I'm not saying it isn't true, but this guy has been chased by the Villa fans all season. Accused of lacking bottle in their relegation battle, of hiding when things weren't going well. Technically Veretout is an okay player, but got the heart of a French poodle when in with the proverbial 'dogs of war' that next seasons Derby with the clone rangers will surely be. Not for me I'm afraid, A striker is more of a pressing issue.

Really hope this isn't true! Like I've mentioned before midfield is the last place we should be looking at add to right now! Unless the player is of real quality then there's no point fillin it with players who are no better than what we have! And this guy falls into that category! Agree with Jim, the first position we should be looking at is the striking department! That must be a priority for BR.

The fans that turned on Veretout, if they examined their conscience are probably the group most responsible for Villa not been in the SPL .

One of the major problems when he came to Liverpool, first is I think he had the football ability of an 18/ 19 year old but he had the maturity of a 12/ 13 year old .
I think that clubs maybe don't look close enough at the character and maturity before signing players, especially players from abroad . Ballotelli wasn't able for the new life .
Will Ajer at 18 be able to handle what is thrown at him in Glasgow .

Don't think u can compare there temperaments ob. From what I can see of ajer he's a lot more mature than ballotelli is even now.

Stephbhoy it's not hard to know Ballotelli's temperament and his immaturity .
Ajer is a different story, he will probably settle ok, but a teenager at home with parents really different from living on own in foreign Country
