We WILL get over the line. In my humble opinion NL is not the answer and we should be looking elsewhere. I have defended PL to the hilt and said he is running this club/ business extremely well. HE AND THE BOARD NEED TO SHOW THE SAME AMBITION THAT ATTRACTED THE RAT! Thanks Neil, for getting us out of a wee hole. He will get a job, no bother. WE NEED a class coach.

Agreed but who do we get? We got Rodgers because he is a Celtic fan who happened to be out of work. Who else at that level would come to the SPL?

We are not out of a hole yet, we could go into our last game against Hearts only 2 point in front because the way we are playing I don't see us winning away to Aberdeen or Sevco.
Lennon will become the man known for blowing the 10 IAR.

I am still very confident that It will be 8 in a row for Glasgow Celtic, unfortunately, Celtic have not scored the goals required against Livingston, and Hibs, Celtic had chances against Livi but did not take them, Against Hibs we also had chances, Some players taking shots on goal when they could pass to someone in a better goal scoring position, French Eddie, is still a inexperienced forward, but In my opinion I Would play Weah against Kilmarnock, and play Rogic in place of Ntcham, Hayes at left back instead of Izzy, and I would play Sinclair on the Left, as he always has the potential to get a goal, Hibs played well yesterday, and if Hearts had played half as good on Saturday they might have made more of a game of it, or are Hearts saving themselves for the 18th and the 25 of May when they play Celtic.

Goals are needed big time I’d take in 2 forwards in summer plus we will have griff and bayo eddy all ready for next season for me I’d take hooper back on 2 year contract as he’s free in the summer and also shankland as a prospect I think the boy could step up and score barrel loads.

I still can't understand why he didn't play Burk the game was calling out for a guy like that.

we Have never once taken advantage over our rivals this season. It’s been nothing short of lucky at times and that’s not good enough. We don’t scored enough goals. We’ve had a terrible season considering we should be 20+ points in front of our closest rivals by this point. We’re going backwards. Don’t act like everything is in the bag because it is not. There’s no fight in that squad and that’s the issue. We’ve got too many players that don’t want to finish games off. It’s terirble to watch right now.

Just look at the games since the winter break after we brought in Weah and Burke.
Before BR walked out we had played 9 games in the league and cup and scored 26.
Since Lennon came in we have played 9 games and only scored 12.
We haven't scored more than 2 goals in any game except the semi against the Sheep and have had Three 0-0 draws.
Lennon said he wouldn't change anything but that is total horse rubbish, the first thing he did was drop the boys on loan and the performances have went back to the way they were before the winter break, although until Lennon came in we had won EVERY home game.
I can't believe people are still coming out with the "in Lennon we trust" crap.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He's changed our starting formation from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 and only changed it yesterday when Rogic came on even though he could have pushed McGregor up with Brown & Ntcham playing the CDM and box-to-box roles in the 2.}

22 Apr 2019 22:12:54
Think Ntcham needs a run in the team ED we all know what he can do when he’s playing at his best. Arguably our second best midfielder. McGregor being first.

As for how we are playing I think the players need a rest. How many games have we played this season now? 60? With hardly any rotation and multiple injuries. Tough going for the lads and really need a break from it all. We better not mess this up.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You need to remember that Ntcham - a 23-year old man - is missing Dembele 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Who's going to sign him if he's going to constantly pine for Dembele, Lyon, Man Utd?

22 Apr 2019 23:10:42
I would think one of the last players N L would have thought of giving game time to was Burke . N L was certainly not going to forget Burke missed from less than 2 yds an open goal in injury time.

People legit in a panic because we drew one game? Some think losing this league is a possibility?

Come on not one can actually be serious?

23 Apr 2019 07:02:43
That is ridiculous when it comes down to it ED 😂. Tesla we drew 3 of our last 5 in the leauge and they were 0-0 draws. Should have won every single one of them.

Lol Ed you crack me up! Watching Leeds balls it up again today do you think a failure to gain promotion in the playoffs will give us a window of opportunity to move for Bielsa? Or is it all just wishful thinking?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I do think Bielsa will leave Leeds if they don't get promoted but I just don't see our board showing that level of ambition.}

23 Apr 2019 10:17:49
I’m sure Bielsa is on a crazy wage packet Aswell. Is he not on like 3-4m a year?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - There's internet talk about £8 million a season (I think the story actually started in that bastion of truth & integrity The Daily Star because he was supposedly on that at Lille, which is a totally different kettle of fish to Leeds in the Championship) but that's more likely to be closer to the total cost of his 2-year deal including bonuses etc.
More reliable reports from the press/media say that he's on a basic £2.5 million a season - £8 million a season means he's getting more than Benitez, Emery at Arsenal, Klopp at Liverpool and Rodgers at Leicester, in fact £8 million a season would make him the 3rd highest paid manager in the UK. Even Zidane wasn't earning £8 million a season during his first stint as Madrid gaffer.}

23 Apr 2019 11:41:03
Wonder if he would take a wage cut to come to us. Or is he stubborn don’t know him that well.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Bielsa isn't really motivated by money, Ken though obviously he makes sure he's getting paid the going rate. Here's what he said when he joined Leeds:

"It has always been my ambition to work in England and I have had several opportunities to do so during my career, however I have always felt it was important to wait for the right project to come along and so when a club with Leeds United's history made me an offer, it was impossible to turn down."

Stubborn you say? Now that's a thing that is pretty important - and maybe a negative when you consider our own treatment of managers in the past - is that if he doesn't feel the club/board/president are on the same page as him he'll make it known and if things don't change he'll leave. Look at Lazio where he lasted 2 (TWO) days saying the Italians had broken promises and they were unable to recruit the players he wanted and he felt that the club weren't supportive during the transfer window. Before that he left Marseilles after clashing with the club's management/board and at Lille he was suspended after 13 games after clashing with the board again about his plans to replace their ageing players - think Chelsea when the likes of Terry and Lampard were on the decline but still held a lot power at the club.
He's a bit temperamental and eccentric but he is still one of the best coaches in the world and one of the biggest influences on the modern game. It's not going to happen but we can all dream 😞
What about Bielsa with Lennon as No.2 learning from him and getting himself ready to take over after the 10 and GoingFor55?}

23 Apr 2019 12:16:45
Sounds like a great character ED that wants to do well wherever he goes. Shame that Directors etc tend to be obsessed with money on all fronts. He seems like he understands what the fans want and that’s important at a club like ours. But you could bet lawwell would never back him!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He doesn't seem to spend loads of money on transfers - apart from he's never been around long enough 😂😂 - he's more the type that will work to improve the players we have and tweak where it's needed with new additions. Off the top of my head he only spent about £10 million last summer at Leeds and about £7 million (+ add ons) of that was on Bamford.}

23 Apr 2019 15:15:07
I’ve watched a few games of Leeds this season Ed, they play attractive football. Just recently when I’ve seen them though he just seems to sit there when they leak goals, add to the fact he doesn’t seem to speak English may be a problem for us. Let’s be honest if ( hypothetically speaking he took over and struggled for the first few games the not speaking English language barrier would be brought straight up by a lot of fans) . It seems we are narrowing it down to moyes 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He began taking English lessons shortly before he arrived in the UK.}

23 Apr 2019 17:24:50
How much was Rodgers on when he was here, was it £45k p/ w?

23 Apr 2019 19:35:25
That would suit our system perfectly then, on that note have you ever heard of the Musafadza boy from Azerbaijan?

24 Apr 2019 09:31:52
So this Biesla guy has a great record of falling out with boards, but apart from that has he achieved much as a manager?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - built Chile into the best team in South America from a tiny group of players, very few of which were even international level. Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal were potentially quite good before he worked with them and turned them into great players. He coaches players to be much better. He did win titles in Argentina and was their first ever manager to win the Olympics. The key thing is his coaching though, he is a fantastic coach, he produces fantastic football and improves average players into ones that can play at the highest level.}

He would fully understand the interpretation of the rules in Scotland by SFA, by referees and assistants and by the support and help of the MSSM . This and the criticism of players and manager if they happen to not win a match, by Celtic 's so called wonderful supporters . Does anyone actually think he would last until Christmas.

Leeds was no where last season and up there contending for the league until the past month. Can still go up through playoffs of sneak 2nd. Just think we need to be ambitious for 10iar and not pick Lennon through sentiment. Sure Rodgers was on around £2.2m a year? With the money they picked up for him moving to Leicester surely they can cover Bielsas wages and sell him on the idea of being the first coach to win the 10.
