There are rumours floating around that lennon has settled differences with commons and will be on the bench against motherwell. I for 1 would love commons to come back if he has lost the extrea weight. He can win a game with that left peg hopefully he can get back in the team. Must win game for lennon if he wants to remain in charge.

Bloody hope so.a fully fit commons is better than almost anything else in our league.as you say,he can be the difference between winning a game or drawing/losing it.
Guys i have received a text which is doing the rounds in glasgow saying that lennon and commons have had another bust up with lenny rapping the nut on commons. Most likely a wind up but though id let yous know.
Commons would just sit on him- game over.

Lennon shud stop acting like fergie and Wake up celtic cannot afford to let our most gifted player sit on the bench or worse still in the house last few games we have been screaming ot for a player like COMMONS, So bite the BULLET lenny and play him our you will get the BULLET. Just got same text message with strachan to come back as well, oh s**t
Guys, i have been posting on here for a while, getting involved in all the banter etc but not once have i put on a rumour claiming to have great sources, inside men or anything like that. I did however have a conversation from someone within celtic today who said that the NL and Commons problem originated after the St Johnstone game when Alan Thomson ripped into Commons for being overweight, lazy and not interested. Commons in turn rounded on AT over his apparent like for the drink (recent drink drive arrest) and told him where to go. As a result NL backed AT.
Also i was told that Strachan had been offered a position alongside Lennon until at least the end of the season and turned it down.
I'm not looking to gain anything from this nor do i want slaughtered by sceptics. I'm only passing on what i've heard on good authority to fellow fans.

I would rather we had strachan back champions league till after christmas cup wins league wins. Some fans have a very short memory. I am not a glory hunter but want us to do better in europe and win the league but Lennon any more dropped points and league is over

I heard commons had a right go at AT also had a dig at lennon due to both turning up late to training smelling of the Bozze if this was the case SPOT ON KRIS COMMONS. We need commons bck in the team A.S.A.P so man up lenny and give the fans what we all want KRIS COMMONS ON LEFTWING, FORREST ON RIGHTWING and watch the team go then, It take's a big man to admit that they made a mistake Lenny so get it sorted For motherwell away.

Ed I know you said in another post you couldn't go into detail about commons but is there more to this than just a bust up with Lenny and AT?you seem to have no time for commons so makes me think something else has happened.

Blah blah bla, let me set the record straight again since the ed never posted my message last nite, this is all bs... I work at parkhead and speak to AT at least once or twice a week and I've asked him all this and he's told me as soon as commons is fit he will be back in the team and not to believe all this rubbish
Get real out there all you guys screaming for commons to play no matter what hes done think about it he must have done something really bad for it to reach this stage is he bigger than the club no pun intended this is another unsubstanciated story starting to do the rounds that commons screamed at lennon that he hoped rangers win the league if that happens to be true will you still want him to play robb
So Robb......so is Lenny bigger than the club.
Also heard a rumour about Ledley getting called to see Lenny about his poor performance on Saturday and Ledley retaliating back reference Lenny hitting the bottle....hard by all accounts. (just a rumour that came up during a conversation)

To mkc no player/ manager is ever bigger than the club no matter who they play/or manage for, the supporters will make sure that is always the case as it should be imo . robb
MKC, I can't see Ledley being called to see Lennon after the game on Saturday regarding his performance. The reason being this was a wee quote from Lennon's after match interview:
"A few have been consistent like Ki [Sung-Yueng] and Joe Ledley. But there are others who are happy to go along, riding on their backs," Lennon said.
"I have to speak to them and out them, basically.
"I am really angry. They let the game drift away from them and that is not acceptable."
So why would he say (correctly) about Ledley being one of our better players then call him in to slate his performance?

Ed if u know the full story behind the Commons/Lennon saga why don't you put us all out of our misery and stop all the fantisists coming on here? Is the primary objective of the site not to pass news between fellow fans of the club? {Ed007's Note - I have said before for legal reasons I can't.}
