Av said all season a thought it would be Madrid once their transfer embargo was lifted . Zidane is a known admirer and I think he will advise dembele to stay another season, gain / prove himself in the champions league ( if we qualify again ) . Gain his first full cap and then seal a move to Madrid. Ronaldo n Co will be another year older and the time would be right next summer to bring in a young striker like moussa. Imo.

I'm sure there was talk of buying him the loaning him straight back but that was a few weeks since he was last linked away.

Let them have a bidding war i say. I think with Real Madrid there is a better chance of them letting him stay at Celtic for another season after they buy him, which is the ideal scenario, maybe a bit of wishful thinking, but that would be great business in my eyes.

I agree, I would even take a couple of million off the asking price if they were prepared to pay upfront and loan him back for a season. Would be a great bit of business, and let's face it we could have no ill feeling if the kid wanted to go to Real Madrid.
