Does anyone have any idea when shorts and socks will become available for the new away strip. Went to the superstore yesterday and could only get my 10 year the top. Staff seemed unsure when rest of strip available. I have since heard the socks not available until September.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Cant believe that JJ sports are advertising on this site, I went into but the new Celtic black strip at the weekend and had to ask where the Celtic gear was, it was tucked away in the corner on 1 rack and there were 4 racks dedicated to gers stuff !! now they are either trying to pan it all off before Mr Green sells the car park to ASDA, Murray Park to Roosters potatoes and Ipox becomes a community centre or the owner of JJS is a gers fan. Thats not a business model thats a business muddle ! {Ed007's Note - It is Google that places the ads, we have no control over them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I phoned last week as I still haven't received my pre ordered top and was told they wouldn't be getting another shipment till 25th June think we should ditch Nike as this has happened a few times now never had these problems with umbro

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for replies. Is the Nike Store online or is it an actual shop? If so, where is it?

Thought JB might have known about the availability of the strips.

Agree0 Disagree0

The away socks are due in within the next week or two.The little boys and infant kits are also due in and the unsponsored short sleeve and long sleeve should be in the stores before the home kit launch.Online sales are nothing to do with the club,the money generated at Kitbag (Nike owned) stays with them whilst the profits from the shops gets reinvested in the team.Nike never produced enough stock which IMO is a disgrace as they should know after all this time what sort of demand we create for our kit launches.

Hi Ed
First time post here...great site!
If the Zombies have indeed a case to answer re:side letters, should we be worried about the Juninho EBT? We did settle with HMRC, but can it come back to bite us with the SFA?
Just finished watching the Eire game. Glad we took the cash for McGeady and that Given chose to go elsewhere. Are we really in for Cox...his arse is as wide as the clyde?! {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate and welcome to the Love Boat. There is no problem with Juninho's EBT, all money owed was paid and there was no side letters or anything. His payment method was stated in his contract as well.}

i will say it ad nosium { till your sick listening} they will not be allowed , or should they be , debt free into the spl . because they will have walked away from their debt while celtic and the rest of the spl clubs are still paying their debts. if this is allowed to happen , i have a new fiscal policy for every team in the spl .. stop paying taxes , hide the cash . go into liquidaion and come back as the ,, whoever , you have loadsamoney and challenge right away.... if they let s club 7 back in that sets a precident. it cant and wont happen.. i really has to be 3rd division..bb

Believable12 Unbelievable3

Totally agree bb , s club 7 will automatically become the richest club in Scotland before anyone invests in them, fact, once investors start filling their coffers they will go on a spending spree while the rest of the spl are trying to service their manageable debt( apart from s club 8 from gorgie) s club 7 fans will have no shame as they proved while following their previous club, and will show no embarassment if their new funded, debt free newco go onto win the league. As bb says it cant happen div 3 is best they can hope for........Stevie

Agree0 Disagree0

You won't get an argument from me bb. I (as ed007 will confirm if necessary), and the majority of the rest of the Rangers (The Rangers, Rangers 2012 or whatever we end up officially called - loved the S Club 8, pmsl at that one) support on here as far as I can see, have stated as much since prior to liquidation. Unfortunately the money men from our club and a few others don't see it that way. I, for one, am hoping for a 'no' vote to win the day as bridges need to start being rebuilt. I only wish we had displayed enough honour and respect to the other teams and their fans to have applied to Div3 voluntarily the day after Greene bought the club, that would have been a start in my book at least.

Brian (P)

Agree0 Disagree0

The Laptop Loyal think differently regarding what league TRFC will play in . Yesterdays Daily Ranger had 3 out of 4 pundits saying TRFC will be allowed back into SPL. The Herald`s Richard Wilson - what a prat that hack is ! - he has been arguing direct entry on the telly and in his column . He was on Newsnight last week and the only thing that was missing was his ragers scarf. Jim Spence was excellent !

So glad we never pursued shay given man has had a terrible time at euros his awareness is terrible now maybe he's just having an off tournament but wouldn't fancy another Marshall that keeps u on the edge of your seat for the whole game waiting on a mistake what's your thought on Ireland been pretty poor god knows what happened look solid in qualifiers ??

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not blind mate no need for sarcasm I'm just saying not that long ago shay given was Plying his trade and his best years at Newcastle against top teams week in week out to be honest haven't been blown away with Italy or Spain Croatia have played well but look at evey goal Ireland conceded even shot on target he's fumbling them or palming them away that was my point glad we never got him !! Aiden was a huge let down and caused more trouble for us than anybody else.Duff Keane and O'Shea were all poor,the rest were journeymen.Andrews had a decent tournament but Trapp must take some blame as well.At this level you must keep the ball,we were shunting 50 yrd line passes!............green jhedi

I feel as if ive been watching this Ireland team for aboot 20 years,time for a new, younger start,new ideas,i know they had a tough group,but they were pure pi55,lets be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Always was a fan of the lad from the neighbouring county ,but I have to admit he's had a poor euro 2012 ...They were in a tough group and with St Ledger and Dunne not on top of their game either he maybe had an excuse or 2 but when he looks back at some of the goals he will say to himself I should have saved that ....Biggest dissapointment of the lot was Robbie keane I thought ....Trapps pig stubborness in leaving 2 game winners at home ,Stokes and Ireland ,have to be taken into the equasion too ...A few changes to be made for 2014 starting with Trapp his ego and his easly earned s need to be shipped out .....TTTS

From Follow Follow, Rangers planned illegal march is cancelled...........

Postponement of Walter Smith march and rally After discussions with the police and others it has been decided to delay for the time being this Saturday's march and rally in support of the Water Smith led consortium. The enormous numbers showing interest in the event, the geography of Ibrox and the problems of ensuring that any street procession was deemed illegal within the current legal framework has sadly forced the organisers to reconsider. We will work with the police and others to find the best way for the thousands of Rangers fans who wish to show their feelings a chance to do so safely and in the best of order. We have discussed this with the consortium and they are totally in agreement with the need to delay in order to allow for proper planning to take place. This does not, however, in any way diminish our strength of feeling. We would urge Mr Green to step side.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Good! The Shame will never leave them, old or newco.

Roll on the 4th July till we finally hear what the punishment will be.
Amazingly, we have heard recently from there fans and through the media that they have already been punished severely - as they are 'banned from Europe' for 3 years.
Sorry lads, you are not banned but simply ineligible. The only punishment so far is a measly 10 points deducted from an already hopeless case.
If dual contracts are proved then strip them of the titles. Personally, i would prefer the history books to state 'stripped of title' to forever shame them......kbt1978 {Ed007's Note - The 10 point deduction was for going into administration, it is a standard procedure. Rangers have not received any form of punishment.}

Believable13 Unbelievable1

If the newco are punished then we should be aloud to keep the history and as far as punishment goes there was the fine aswell which obviously won't be paid {Ed007's Note - Well if you want to keep your history how about keeping your debts and paying them?}

Agree0 Disagree0

The punishments (if any) will be attached to the SPL share that the newco will take over in order to be parachuted into the SPL with the share come the punishments but the history is dead they are a Newco with an old SPL share. played 0, lost 0, won 0 no history just shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only punishments were the fines and transfer embargo that were later overturned in court. The punisment I'd geve them is for every person who had a dual contract to stand in the centre circle at Celtic park and take a punch in the balls from Bobo Balde. Then I'd let them play but only in the third division

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed I would very much prefer the club pay its debts but that ain't going to happen as far as a newco I think we should start from division 3 (providing the sfl want us there of course) and also should not be aloud to play in the Scottish cup for three years aswell as Europe think that would be pretty fair

A credit to the country ....All to often I see fans from other clubs slagging what Celtic have to offer their national assoc .Year in year out CFC have been training players from underage up and those that dont meet the grade move on to play for other clubs in Scotland or further afield ...The wealth of Celtic both financally and football related have benifitted lesser clubs as well as the National team for years with littlle thanks..... Hi Ed, first time poster :)

I have been hearing rumours all night that Rangers will be stripped of their league titles from 2003,2005,2009,2010 and 2011! This is obviously unconfirmed, but I am hearing it every where!
Have you heard anything about this?
also, I know you always slag twitter, but who are the best people to follow for up to date rumours.

Cheers fella

sparky88 {Ed007's Note - I don't rely on anything on Twatter, not even things I say! As for the league titles being stripped nobody knows what is going to happen, if they are stripped I hope they are not awarded to the second place team. I would rather the record books showed Rangers were stripped of them than their 'tainted' titles being handed to anyone else.}

Believable6 Unbelievable3

If they are stripped of their tainted titles then it's fair to say that it's beyond doubt that they are guilty!
If so should it not be a case that the financial gains thru merchandising , champions league games,videos ,flags scarfs ect ect ect should all come under the proceeds of crime and should be taken from them as well ? They probably didn't declare it to the tax man anyway. Kidding aside it's scary how far this should go.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you are forgetting something mate... rangers are gone. how can you take money from something which is no longer in existance?

Agree0 Disagree0

By the same token, how can you punish something which no longer exists?

Agree0 Disagree0

You can still delete titles from the history books and just tell a new club that they start from the bottom...

Peter Lawwell has been very quiet throughout the Rangers debacle. Do we know for certain how Celtic will vote regarding the admission of TRFC to the SPL. Given the groundswell of opinion from most Celtic fans that they should be admitted to Div.3, if they accept them, is there any possibilty of a backlash against him if he votes in favour of their inclusion to the SPL? I know he is on record saying that he would do what is in the best interests of the club as well as Scottish football.
Liah Smit

Believable9 Unbelievable1

He's keeping quiet because there is nothing needed to be said at the minute. The governing bodies (up to this point) are addressing all the things they should be, even informing Sally he will be punished
for his outburst which led to SFA panelists receiving threats. He won't say anything unless it is absolutely vital he has to. If he was flapping his gums all he time about what should be happening to Newco then all that would do is incite an already toxic relationship we have with the manky mob. And give them ammo ("Lawwell influencing SFA decisions") and rubbish like that. The man knows what he's doing mate...relax.

Celtic are weighing up an 11th-hour swoop for
Villarreal winger Jefferson Montero. The
Parkhead club have so far been rebuffed in their
attempts to land the Ecuador-born winger from
the recently relegated La Liga club. Mexican
side Monarcas Morelia are believed to have
agreed to pay the £2million the Spanish are
demanding and, unless Celtic quickly revive
their interest, the left-sided player will undergo
a medical before putting pen to paper in the
next 48 hours.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye good work ed but I'll help you keep your feet on the ground...what Happened to Gary Hooper leaving? {Ed007's Note - Is the window closed? Like I said before it happened, Southampton had turned their attention to Rodriguez, the stumbling block with Hooper is the fee CFC are looking for. What happened to him signing a new contract and that he was so desperate to stay.......}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sook? {Ed007's Note - No thanks Pat, I've told you before you are not my type.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He's got 2 years left, whats the problem? and i take my congratulations back then mate going by your reaction to my post which was obviously said in jest you are clearly a pecker. Love the site but i often find myself irked by some of your (ed007's) comments. Suppose we are both Celtic men and we are fighting from the same corner so never mind. I'll not reply to any of your posts again. {Ed007's Note - I won't be losing any sleep over it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Two parts within this story worry me as a fan of Scottish football. Having just read the article Mrs E kindly posted, the fact the word 'renegotiation' (in relation to the current 65m deal as far as I read it) was used within a direct quote and the new 80m (it won't be even remotely close to that now - half at least in my opinion) deal which is due to come into effect in two years time "remains, and is likely to remain, unsigned" (an indirect quote and therefore more than likely sensationalist journalism to be fair) is worrying. They might not 'walk away' (which also made me laugh out loud) but they will only be offering value chicken nuggets instead of a chicken supper (both cheap and bad for you but at least one of them is more often than not semi-palatable, lol). It certainly didn't read as being long term good news to me, either way.
