Hiya..as a female fan, can you confirm we can still add to the squad this week to play Sion ? Am a tad worried about this game I hear we could have Hooper & Wilson back... And, just how bad is Kayal's injury ?

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Kayal, hooper and wilson should all be fit to play sion but players can be added until then (hav 2 be registered be4 though)

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant add any new players for sion game the deadline was last weds

Latest to be linked:
Liam Ridgewell
Vitali Kutuzov
Marek Bakos
Royston Drenthe (Loan)

Still possibilities:
Le Fondre
Santa Cruz
McFadden
Eremenko

Believable9 Unbelievable22

Not good enough. Apart from Drenthe. Where are these 'two or three QUALITY players' you promised us Lawell? Very, very frustrating.

Agree0 Disagree0

Linked by who? their agents?

Bakos looks ok but a bit old

22 Aug 2011 22:41:55
What striker could we realistically get to our beloved hoops??????

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Larrson was signed for £650,000 & I want another gold find like that...am I expecting too much ? A right crackin No. 7.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently adam le fondre but no one has heard of him and because he's from league two not good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

There seems to be an obsession on here about Adam le fronde why don't we aim higher than league 2 .we need a big game striker capable of winning the league no more runner up signings ,complete players

Agree0 Disagree0

I think le fondre would do a job for us, better than sammy anyway, of what ive seen of him he is quality and for £400,000 its worth the risk

Agree0 Disagree0

No way will you ever find such talent like Larrson total football genius thats coming from a Rangers supporter also think all this paper talk of Crisis at Celtic is a load of nonsense hope that you do challenge for the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Santa Cruz on loan or that N'Doye guy from Copenhagen.

Alright hoops, What a panic we r all in
just think if the board let lenny buy
shane long in jan we would have a guy that could score 20+ a season. 2 goals against Man Utd and chelsea in first 2 games is he another james mcarthy or steven fletcher?

What about T hitsberger? Free
R Fuller? 500k
george Boyd? 1 million
sol Cambell? Free
conner samon? loan/option buy
Tim cahill? 3 million
yakubu? 2.5 million

Believable5 Unbelievable21

Hitsberger- think hes away
fuller- maybe
campbell - welcome to him
samon - no chance
cahill - your drunk no chance
yakubu- away to leicester

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Cahill leave the EPL for the SPL - or any player ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Campbell would be better off with malcolm not sol. At least we would get fresh turnips not ones that are past their sell by date

Agree0 Disagree0

Yakubu makes sense strong goal scorer good price

Agree0 Disagree0

Hitzelsberger I think has signed for Wolfsburg.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate celtic don't even have £ 3 million to spend

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we do have £3million to spent you dumb fool It's only a question of whether our board is prepared to spent it.

Hitzlsperger = No
Fuller = No
Campbell = God No
Sammon = No
Cahill = No chance of getting him, would need atleast £10million
Yakubu = I'd take him

Agree0 Disagree0

was the bianchi link just paper talk and if not what is the latest , as of all the strikers we have been linked with he looks the best prospect ,is the problem that torino want money, also to all the people just throwing in names remember this isnt stalybridge celtic rumours . if your just lying make it a cracker then at least we can have a laugh with you

Adam Le Fondre wants to play at a 'higher' level with Championship clubs interested..would he come to SPL ?? I would like to think so however, which one ?

Believable5 Unbelievable13

He would be well at Dunfermline or aberdeen I think if Celtic signed him there would be an uproar and rightly so ,check out league 2 on BBC football site and tell me u honestly think someone from this
League will win us the league

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a natural scorer with an awesome record of goals per game, do you think all players start at top academys some come through the ranks and lower leagues on ability. Was it not CM Smith you were after not a month ago who no one had heard of and you were really excited. If the old firm go out of europe on Thurs night you will not sign anyone but players from league two standard (which is probably on par with SPL) so i suggest you get used to it for the forseeable future. Remember Shane Long who you all kept on aboot, keep saying your well off I don't think so, the standard of football is putting off players and no I'm not a Rangers fan they are in the same boat but a realistic Englishman who has lived in Scotland for 30+ years

Agree0 Disagree0

Only have to look at standard tonight...Spurs come here & destroy Hearts. Play Man Utd and Spurs lose 3-0. I would defo give the guy a shout...a good poacher is what we are crying our for

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god a realist at last. time to wake up and smell the coffee the days of signing household names has gone any half decent players will go to the premier league or championship or in fact abroard (turkey russia etc) if either side of the OF lose on Thursday the coefficient will decrease again making it harder and harder, face it where would you as a player rather be playing Dumfs, St johnstone, ICT (no offence) or Leicester, Forest,Derby, leeds, Brum, West ham etc , sorry not slagging off just being realistic

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 20:11:12
Just a question when do the epl clubs have to register there 25 man sqaud by? Will it give us enough time to pick some players up? {Ed007's Note - They need to be in by 17.00 on the 1st of September.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

22 Aug 2011 19:44:17
Yakubu is out of favour at Everton and is available for £2.5-£3 million and i think he could be an ideal signing for us. Powerful, fast, good scoring record. Wages maybe an issue.

Believable16 Unbelievable15

And the fact Celtic obviously dont have 3mil to spend may be another problem

Agree0 Disagree0

He turned down 30k to join leicester as he's on 40k at everton so no

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 19:37:12
hi ed just wondering what is the financial situation at celtic how much would we actually have to spend ? {Ed007's Note - No club ever comes out and announces their transfer budget, and if they do it it is usually garbage like Barcelona done this summer.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Sell before you buy or loan deals, squad is huge.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 19:14:49
What's the latest on the kid Feruz? Has he officially gone? Or is there a chance he might stay?? {Ed007's Note - I don't think it is official becuse he cant sign pro contacts with anyone until he is 16 (10th September.}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

He can't actually sign a pro contract with Chelsea until 10th September next year Ed as you cannot become a professional until you are 17 in England {Ed007's Note - I stand corrected.}

Agree0 Disagree0

This laddie owes Celtic big time . I would be totally miffed if he signed a deal knowing that we would get next to nothing for him . If he wants to go we should be making it tough for him .

Agree0 Disagree0

The lad owes Celtic big time? for what for helping him and his family appeal against deportation. This is what our club does and its part of why were the greatest club in the world. If he does not want to be part of that, or a club that raised thousands for his native Somailia at the JK testimonial, then he's entitled to walk away if he wants. Yes I hoped he would be something special for us. But if his hearts not here then were better of letting him go. Also I cant help but feel that he is not quite the world beater that we think. He may have been talked up a bit to prevent him being deported

hi ed i have read on sky that we're considering a move for liam ridgewell do you think it could happen {Ed007's Note - Birmingham were originally looking for £6 million but with their financial problems it has supposedly dropped to £2 million. I would be happy if we could get him signed up, but TBH I don't know where the story/rumour stemmed from.}

Believable9 Unbelievable7

Wouldnt you need money 1st to be able to spend it on players?

I'd give murphy a run in the team...he looked decent in pre season and he's more direct than sammy, and can actually win a ball in the air When was the last time celtic were a threat from corners??

Believable21 Unbelievable10

I'd give a run, a run to the airport.
The guy is worse than Sammi and that is bad.

If anyone desevrse a run in the team it's Rasmussen. The guy never did anything wrong on the field when he played.

A true poacher something we could really be doing with at the moment.

HH

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't put it better myself. Murphy is mince

Last time celtic were a threat from corners was with balde and mcmanus

hi ed we jim hear who would you like to see celtic go for before the window shuts would you take crouch or is he out our reach {Ed007's Note - I think he will be out of reach with his wages. His Mrs is starting to work again after having their baby so I can't see him coming up here without his new family.}

Believable0 Unbelievable10

Ed mate is crouch out of reach,(you replied)hes 6'7" bet u dont reply to this {Ed007's Note - He isn't to me, I'm 6ft3 and about twice as wide as him ;-)

not a rumour just a thought guys why do we not put in to get big crouch on loan for a season then maybe buy him for a knock down price i no his wages would be dear but surely the board must no we need a big striker who can score goals and he would be excellent for us i just think its about time we spent some proper money before its to late we really need to win the league this year and i think if kayal and hooper get injured again we would be in trouble

Believable4 Unbelievable18

22 Aug 2011 17:57:23
Evening Ed, your a man in the kno. Have you heard anything concrete about these different rumours that have been doing the rounds today?

If we lose the league to Mccoist in his first year then it will be unforgiveable. Peopel talk about FAITHFUL THROUGH AND THROUGH, what have we been for the last four years? We have had enough heartache and its about time the board backed up the manager with investment. If we lsoe the league then the whole board, plus Lennon must go. It is loses like yesterday that cost us the league last year, just not acceptable.

Believable18 Unbelievable7

Arrogance is still alive and kicking around the celtic fans i see,we have won the league for three seasons in a row now,we cant be that bad, where does all this rubbish about celtic being far better come from?players like brown will win celtic nothing, scottish cups are booby prizes before anyone starts about that,do yourselves a favour and wait till you actually win the league before shouting about how bad the gers are

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree about the board pi@@ing of but for lenny i trust its not his fault do you want him to pull cash from nowhere,as for that other tool bolt

Agree0 Disagree0

The season hasn't even started and yer already crying.it's pathetic...delusional..THE BEST TEAM WILL WIN......truth is you should be willing yer team wins on thursday because that's the most enjoyable games to watch....kay sara sara....

Agree0 Disagree0

If you do not win the league this season, it will be because Rangers will have been more consistent again. A high percentage of the Celtic fans wrote McCoist off long ago. Rangers made 2 extremely good pieces of gusiness this summer= MacGregor and Davis signing back on for long deals. Most of the squad still same as last year, if anything Rangers should be stronger this season with hopefully plenty of competition for places.

As I see it, celtic are banking on the HMRC coming down hard on Rangers, if things don t work out that way, it will be every bit as tight as last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets face facts we are both dross and the way i gauge this is by performance in europe , we have both had our moments in europe in the past but those days are gone , we cant attract Suttons ,Hartsons, Thompsons (true premiership players) not got the cash nowadays, we now shop in the lower leagues hence dross

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers and Celtic and now just the best of a bad bunch. Just look at what Man Utd did to Spurs and what Spurs did to Hearts. And what both Rangers and Celtic did in Europe - mince against mince teams

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 17:32:36
I think both sides of the old firm need to realise that Scottish football is in serious decline. It has been 13 years since the national team made a major tournament. And unless Scottish football gets some major investment, seeing our clubs in major European tournaments could be a nothing but a memory. When We got to the UEFA final we had the likes of Sutton who we paid £6m for. These days £3m is a big spend, meanwhile teams in the ingerlish championship are spending £6-9m on players. This doesn't excuse our bad performance against st johnstone, but when it comes to Europe, what can you do when you play in playoffs against teams like arsenal for the champions league, or eastern european teams who are spending millions. If no spl teams get into the Europa league group stages this season, we will continue to fall down the rankings until we are unseeded and then we really will struggle.

Guys on Thursday we need to win, hopefully Kayal, Wilson and Hooper are back, but this is the type of game that SHOULD suit Samaras strong running, holding ball up bringing others into play, remember Ibrox last year that is why Lennon likes him. Yes I know everybody will shout me down but trust me this is big Sammy's chance to do us all a turn. hail hail Timalloy

Believable9 Unbelievable15

I hope you are right, but for me Sammy is not living up to his potential and if Hooper is injured i fear for us we cant seem to score

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Sammy can do a job when we are a bit under the cosh in a big game but we only have 5 or 6 big games in a season. He needs to do a job in 45 games a season. If he was consistent he'd be a legend and we would probably have sold him years ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sammy plays when he wants too hes has the ability of any top striker, but like Maloney if he has a few bad touches, a couple of poor shots (or simply isnt interested) then hes a passenger

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont know why use all like samaras he has three good games a season max just not good enough he had a good game at ibrox last season took him untill new year to score a goal that is pathetic for a striker a striker shouldnt just suit one game he should suit them all hes a fu*king football player ChrissyBhoy91

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't talk crap he's pish and i do remember him playing agaist the currents last year he missed a penalty with just a few mins to go he's a fud

We have one week to go before transfer window shuts so at least we have a chance to get a decent striker and cb in, the defeat against st J might be a blessing in disguise as we now know that the fringe players arent up to the job ,I know some fans knew that already but maybe the board thought we where better than we actually are so Dermot get some loose change out and give the best supporters in the world what they deserve HH

Believable10 Unbelievable4

About 4 years ago the board had a choice to make, rangers were finished fiancially, they couldve virtually guaranteed top position and champs league football for years, they chose to close the biscuit tin and kept it shut thus ensuring financial stability, now theyve got the same chose to make, but with the season ticket money already banked what incentive is there for the board to let the moths out? theyve never done it before...

richard dunne back on neil lennons radar and is expected to make a 1.8m bid tomorrow or wednesday and should be accepted by aston villa lennon is looking to bolster his defence and the irishman fits the bill with lennon wanting experienved players for his young looking team

Believable11 Unbelievable19

U got a source for this or is it u just talking sh1t wouldnt want that big donkey anyway
cfc1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree totally with first reply turns like a corporation(stagecoach for younger readers) bus

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah you're right, why would we want an internationalist who has been playing regularly in the EPL when we have Loovens and Big Dan to call upon?
Get a grip, who would you like Celtic to go for?

Dunne would be a great signing, and would also help Rogne come on as well. Hope the OP is right with this one

Agree0 Disagree0

Richard dunne has recently said he is happy where he is and anyway £1.8 million is too low they would be crazy to accept a bid like that

SkySports are reporting that Liam Ridgewell is being linked with Celtic and Everton. I live down south now and have seen a lot of this guy over the last 5 years. He is a tough tackling leader and just the sort of player we need. He was captain at Birmingham, not sure if he still is.
If he has the option of going to the PL, then I think we will struggle to get him, however there are reports that Everton are totally skint which may help us.
However I too used to being let down these days and fear this signing is merely another one we will miss out on.

CharminBhoy

Believable13 Unbelievable4

Hope we get him, I heard he can play left back as well as central defence. Could be a great signing. Need a striker too though or try Rasmussen again.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance if johnson has been sold and dann about to be. would take about £4m

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish the enquiries would stop and firm bids start

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't get Ridgewell...too big a target for the SPL and there are plenty of teams in the EPL that'd take the guy.

celtic interested in young huddersfield attacker jordan rhodes lennon has been watching him last 6 months

Believable12 Unbelievable9

6'1", only 21 and scoring on average a goal every second game? Could be the sort of player we're looking for but in all honesty I would like to see us get a big striker with a bit more pedigree about him - someone who can handle playing in big games and in Europe (if we make it there)

Bunny Munro

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the sort of player celtic like and have had success with. Might not cost too much but I would prefer a more experienced striker for

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree i would like a big striker with a decent pedigree but that costs millions and millions and we dont have that i saw him bout 10/11 games last season on league football on sat nights he has got lots of ability and pace think he came from arsenal youngsters but i may be wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

You can only get a pedigree and reputation by playing in europe like rooney and messi etc... could be a cracker with hooper

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 14:29:36
Just saw on ssn that Celtic and everton are interested in liam ridgewell. He would be a welcome signing. Question though is he cup tied for Europa if he signed?

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Think so m8 he played in birminghams first leg against Nacional

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't think so. We wouldn't be able to play him on Thursday anyway as forster was our wildcard but if we get through to the group stages then it wouldn't be a problem regardless if he's played in the qualifiers for another team.

Bunny Munro

Agree0 Disagree0

Weve no chance of gettin him,i would love to sign him though

BodieBhoy88

Lifted from main page. Are we still interested? Can't say I know too much about the fella...

22 Aug 2011 13:08:03
Hi - just like to say how shocked I am reading the comments from some (I hope to God its Rangers fans pretending to be CFC fans).. NL for the sack? You must be having a laugh? Lenny was sent bombs, bullets and death threats, yet he stuck it out and remained manager of CFC for the love of the club and its supporters. Talk about loyalty? Faithful through and through? Some of the part-time hoops fans are a disgrace. Aye he got 2 shocking results in the space of a week, and granted we need 3 OR MORE players in. The Celtic board need to do something about that. Lenny is under no illusions and has said himself he would like 3 players (GK, LB and CF). He has confirmed his interest in Wayne Bridge ED? Do you know anything about this or any others? KEEP THE FAITH, HAIL HAIL

Danny Bhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable8

I agree...it Ally Mccoist had been left with the team Neil Lennon was after Mowbray, they would have been looking at relegation, not 2 cup finals, unbeaten at Ibrox and pushing the league to the last day

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Danny. Either back him or feck off. It's not lennys fault we have a few key injuries and that the board want spend. GBNL
Ben Bhoy 1916

Completely agree Danny Bhoy, I said pretty much the same in my post. It's a disgrace the way some people are acting. Celtic fans in disguise I HOPE.
Chrissybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I want neil to succeed as much as everyone else but its not st johnstone, its his tactical nievity in europe thats the problem, He hasnt understood it and unless he starts very soon then its another bad season. He could be a great manager he needs to understand how to play in europe

Agree0 Disagree0

The question is though is he gonnie play with 1 up front away in europe like last season? And you know it`l be sammy who gets the nod...God i hope not

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think you can make a judgement on his european credentials, won 2, lost 2, drawn 1, last season was a new team and the results didn't go the way we would have liked but his record in europe is no worse than any other manager at this stage of his career. This season is make or break but lets give him the time he deserves.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Rangers fan I must confess that a lot of my fellow bears have been posing as Celtic supporters on message boards and phone-ins to try and unsettle the Celtic support. But despite that it does not hide the fact that Celtic were mince yesterday and these are exactly the sort of performances that costs titles - some told me that the experience you gained last year would see you home this year - well on that evidence not a lot learned from a lot of the players

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical rangers supporter talking rubbish trying to get us to turn against one and other. Dont listen to him the majority of posters support the 1 true team in scotland celtic. This will be our year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen i pay my money for a season ticket and if my opionion is tht lennon should get sacked them its my opinion he cant hide behind bullets and bombs and death threats for ever if for the good of the club is tht lennon goes then he should go. i would agree the board need to spend money but as to say dont sack him cause he got death threats then u need to take a look at yourself

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard a RUMOUR yesterday that there will be 2 signings imminent...Gary O'Connor for 650.000(hard to swallow when he was up training on a free recently before joining Hibs)and Ross McCormack from Leeds for around 1.5 million. This would mean the end for Mr Ma-foney...sorry Shaun but your ship has sailed old bhoy...not even a third of the talent you once were. Also the end for Murphy and Samaras.Got to be better than what we currently have. What do you think Bhoys?

Believable2 Unbelievable24

Also heard the one about Ross McCormack but that person o'connor is worse than sammy and murphy

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to O'Connor he does know where the net is though

Agree0 Disagree0

O'Conner would do the job in the SPL but for Europe? I 've heard this too and thought it was a wind-up. But maybe not the worst in the world. After all if he can score in a s*t*y Hibs team?

Listen to you all. Whatever happened to faithful through and through? One game does not make the season. Get a grip people and have some faith. Hail Hail. Chrissybhoy

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Chrissybhoy you must be in another world we look so bad we cant even beat st johnston at home. we need new players and need them now

Agree0 Disagree0

Chrissybhoy, can you not see, yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back for a lot of people. This has been brewing for a long time. For me it's been since Gordon Strachan bought Wilo Flood.

We must invest in quality, not quantity

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a quality front man with presence and a quality central defender. we also need a left back on loan now Charlie is injured. I have been impressed with Mathews and Cha this season though so not all doom and gloom

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no doubt that we need new players in and without arguably 4 of our best players we look like a P**** poor team but it's still only one game. I really can't believe that people are getting this carried away, last week people were happy with what was happening and the players we were bringing in and slagging off Rangers and now because of one game attitudes change. With out a doubt between last year and a couple this year we have made some quality signings, maybe it's just me but should we not be getting behind OUR team and not getting on their backs?

Get a grip chrissyboy lennon is not a bad motivator, but look at the facts, every big game he has fallen short on. Ross County, Braga, Utrecht, Cis Final, Inverness end of season. I have no doubt he knows how to get the majority of us on his side, but If it was any other manager they would be gone by now. If we get knocked out of Europe again then time is up, simples.

Agree0 Disagree0

One defeat is not a disaster but it is clear our team lacks a leader on the park. We are too mentally weak and have a team of "hiders".
At the minute both the OF have inexperienced managers and both are dross and have been for a few years now. Where they are better than us is their team mentality. They have leaders. We havent. Unless we get strong characters in then the league will go to the team that can dig out the win when playing poorly. And that isnt us

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a quality frontman i would say bianchi or if possible santa cruz we also need a midfielder who has vision and can make the killer pass eremenko maybe cheap but has good technique i would also throw the boy twardzik on at left back rather than wilson the guys left leg is for standing on only

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously can not believe what I am reading.. NL stuck it out when he was getting death threats, bombs sent etc, because of his love for CFC and the supporters, now he gets 2 bad back-to-back results and people want him out? Aye the Celtic BOARD need to get the funds for players, but NL has admitted he wants 3 new players. Get a grip please you are all disgraceful

Agree0 Disagree0

Where's the money coming for the quality signings u want? It isn't there 2 spend so get real. That's how it's going 2b 4 Scottish football. How about the club doubles the price of a season ticket for the 'Marque' signings, would u b happy with that?

Get a grip.

A lot of people want rid of the deadwood but who's going to buy them? no1 as they're dross.

We can't exactly ask them to leave as they have contracts.

Yes Sammy, Maloney, Murphy, Loovens and a few others need to go but untill a club comes in with an offer then they'll stay, so don't blame Lenny if he can't find a taker.

Also why do some fans want rid of Stokes? Give the guy a break. He'll score goals 4us.

Richybhoy

Believable6 Unbelievable8

I agree with first part but after that the, sorry, no. Don't blame 'Lenny'? who picked the team that drew with Sion and got beat by St. Johnston at home? 'Lenny'

Stokes is a troublemaker, get rid. Give hime a break? he is more interested in politic in his native land and how he can 'brag' about playing for Celt

people may think this is unsupportive and me getting Celtic but that couldn't be further from the truth. Tes I thin Lennon got it wrong, twice, but I have faith in him and as long as he is the gaffer he will have my full support but my opinion is that he has been naive in the transfer market ( this window ) and with his tactics and seems to have blind faith in Sammy and then drop him.

In Lennon I still trus but..........like the whole team YOU need to improve.

Just my opinion

Lennon has just signed sammy on three years he obviously rates him

first of all lennon is only in the job because we did not want to finance a big name manager we have to now accept the board are not prepared to spend big money on players we will all have to sit back frustrated for another season we fall into the buy your season tickets and we spend on new tops and everything else maybe time to do what rangers did yesterday play our young players.patrick -k ps still sick as a pig after yesterdays result.

FFS guys get a grip will ya. One defeat does not a title lose. Remember wgs first games and we all know what happened then. Have faith, the board are not stupid they know we need to win the league this year and the players will come. Don't behave like orcs. in lennon we trust . Just listen to the thunder.

Believable12 Unbelievable14

Its not one defeat there was a pattern last season we we dropped point off wee clubs that were in poor form themselves, culminating in the Inverness game that cost us the league, no investment since and no change in pattern...thats enough to worry me

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as lennon persists with samaras and maloney you can forget thunder and the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen to the Thunder is it...? FFS thats the problem here How about we get rid of NL and replace him with someone who can put a consistant team out there who are good enough to create a thunder instead of a wee nutter who just TALKS about it to fool a lot of the people a lot of the time...

Agree0 Disagree0

Last season was all about rebuilding following Mowbrays shambles and it took a long time for the team to finally gel. We do not have a right to win everygame, Yes it's not been the best of starts but we don't have Hooper, Izzy,Kayal. Im sure a striker will be brought in by the end of the window.

C'mon lets not panic over a couple of games as attendances are up and we are just a couple of players short of romping this league

Richybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at the game yesterday and we should have won by four goals. Paddy mccourt should have been on earlier. Maloney was very poor second half. We kept hitting balls into the box as if Hooper was on but there was noone there. Kayal was badly missed to break down a solid defensive line. Was NL trying to save some players for Europa match?

Agree0 Disagree0

You lot should be ashamed of yourself. You're not fit to stand in the jungle. Jock stein will be turning in his grave. Let's show everyone what REAL Celtic supporters are and quit bitching. Hail hail

Agree0 Disagree0

Vote with your feet it's the only language lawell will understand their policy of signing guys on the cheap to hope they'll come good has backfired on them

Agree0 Disagree0

Lawell needs to know what we think he just isnt getting the message. I dont want to damage the club but i want him to understand I aint happy. Banners perhaps?

Agree0 Disagree0

This aint lennons first games he has had 1 and a half seasons to prove it and in the big games we have done what? sweet f**k all big deal we beat rangers a couple of times did it win us the league no it didnt

why cant rasmussen get a game ?whats
happened anyone know, hes just as good
as the rest

Believable19 Unbelievable6

Completely agree with you there. In the game against St Johnston we were crying out for a player like Rasmussen, a goal scorer n much more. No idea what's going on, seems like a strange one to me but Lenny must just not fancy him.
Nickybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point mate, he was exactly the type of striker we needed yesterday, a poacher.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree also...he showed enough when we first signed him to suggest he would be ok...after yesterdays and thursdays goal free 180 mins i'd have him back in

why arent celtic using their partnership with santos laguna if they arent wanting to spend. should have got benitez whos now moves and scored 5/5. also is there still interest in de nigris?

would like celtic to sign a commanding centre back to play alongside k.wilson. doesnt seem to be one that takes charge of the defence and motivates them

There is a lot of talk about all the dead wood at celtic, but a lot of that dead wood has never had a chance by that i mean 10 15 20 STARTS in the team, and by the way iam not defending these players by any means but we have just not seen them(therefore they are like new signings)these players are defo MCCOURT,HOOIVELD,ROGNE(i know hes young)the other guy RASMUSSEN(we are supposed to be looking for bulky like striker hes scored 3 goals in 5 games or something) is there anyone who would agree

leicester , west ham , nottm forest , cardiff are battling for samaras all 4 teams have had .3m bid accepted by celtic and its up to player who he chooses... also paddy mcourt could be on his way to blackburn for 1.4m

Believable6 Unbelievable27

Is that 3m or 300,000 case the latter would be more realistic

Agree0 Disagree0
