I am hearing from mate Celtic are looking at another loan deal to buy? Young Spanish speaking player supposed to play number 10 role or wing. Won't be confirmed till after preseason finished not sure why?

Now Armstrong is away sure Celtic will move for McGinn . I’d like to see him at Celtic a lot can be said for his work rate in the middle of the park from middle to front.

McGinn is now the obvious choice, domestically at least, as he carries teams up the pitch much like Armstrong. Around 2m plus Allen i would imagine.

So it looks like Armstrong is off to Southampton for 7m, pretty good business with a year left and January looming. Hope he does well as you could never fault his effort, but he ain't VVD or Victor.

A good steady player who will do well for the Saints.

We seem to be Southampton's feeder club as that is the fourth player we have sold them in recent years.
Not complaining as we get decent cash and sell-on bonuses, but is it sheer coincidence that we supply them with so much talent?

As far as I am aware he was not a Celtic fan if so I can't blame him for wanting to try something new good luck to him Good business from us also Even if some players see us as a stepping stone as long as we don't make a loss and he contributes to the team its a win win situation IMO.

Maybe because they're not ignorant enough to ignore the Scottish game. A lot of English say anyone can look good in this league but there's been plenty that has came up here and found it hard but down well down south? And if you're going to raid any club up here then we are the one with all the talent.

He goes after the players that the Manager says he wants, Has anyone from the club actually confirmed who we are after?

People on here are just waiting on any media story to come out regarding what players we are supposed to be interested in just so they can then accuse the board of not wanting to spend money.

Maybe we should throw £3 million at a Brighton reserve player or £3 million at a Croatian defender who's team came 7th in there league in the last 3 seasons.
Would that make him happy, We would have spent money on the Defence then!

What you on about. All he wants is defenders of quality bought. Lawell is the main man. Who should he have mentioned? We need to strengthen thevdefence, end of.
I’m sure we will, but ours are posted and people can have a view that’s different from you, you know.

I want him to buy defenders too. Don’t you? And not ones that can’t get a game for crap teams either. That’s what we need most, so, reacting to a post about a player whose past it made him react. My point is that people on here read crap on twitter, online forums or in the SMSM and jump about saying we won't spend money, it happens every transfer window and the board gets the blame.

I want quality brought but it doesn't have to cost millions.
and spending 3,4,5 or 6 million doesn't guarantee quality.
I know it's rare when it happens but we got Lustig on a free and Ajer for £650,000 who is a quality young defender.
On the other hand we spend between what £4 - 5million on Jozo. who is as a good defender but quality? NO. Also he's only played 52 games in 3 seasons, so would you say that he was worth the money spent? Also is he any better than Ajer? I would say No but you will probably say he is just because he cost more. and then we have Boyata £1.5 million for a good defender when he is on his game.
So maybe we should just throw £7,8 or £9 million at a player because according to people on here, that would guarantee quality.
