In all seriousness I wasn't expecting much but I would rather we signed nobody than CKR. Give the bhoy a chance though and all that. Carlton Cole and Colin Kazim Richards in our ranks. It's obvious why we aren't a CL club.

Same old same old on this site everyone saying ckr isn't that good, give the guy a chance we got him on a free if I'm not mistaken and he has over 30 caps for turkey let's wait 6 months and judge him then if he is no good all we have lost is wages and a signing on fee which we would probes recup in selling him so it's a no lose imo, and let's be honest he can't be any worse than cifti can he?

@TAMC1888. CKR is another dud and a desperate sign of the chasm that develop between us and the rest of competitive European teams. He isn't free, what a ridiculous statement. He will be paid a 5 figure sum each week which drains our coffers for potentially 30 months .

I'm more than willing to give the boy a chance but I just don't understand why we singed Carlton Cole, these 2 are very similar and I can't see Cole playing much unless CKR is total crap.

We now have Griffith, Cole, CKR with Stokes, Cifti and Scepovic on Loan

6 Strikers! Can't speak about CKR but his goals to game ratio is very good. You have to wonder who is responsible for these signings.

Tamc I agree with you on This one. When did anyone last watch CKR in a run of games that can confidently comment on how good or not he is? As u said he has over 30 caps for turkey who are a good international team and he was free so pretty low risk if u ask me. Or we could spend 1.5m on ciftci. chow many caps does he have for the same country? Not that I'm saying CKR is any good but for a free transfer it's less of a risk. Maybe that's the new signing policy!

Hmmm fair enough ed! Wasn't aware of that. I know you aren't expecting much from him with what you hve been saying, I haven't seen much of the guy at all so have no idea if he will do well or not. We can look at it two ways, club showing no ambition by signing free transfer or club being sensible by minimising risk from, previous strikers by getting a free transfer in! Hope the guy comes good as we were all wary when we signed lee griffiths so might be another?

{Ed007's Note - The only time I can remember hearing his name was for the wrong reasons. Why sign him 6 months after signing Ciftci and put Ciftci out on loan. We all know RD is meticulous in his planning so where are these bizarre short term deals coming from?

I am not up on who is going, just know Kazim-Richards was very keen to join and Celtic have decided they are keen on him. Maybe it is the aggression everyone was calling for? I have no idea, but a deal is close. Though not done and he is still being shopped around, so I wouldn't count any chickens on this one.}

Maybe he's been sent to that jail out Midnight Express! Hopefully he's taking a few with him! We might also be better with that guard in charge of us! You know the big charming cuddly one! I don't think it could be much worse than watching this crap! If we got rid of 10 players today and the whole management team I'd probably skip home from work! I might even thrown in a few somersaults! We need an old school manager with real experience because it's not working! It's quite simple - either Ronny and the rest of coaches aren't doing their job/ aren't capable, or the players aren't listening/ aren't capable of learning, either way we need change!

I'd pay Prandelli, Favre, or Bielsa whatever it took to take over! The manager is the most important person at the club! If it takes £2/ 3 million a year for the right guy it's worth it! He can improve the whole club, something Lawwell isn't doing! We need experience for Europe, someone who won't be fazed, and someone with a real aura!

I agree Tam, - I just wish Desmond/ the rest of the board would overrule him. Supposedly the board are split about Ronny! They're all egomaniacs! I just read on another site that Moyes and a South American manager have been spoken to! It says the board where surprised at how much the South American knew about the club/ their history, and he would be interested! That could be Bielsa because he is a total anorak, and will know about Celtic! He'll remember us having a good team! He's a good age, very experienced! We should actually have went for someone like that with Deila being a coach! Anyway we need a change because I'm losing the will to live!

Agree with you Delphic we don't have the money to buy a good squad we need a very good manager to get the most out of what we have. The extra coin saved on buying shite strikers could cover their salary.
