Attempted to post this at xmas that a friend who has links to a law office that are involved in Celtics business affairs. Had said Brendan Rodgers had been offered the job at Xmas and accepted on the understanding he would be appointed in the Summer. The contract has been signed according to my friend and will be announced the week after the season is finished. Rodgers has apparently been studying various coaching methods and scouting players in the meantime. Hopefully it will be announced on cup final day to take away some off the shine from the Tribute acts day if Hibs can't win,

{Ed007's Note - According to Ed002 the job Brendan Rodgers would most want is at Valencia but they have someone else in mind -and the someone else has another job in mind. Next up for Rodgers would be the England job it might be a few years too early for both parties. Swansea could also be be open to his return.
I have serious doubts about any contract have being signed - why would Rodgers still be looking for jobs elsewhere if he's had one lined up since Christmas? The Valencia shout from Ed002 does make sense as Rodgers has always said his ambition is to work in Spain.}

Draw a line under that one straight away. Breach of confidentiality, something celtic are sticklers for. Just lies.

Spoke to mate who tells me that malky mackay is being considered to take over from deila in the summer. He knows one of the groundsman at celtic who says his name has been thrown around. Would prefer someone else in my opinion.
