I think we were meant to be after him last summer but he chose to stay at WBA

Agree0 Disagree0

From what I've read his is west broms top young prospect but what chance do we have when the likes of United and City are sniffing about him! He tweeded about the reports earlier saying GiveMeFootball and Sky Sports! Are Talking Like They Know if I’m going or staying! I just want to enjoy my football

Fraiser Forster has finally Signed!
"I am delighted to finally get the deal done. It's a relief. I can honestly say it was always my priority to stay with Celtic. Yes, there was interest elsewhere but I was never tempted. I have already had two fantastic years here. Now I'm signed up for the next four years & I couldn't be happier."- Fraser Forster on putting pen to paper..

Everytime I come on here to read the latest CELTIC rumours, it just seems that our page is filled with chat about "them". Let's get back to Celtic chat guys.

Ed - Seems to be some strong chat that Michael Ciani from Bordeaux is in negotiations with us over a £1m and thus far all the noise rumoured to be coming from his side of things are that he's open to a move to Celtic. Is there a realistic chance this could happen or just more media talk? Seems to be the norm with us at transfer window time. We always get linked with lots of exciting players but they just end up leading to nothing. Hopefully we can get this one. Played for a top team in Ligue 1 and has Champions League experience. {Ed007's Note - I can't see the fee at £1 million, not with Roma's strong interest but CFC are talking to his people as far as I know.}

Leave them with their shovels while they are still digging. Stick with what we are doing next season. Who we want to sign, who is signing, who is leaving. I would also encourage all SPL clubs to get behind YOUR team, if you don't the Bully has won.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its funny how you both started your posts by talking about them ...

My belief is Whyte and Ticketus are in this together, and not in a good way, they are in trouble, so this is why the are quiet. 2 years of sky deal to go, they say they will pay full price as arranged with or without Rangers. What Sky pay Scottish Football is pocket change. Remember, the Crown are involved. This is why people are not speaking. The SFA I believe will be implicated. Thanks...ShaunGibson1888 (My views are my own)

Something does indeed still stink about all of this Shaun and I expect more revelations to unfold.

Ticketus giving up without a fight and agreeing the CVA just does not seem to be the end of the matter.

K-Dot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes. A lot of things don't add up here. And this will run for years in courts (Old-co) to decide who pushed the 1st domino. Thanks.

Shaun, thanks for replying so soon, welcome to our forum, I suspect you will be busy once the guys and girls start asking you questions. LOL Timalloy

Shaun, another question if you do not mind, well a couple, fans are asking with no ex club games that season tickets should reflect this, is there any prospect of say putting both CL qualifiers on ST.
Also I think Celtic are almost banking on getting to group stages, so fans get 3 big games to replace the 2 home ex club games. Is that how you see it?
Finally, surely if Celtic reach group stages then this season at least we make more money despit no ex club games in there. Timalloy ( some jokes I "borrow")

With us heading to Germany in around a weeks time you would expect Lennon to try and add at least one more player before then. Ciani now seems like our top target
and that deal could be done in the next week. We haven't been linked with many strikers recently and it wouldn't surprise me if Lennon had another ace (Kayal, Wanyama) up his sleeve, or Rodallega to sign on a free transfer. Henriksen will be the final signing of the summer but Ki will be sold before we buy him

The scum on Sunday are saying Forster has signed a 4 year deal and have given a quote allegedly from the big man! Can you confirm this ed?
Cheers

Green surfer {Ed007's Note - As far as I know the deal was agreed last weekend, it is just a matter of official confirmation.}

Good day ed! I read the Clyde statement this morning regarding the shame and their prospective entry into the first division and agree with their whole unbiased point! They also point out that the shame would be degrading their own fresh start through what would be ruining the integrity of the game even more!

Also I am friends with a boy from Livingston who is good friends with Scott arfield the former Falkirk player who now plays for Huddersfield and he text him asking about Rhodes future mainly on whether he could possibly sign for us and Scott text back saying that there is a good chance he is going to stay at Huddersfield .....

Brian {Ed007's Note - It does look more than likely he will stay for another year. Huddersfield don't need the money.}

HISTORY certainly does seem to repeat, with the second time as farce. Or around these parts, with the second time also as a nefarious plan hatched between the SFA, SPL and SFA to have a newco Rangers parachuted into the First Division, instead of starting out at the Third Division.

The games authorities appear either unable or unwilling to grasp the mood of supporters across the entire country. The attempts by the governing bodies to avoid treating a still-forming club that will play out of Ibrox as they would any other new club are becoming increasingly desperate. The old Rangers were driven to extinction by unethical practices, yet the means chosen to address the problems created are unethical practices. How else to assess the threat to let refusenik lower division sides effectively rot as other, more pliable members are co-opted into an SPL2? The lucrative package of reconstruction proposals with a new Rangers thrown in was cooked up by SFA chief executive Stewart Regan, vice-president Rod Petrie, SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster and SFL chief executive David Longmuir.

So here we go again. Just as supporters of SPL clubs rose up to prevent their club chairmen daring to vote a reconstituted but as yet unnamed and non-SFA member Rangers straight in to the SPL, so the supporter spring is rising up once more. mail on sunday

The SPL clubs must take heed of their supporters feelings and wishes if they want to boost attendancies and show integrity, diligence and moral fibre.
A vote of 'No Confidence' in the above trio should be a priority to rid us of corrupt and 'hidden agenda' grey-suits.
Get them out as they - like many dodgy predecessors cannot be trusted to run our game fairly and neutrally.
Have elections every 2/3 years if poss?

Jungle Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree that trio are despicable -especially Longmuir threatening 2/3rd of his members with virtual extinction if newco not slipped in above them. Agree -maybe 4 year contracts but ban anyone who was connected with any club in their category for previous 3 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Other SPL teams outside Cetlic can afford to lose up to 1 million a season. This would equates to about 5-10 first team players wages. How can these clubs reudce there wage bill within the next month to survive for next season. The sky deal is stated requesting 4 old firm games a season, if it stays it will be at a reduced price. Being a rangers fan, i am fully aware that we neeed punished, we have already have lost our history, our players,europe for 3 years and potential 10 years worth of titles during the double payments. How much more can a team take. I would except goin to DIV 3 but the clear matter is that the scottish game can afford to go even further bckwards that it has over the past 10 years. {Ed007's Note - The SLY deal does not state anything about derby matches, that would be match fixing, think about it.}
