a thank you 2 the fans for the support this season. Fantastic gesture and surely wil go towards havin the stadium packed again HH

I stated on here in group stages that enough money was going to come in to enable a ST reduction which should attract more sales enabling the less well off to get to Celtic Park. Glad to see my suggestion has been acted upon.
Hopefully bringing in 10,000 more people on seats for SPL games. Which actually brings in more profit than less people on higher prices.

Agree0 Disagree1

Dunno why people r clickin disagree lol its fact not a rumour

GunnieBhoy

Agree0 Disagree2

Don't think they acted on your suggestion mate, delusions of grandeur on your part.

In all seriousness though, you did call it mate, good shout. Its a great gesture at a time when the economy is a mess and other clubs are looking to raise prices rather than lower them.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you did no name poster & will you own up to all the p*ss no name posters type on here all the time? Maybe you have good points & opinions but nobody would know that with no name or tag on your posts mate, if you want credibility & feedback stick a name on your post. HH AbS

Agree0 Disagree1

GunnieBhoy. I think people are disagreeing with you because this is a deal to try and bring the fans back since the attendances have been pretty bad and there is a worry next season will be worse. Its not being done as a thank you for support this season. ISN

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm just writing what a seen ISN mate am not sayin theyr defo doing it as a thank u its just what I read but am not gona complain about ticket prices bein reduced a don't think anyone wil in this day and age with prices and anythin bein done 2 get the attendances up is fine by me 2 many games iv been at this season wer u could hear a pin drop in the stadium it was that empty but that's not fans faut because its not a cheap day out it costs a fair amount 2 go 2 a game these days

I live in Kent and will be buying a season book, I know times are tough but even if bhoys can chip in and buy one so we have a sell out ground every week that would be special HH and let's lift the roof off when we get the trophy!

Well done to Celtic on the season book reductions next season. A fantastic gesture. Prices dropping all the way up from kids to teenagers. let's get right behind this and, if at all possible, get your books bought! It's amazing what a well run and profitable business can yield eh?. green jhedi

Absolutely terrific from Celtic and very sensible in the current climate etc.

What a negative way such a wonderful gesture was reported on STV though cb

Agree1 Disagree1

I wonder what positive spin they will put on the The Rangers increasing their season ticket prices then!
They will be probably commended for it and a gesture seen as an incredible managerial move lol
Will be very interesting how it will be reported!

just a thought, I think the squad will be heavily trimmed next season, with several fringe players leaving, so McCourt, Rogne along with misfits Lassad, Miku and a few others, and some going on loan like Watt, Fraser, however because we have done well in the C/L and the squad needs freshened up, but with quality, does anyone think a smaller first team squad, and a change in the wage structure, so a lift in the top wages, to keep the likes of Hooper, Ledley Wanyama, and maybe bring in one or two players on the fringes of EPL teams, rather than wasting money on loans, it would still keep the overall wage budget in place, but with higher wages and a more trimmed squad, we could certainly add better quality, the board really need to sit down and think this thru, so yehh let 7 or 8 players go, free up wages and bring in 3 or 4 and raise the wage structure for the rest of the team

Believable6 Unbelievable11

Our squad has struggled to adapt from CL games to League games this season and it's mainly due to Lennon not having faith in the squad players to come in and freshen things up, so I think the idea is good in theory for a smaller squad but realistically it might not be so good. We players Celtic look to buy don't come in on massive wages so if we continue our amazing scouting then we could lose 5, 6 or 7 and bring in 5 or 6 on similar wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd keep the young players in the squad, especially Watt. I'd also keep McCourt as our mascott. I think Lassad might have more to offer but I wouldn't be too gutted if he went.

No way we'll buy EPL rejects. I'd rather spread the net and try and find the next Victor.

Agree0 Disagree0

Left back needed for cover, left winger[gms or tonev]physical striker needed and an attacking midfielder.

Agree0 Disagree0

Isnt that what O'niel did. good first 11 couple of decent subs that he used then youth players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Every EPL player - even squad players - are on funny money.

Agree0 Disagree0

The biggest priority is 2 central defenders as there is not a decent one among the squad. Also need to get rid of the dead weight, Rogne, McCourt, Miku, Mulgrew, Ambrose and Wilson.

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly wouldn't sell Paddy he is a game changer regardless what anyone says. Lenny wouldn't have kept him around this long if he didn't see something in him? Name another player within the squad that can change a game from the bench get the fans on their feet Paddys a quality act. Totally agree with Rogne Miku and Gershon even The bhoy Lassad he isn't Celtic quality

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry but Paddy McCourt is about as far from quality as humanly possible. He's nothing but a glorifiedascot now. He offers nothing to the team. Changes games? When was the last time we were struggling and McCourt came on to save the day? Dead weight. Time was up 2 years ago.

I read somewhere that a few Celtic players are to be given a 'holiday' now that the league is won?
Is it only certain players and who?
How would that sit with you if only a few of your colleagues were seen to be rewarded more than you?
I can understand resting some who have played over 50 games and giving youth/fringe players a game or two in the last few games, but I hope we don't lose focus on the Cup final still to win and is it possibly the guys that are leaving that are being excused?
If I've got the wrong end of the stick I apologise.

Believable2 Unbelievable8

What end of the stick is the right end,. ,. kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

4 players going on hols commons is one when they get back 5 more to go if players are definitely leaving in summer then I doubt they would be rested all players will be back 2 and a half weeks before cup final so everyone is fit and ready. The real point of this is to do with the first qualifier for europe being so early july15/16 I think players would have to be back for pre season late june after a season that will not end till cup final end of may. mark

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it is a good idea. Some of our players have been involved in high pressure games since July. The CL qualifiers are earlier this year, they need to re-charge. It won't be a holiday as such. more a break in a nice climate. They will all have fitness programmes to follow, diet sheets etc. We should, need, to hit the ground running for the CL qualifiers. We might not be so lucky in the draw this time regarding travel and climate. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant say 2 much abt gershon as he has not been given a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

It's to freshen the guys up for the final and the start of our next european progression.
