Just reading their that our parent club are after Tierney. Hopefully it's BS as we'd probably sell him the first window a bid came in. Now I want us to knock back ANY bid, but hypothetically, what would people 'value' him at? The paper says £5m, for me, they can double that. Southampton paid 10m for Bertrand and KT is every bit as an exciting player, not to mention younger.

surprised it's taken this long for the papers to start telling us about teams interested in Tierney I honestly think this boy could do much better than Southampton and hope he gets the chance to stay with Celtic for a long time but with the current regime in charge they will accept any bid where they can make some money and obviously they won't care about the impact on the team.

That's what i fear bigD, the typical shortsightedness. It will benefit both the team and the balance sheets to hang on to him.

Apparently the story was an April fool joke. Hilarious eh? Wonder who comes up wae they ideas n how much they get for doing duck all. One look across the city n you'd find plenty to laugh it for free.

If he puts in a good shift against Italy and France in the upcoming friendlies there will be genuine bids for him in the summer. Even without that he has shown more than enough to attract interest. The only card we have tucked away is that he is a fan and is living the dream pulling on the jersey. We haven't had a decent young player like that in years. Never mind a fan but a talented player that would want to stay!
There will be no excuses if he is sold next season. We have been told when the undead bear boatman returns with his ragged purse there will be an extra few quid sponsorship available for new firm matches. With that bit of force fed pr in mind all KT bids should be filed in the gt* pigeon hole in the cfc sorting office.

Agree there rglen. I rate KT so highly. I'm not the oldest but I am genuinely more confident of this player becoming top class than anybody who has came through CFC as long as I've been watching. He's such a good defender, actually quite a rare thing in a full back. From what I've heard him and other people say, his attitude is perfect, and as you say, he'll appreciate pulling on the hoops as you or I would. I get the impression every game for him is what to us would be a chance of a lifetime. The consistency in his performances alone echoes that.

Haha was looking at celtic news now earlier n never read the story just the headline (schoolbhoy stuff) .lesson learned. Put it down to one too many shandies

Soon as I seen he had signed a 4 year deal like Ed quickly accepted he was going no where for at least the next two years minimum.
