I don’t know what anyone else feels here, but right now I am totally sick of the board at Celtic. I have never came out and slagged Lawwell and co, but has Lawwell's ego actually got to the point where Celtic would be better getting rid of him?

We are a weaker side than last year, and the team has required defenders, and just a general freshen up for a couple of seasons.
The happenings at the club currently is sickening, we have a good manager who has turned the club around, but a chief executive who wants to weaken us from a position of strength.
Am I being a drama queen, or does anyone else have concerns?

If we don't strengthen between now and end of August, the club will have given up all hope of pushing on and improving. The defence needs strengthening. My concern has always been we have John Kennedy and Chris Davies as coaches, both of whom never cut it at highest level and I am not convinced they even know what needs to be improved. As for Lee Congerton, now is his opportunity to prove doubters wrong. Will he step up?

The board are devoid of real ambition and this year that has been shown it all its brilliant colours. Lawells ego is a problem, all the rubbish about his duel with Petrie cost us McGinn. His dithering cheapskate mindset has cost us £65m. If I had the power I would sack him.

Couldn’t of said it better just said something similar on here but we’ve still got the fans that think we’re going to stroll it have to laugh or i'd greet, not got a clue.

Board sanctioned the bringing of 5 players last January . A team that only lost 2 bit-part players this window shouldn't need many new signings especially as we are double treble winners.

I think we needed defenders though. And is that a respectable way to talk about two players who contributed to our success these last few years? I know your sensitive when others slag players. Isn’t that you being a hypocrite? I would say so.

I think, although we are off the back of a double treble season - following on from the once in a lifetime, 'Invincible' term, some of us are worried that we fail to keep improving from a position of strength; as has happened to previous Celtic teams over the decades.
There is no doubt that we still have some great quality and talent, but the manager has said himself that we are 'light' in certain areas and there is room for improvement going by recent performances.

To be honest I posted something similar this time last season and was met with "we'll still win the league by 30 points haw haw" . The other teams in the spl are continuing to strengthen and we aren't. The addition of eddy permanently is a cracking bit of business but not enough to push us forward and improve. We've lost Armstrong and Roberts, 2 players that can make something from nothing and they haven't been replaced. If I had a say in it I would make sure Boyata never stepped foot at paradise again and I would replace him, always thought he was a bomb scare anyways.

Yeah we are standing still. going backwards while others are getting stronger. With the money we earned we should've got a few class players in and none of this would be up for debate. Now we've crashed out of CL and lost to Hearts it seems the panic has set in a little. It's hard to judge right now as we've been unlucky woth injuries. Once OE and MD are back playing together we'll see the shape take form that was worked on from pre season. Still think we need to sort out our defence and add/ replace key areas or it could be a long uncomfortable season.

I’ve accepted the board have no ambition, and that we might not win the league, there’s nothing us fans can do though, Lawwells not going anywhere, it’s a case of like it or lump it, as for McKenna, not worth the fee, and underwhelming, but what else would you expect, as for Lee Congerton, he’s a bigger wage thief than Compper.

I think the problem we have as only cane to a head with management and board fairly recently . min January 5 players came in, M two were centre backs, I wonder when or even if the manager realised we had a problem at centre back . Was B R happy with his centre defence until Boyata said he was for the road . This could explain why we seem to be so far behind in getting a new defender . Brendan may have thought that Boyata and Jozo or Boyata and Ajer would be his pairing with Hendry learning his way as stand-by .
The above would appear to give us good cover and us a good defence, but Boyata spoiled that and at the pre AEK first match B R seemed not his usual pleasant self . Boyata shook him.
