Good day ed! Just wanted to ask about ibriham as I've seen you seem quite excited when talking about him. Is this boy a supposed superstar in the making? And why was he not even brought on as a sub ? Brian {Ed007's Note - He is a fantastic prospect Brian, it is just the physical side of the SPL he is not used to. Man Utd, Arsenal, LFC and Sporting Lisbon were all interested when he was younger. He went to Lisbon then onto PSV. He left PSV because of lack of game time so the hunger to play is there, it is just a case of making sure he is ready. From the little I have seen and what I have been told from CFC and other people abroad he is a real talent. The fact that at the age of 20 (21 now) he gained a work permit speaks volumes about his potential.}

Believable7 Unbelievable2

I think he should be in the squad every week. looks really skill full fast and hungry for games. Could be worth a lot of money in a few years time.

Agree0 Disagree0

I seen Ibrahim com on as a sub toward the end of last season he had about 15 - 20 minutes and in that time he had 4 or 5 really good passes into the opposition box was unlucky not score when hooper took a touch before the baal crossed the line, as soon as he had the ball he just turned and heade straight for the penalty area. one of the most direct players seen in a Celtic shirt for a long time, could'nt beleive the papers were;nt raving about him the next day

Hi Ed, loads of rumours about the monkeys right now! refs with EBT's (unconfirmed), jail time for high profile ex board members and staff! (if found guilty) scottish journalists owed money!(why?) Allegations of fraud at a higher level than we could ever have imagined! It's getting bigger and bigger every day, but I don't know what is true and what isn't......any ideas boss?

sparky88 {Ed007's Note - There is that much BS flying about mate it is hard to know what to believe and what not to. A lot of it is just speculation on 'what ifs'.}

Always thought he was a decent player, even when he was at Queen of the South, but I really don't think he will add the quality we need for the CL! Far from it IMO!

Don't think that's a good signing an average

Rumours again tonight regarding Rodallega signing for the Bhoys. Anything in this Ed?? {Ed007's Note - I have not heard anything about Rodallega since the initial message I tweeted on Friday night. It could be his agent using the club's name to drum up interest in his client. The story came from a Columbian journalist.}

You're right Ed, Holmes has had his contract extended by Tranmere, but he's stuck on the same wage, which is what is making me think he might be trying to get a bit more money, especially as a couple of their big earners have left. I think its lazy journalism in Scotland, recycling January's rumours, and him either hoping his big chance of moving to a big club isn't over or getting a bit more money. Nothing reliable is running the story, so I don't believe it, and by all accounts he's pretty average, not even Tranmere's best full back last year, according to a couple of the lads I know who go the Tranmere games.

Aye a heard that they have been working on building up his physical work we seem to be producing and buying quality youth
Looks good for the future ed

Housebuilders and property developers Allan Stewart and Stephen McKenna plan to bid about £11m for Newco Rangers.

The company Aleftav Ltd will be the purchase vehicle.

The company was incorporated on 2 August 2010 under the name of Payment Protection Rebates Ltd. On 28 February 2011 it changed it's name to Alefta Ltd and on 10 February 2012 changed it's name to Aleftav Ltd.

Stewart and McKenna are the only two listed Directors. The company does not appear to have a trading history and is therefore a "clean" company, with cash of bank of £2 in the last set of accounts for the period ending 31/08/2011.

K-Dot. {Ed007's Note - Allan Stewart was banned from being a company director for seven years during the 1990s. And I would be amazed if both of them have that sort of money between, the money will be coming from a third party. Allen Stewart used to be called Allen Stewart Bulloch, look up Grampian Glazing and also a certain Mr Purcell from GCC connection to Stewart (Bulloch).}

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Yes Ed, there is a bit of history there. They liquidated Stewart & McKenna Ltd over an unpaid Tax bill of £78k.

K-Dot. {Ed007's Note - Another couple of 'invisible' names pop their head over the parapet K-Dot....}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED007, KDot, what is it about that ex team that seems to attract all the shysters.... Timalloy {Ed007's Note - The gullibility of the old teams fans and individual's penchants for taking gullible people's money from them in a short space of time, seems to be a major driving force.}

On here to escape the fight on trolling going on, on the Liverpool site, after battling the main troll, have you heard about that Ed007? Talk of our site being shut down if it continues. Anyway, the reason you're being linked to Holmes at Tranmere is because he said he would be "delighted to play for Celtic if a deal could be agreed". So its come from him, which could mean he just wants a better contract a bit like the Wanyama situation or you might actually have an interest.
JFT96
Smithy {Ed007's Note - I am just online mate as I have been busy all day. It's about time the LFC Eds toughened up on the Gilfnards Smithy. I very rarely post or answer posts that don't have a name on them and pay even less attention to posts from mobiles that don't have a name. And if people want to keep abusing editors there are other avenues open to us to deal with it. Common decency and courtesy is not a lot to ask, but if you want to act like a kn*b then I am happy to treat you like one. Obviously not you mate, it's just the team you support that makes you a kn*b!! People could learn a lot by looking at the LFC, Utd and Arsenal sites. Posts without a name don't get much of a response because it is hard to trust or interact with someone who doesn't even have the brain power to think up a nickname to use. I personally would rather have a login system to get rid of the idiots, it's not as if we need to hit-whore or are desperate to get hits, it would cut down on a lot of the Eds work as well.

Didn't Tranmere trigger a years extension in Holmes contract? Press reports up here are saying his contract is due to run out but I'm not sure about that.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed…I’m just wondering would any new football club that is formed as the result of Ranger Football Club PLC being liquidated, have to apply to enter the 3rd Division.

I just remember at the Airdrie time, they applied and were refused in favour of Gretna. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that if they are not voted back into SPL then its definitely the 3rd Division.

Mrs E {Ed007's Note - If it goes to a vote for entry into the SFL then Spartans and Cove Rangers will also apply for the position.}

SFA employees involved in player registrations since 1998 have been told to report to the offices of Harper McLeod, so as precognitions can be taken from them.

How Ogilvie can remain is post is beyond me.

Precognitions? Are you saying that SFA employees involved in player contracts have to advise Harper McLeod of things they were going to become aware of in future?

Heard a rumour this morning,from a decent source,that Mr Ogilvie is starting to come under extreme pressure to come clean before this EBT investigation really starts.More than a few people are under the impression he must have knew about the dual contract scenario,and a lot of awkward questions are being asked.Senior SFA people are supposedly being ordered to the lawyers offices to give statements,the fear being they might have proof of lies and cover ups.Allegedly,two office bearers had a shouting match in an office regarding these statements............green jhedi

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I think once this REALLY gets started(the investigation) it is going to open up a whole can of worms for the SFA/SPL and their institutional team.
This has the makings of imploding all of the Scottish establishment, hopefully it will bring about real change to the fools on the hill.....

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont know how ogilvy was/is allowed to be on the board or pannel while all this is going on and how good regan say he is inocent? did he just ask him himself and said ok thanks for your answer?

i HOPE this is true because we need to get out ALL corruptness from the spl, which is the only way forward and which would improve the game, we need all out from spl/sfa/refs. this has gone on for too long and a clean swip is needed not just finishing with rangers and club 12 but every aspect of the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ordered to the lawyer's offices? Have they all been given a summons by the courts to appear at the lawyer's offices? Why would the SFA personnel be ordered to do so when it's an SPL investigation? Rememeber as things stand the ONLY proven dual contract is that of Juninho so who is to say that's the ONLY one used by Celtic? I acknowledge that Rangers have a lot to answer for and that the SPL has stated there is 'prima facie' a case to answer but you can't just single out one club if it's proven to have gone on elsewhere.................

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe celtic looked into using ebts but the then chairman kicked it into touch, with the case of juninho celtic are said to have paid the tax after consideration of it.
I can imagine how farry would have dealt with the chaos of rangers cheating, probably would have placed in a locked drawer & forgotten about

BBC are reporting we're after that Danny Holmes from Tranmere who nearly signed for The Club Formerly Known As Rangers. Don't really think we need him because as far as I know he's a right back and we've got 2. Anyone seen much of him play? Could he play centre back? Is this all agent talk, and we're not actually interested? Kevslug.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

We only have one fit right back. Lustig who I think is not good enough requires hip surgery, so another right back would be cover for Mathews. He's only 23 and could be a good prospect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevslug wit a brill monica pal!
here dae ye take agis tae get tae the bog,here kevo ye dont wurk fur duff n duffur dae ye?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think we need another Rb tbh, Matthews has made the position his own and we have a very good stand by in lustig when he gets fit again.Probably just paper talk.

Haha no I don't work for Dumb and Dumber - I wish I did because I'd probably be able to afford more than Aldi lager until pay day. Name happened because Kev appears to be a common name amongst us lot and there's an old American punk band called Kilslug that I've obsessed over for a few years. Speaking of Holmes, I suppose if we need cover he might be worth a punt, I wasn't aware of how serious Lustig's injury was, but I wouldn't write him off all together - had a good game against England. Just studied the SPL fixture list for season 2012/13 ... Club 12's fixtures are the exact opposite to Celtic's , but if Club 12 turn out to be Dundee then they will be at home 9 times on the same weekend as Dundee Utd , do you think that perhaps the decision has already been made ? Drewzybhoy .

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Club 12 could be dunfermline and the dundee fixture thing would'nt come into it..bb

Agree0 Disagree0

It was supposed to be rangers so the SPL computer compiled a fixture list to include Rangers. They just changed the name to Club 12 after the fixtures were compiled. Games will be moved from Saturday to Sunday and vice versa depending on who gets the gig. Simple!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats true , but why go to the bother of keeping them the opposite of Celtic , Doncaster doesnt want to punish the late Rangers FC . Drewzybhoy .

Agree0 Disagree0

If they get put down to div.3 they will take stranraers fixtures,who have only 3 home games at the same time as celtic out of a possible 33 before celtic split.to prevent us and them both playing in the city at the same time.

This should have been sorted out WAYY before the fixture list came out,

{Ed007's Note - It was 2 different teams I think (and didn't include any Chel$ki players) .... Sorry for the cut and paste from my notes:

CL winners with 2 different clubs:

Seedorf, Ajax, Madrid, Milan
Paulo Sousa, Dortmun, Juventus
Panucci, Milan, Madrid
Hargreaves, Bayern, Manchester United
Van Der Sar, Ajax, Manchester United
Et'o, Barcelona, Inter
Redondo, Madrid, Milan
Desailly, Marseille, Milan
Deschamps, Marseille, Juventus
Gerard Piqué, Manchester United, Barcelona.
Deco, Barcelona, Porto.
