Ed have u heard anything on Hooper? On main page it says an offer of 8 million has been accepted.
Daz the Hoopy {Ed007's Note - It's news to me. A second bid was turned down last night (Monday), that's as far as anything has went that I know about

Agree1 Disagree5

Ignore that guy, he's a clown.

one minute he knows Hoopers family, now he gets inside info from board members no less!

Agree8 Disagree0

True, u gotta love these "sources" get a grip fbaws

Not a rumour, but as QPR are most likely to buy just about a full new starting 11, what does everyone think of Jamie Mackie. I think he could really do a job for us on the wing or as another striking option!

Believable8 Unbelievable8

Also, Newcastle have just signed a new striker so Leon Best might be worth a punt aswell!

Agree4 Disagree9

Not so sure they'd want to part with him - QPR have an aging strikeforce. Rather than sell Mackie I can see them trying to bring in other strikers, offload deadwood up front and give Mackie a chance seeing as he's only returned from injury a few months ago. Suppose it depends on Mark Hughes' opinion of him though.

are we going to sign diawara? heard he had agreed a deal a while back ( not sure how much truth in that) but know we have first option on him. he top goal scorer at his current club so surely be worth signing

Believable7 Unbelievable7

We dont have first option on him and will take about 6 mil to land him now so its a non starter.

Drew

Agree6 Disagree4

Diawara has signed for Sevilla for a reported 3m

just to end all speculation about jamie vardy concerning celtic and rangers fans:
Fleetwood are in Glasgow training and my dad was speaking to them in the hotel they are staying aat as he is a member of the gym their and jamie vardy said he isnt moving up north because he doesnt want to leave his family and his girlfriend for roughly the same amount of money

Believable2 Unbelievable8

I never buy into all this he told my dad or he told my uncle nonsense, he was in interview saying hes not heard of any offers and if there was you'd have to think of it. So if there has been no offers how would he know he'd be on the same money roughly? Total nonsense

Paddy {Ed007's Note - CFC and Blackpool have had offers rejected by the chairman/owner of Fleetwood Town, they want at least £1 million for Vardy. As you say though wages etc would never have been discussed.}

Agree9 Disagree1

Ed your wrong Celtic haven't made any bid for him yet, there's only been 1 bid of 750,000 from Blackpool for him. We maybe looking at him but he isn't the type of forward we require. {Ed007's Note - I am correct. I think the chairman/owner would know better than you.}

Agree5 Disagree2

I know Blackpool had bid rejected but wasn't sure if we had, but for the eejit with no name wages wouldn't have been mentioned. Hate when people blatantly post crap

Paddy

Agree4 Disagree0

In almost every Transfer in the modern game a brief discussion with the players agent happens to see roughly the wages the player would be after IF the transfer bid is excepted. They had a lengthy discussion about this on the radio during the week. This is not Considerd (tapping) Jim Duffy reiterated this also and said it happens in almost every transfer. so Wages may well have been discussed prior to a bid being made.

Agree1 Disagree2

I actually know Micky Mellon personally, grew up wae him when we were lads and keep in touch that's were I got my information from ed so your onto plumbs, I've looked all over the net on sky and they only say that Blackpool have bid! Don't like being wrong do you sour grapes like the rankers :) {Ed007's Note - I stand by my story. Just because it isn't on the net or sh1te sports news doesn't mean it isn't so. I do not need to tell you who told me, I know I am right. If you believe everything on S*y it shows your knowledge of football matters is not your strong point, I take it you like a gamble? Most people that believe S*y do, that is what their stories are geared towards, getting people gambling. Plus why look all over the net etc, just phone your 'friend' and ask him??}

Agree4 Disagree3

Doesn't matter if wages are mentioned or not anyway, why would he tell some random guy in a gym he wouldn't be coming due to wages? As I said nonsense! If youve no info dont post pi55

Paddy

Agree4 Disagree1

And ed your totally right bout s*y how many times have they slashed odds on Keane or bellamy to rejoin celtic and surprise surprise it never happens

Paddy {Ed007's Note - Cheers Paddy. They done it with Sneijder joining Man Utd on the last transfer deadline day. About 11 a.m. they said they had big news on Sneijder and Man Utd, about 2/3 hours later they announced that the odds of him moving had been slashed, the deal was dead by that time, even Man City baulked at his financial demands. A lot of Utd fans saw the light about them that day. They are just a red top on TV, they have 24 hours of TV to fill and their tie ins with bookmakers to justify. They were even wrong about Nasri joining City, he was having his medical with City and they were reporting he was still in talks with 'clubs'.}

Agree5 Disagree0

S*y is as credible as fox news. misinformation for the masses. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - And who owns Fox News?? I hate them all Jhedi. They are brainwashing us into media hungry, BS following robots.}

Agree4 Disagree0

Its true he isnt joining any team in Scotland or in England, the only club he will be joining is Blackpool as he lives there, yes no wages have been dicussed but he said he would get roughly the same amount here as he would at Fleetwood {Ed007's Note - AAhh welcome back OP. While your dad is at the gym have a wee peek at any maps he has, I have a sneaky suspicion that Blackpool is actually in England, that's just a hunch mind you. You might be getting confused with Paris, they have a big tower as well but that is actually in France, the capital of the country no less.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I meant to say except Blackpool {Ed007's Note - Still doesn't make any sense putting 'except Blackpool' anywhere in your post. For someone who lives in Glasgow you seem to know a lot about Fleetwood Town and Blackpool's finances. Exactly what was your dad doing in the gym to glean this astounding information and learn the intricacies of Blackpool's financial position? Is your mum comfortable with this situation?}

did celtic have a bounce game against spurs today if yes does any1 no how we did {Ed007's Note - It was the development squad down in London. 4-1 to Spurs it finished. Spurs had included the likes Piennaar, dos Santos and Corluka in their team. The CFC team lined up like this, with Lewis Toshney scoring for us:

CELTIC (4-4-2): Thomson; Toshney (Jones), Fraser, Irvine, Blackman (Chalmers); F. Twardzik (Kidd), McGregor, McGeouch, George (Herron); Atajic (Watt), Keatings
Subs not used: Feely

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Not bad considering who they were up against.

Cheers ed thot i read about it some where davie c {Ed007's Note - No probs Davie.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Just checked it out myself he looks as if he could bring a lot to the team in time.

Agree0 Disagree1

I remember watching all the clips of bangera, wow this guys going to be amazing in a Celtic strip...lol.. maybe being a bit harsh on the boy as he hasnt had the best of luck since he arrived, maybe he will prove to be a player yet. Markiebhoy.

CELTIC today snapped up Polish centre-half Jaroslaw Fojut on a pre-contract agreement.

The 24 year-old 6ft 2in stopper, who was at Bolton as a kid, will arrive on a Bosman in the summer from Śląsk Wrocław – unless a deal is struck before the end of the January transfer window to get him in now.

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Is this another triumph for our scouting dept? kept it nice n quiet,impressive! any back up ed? {Ed007's Note - I don't know much about him at all apart from his record etc. He was Bolton's reserve captain and made 4 appearances in their first team. He spent time out on loan at Luton and Stockport before returning to Poland in 2009. I think this could be Majstorovic replacement in the squad for next season.}

Agree4 Disagree4

Well look wot happens wen things are kept quiet keep it up,been sayin that b4 that instead of namin targets keep it hush hush so no 1 knows,stef1967

Agree7 Disagree3

NL has certainly been talking him up. Good technicaly, good tackler, fast, and good in the air. Lol I would say that just about covers it! I hope he's as impressive as he sounds. Markiebhoy.

Agree5 Disagree2

How much will it cost to get him in now?

Agree0 Disagree1

Hi Steph, good to see ur back on the go again, read about the situation ur in really sorry to hear about that. My thoughts r with u during this difficult time as Ed says keep the chin up n just keep doing ur best.
Thanks

Welcome to THE Greatest Club in the World Jaroslaw!

Agree3 Disagree5

......aye he sounds very impressive. Captain of the Bolton reserves eh, must be top drawer.

If Rangers had signed this guy it would have been a case of "scraping the bottom of the barrell".

TTG {Ed007's Note - Rangers have clawed a hole in the bottom of the barrel with scraping it. Australian player of the year ring any bells? His long and illustrious career speaks for itself for a 29 year old.}

Agree7 Disagree5

I've asked a couple of my polish friends on facebook about Fojut.

only one has replied and he says the guys huge, strong in the tackle, wins everything in the air and is pretty fast for his height. he says he's had a few blunders in his time though, but the fans love him

sounds like we're getting another Bobo by the looks of it

Agree4 Disagree1

Rangers supporter,come in peace, you've got a very good player today in fojut.

heard that we are looking at michael uchebo along with rangers hes a big target man and recently had a trial at stoke
davie c

Believable1 Unbelievable5

His scoring record for a striker is dire
sean1888

Agree6 Disagree0

1 goal in 15 , hardly prolific

Agree8 Disagree1

Not good enough for Stoke but good enough for Celtic or rangers!!! Fs!! His record speaks for it's self he's gash!! Hope rangers do us a favour here!!

Agree4 Disagree2

1 goal in 15, is that not better than samaras?

Agree6 Disagree2

Imo target men aren't there to score goals prolificly they are there to win the flicks, high balls, rough up defenders when the wee men are strugglin with presence, i think anyone that size in the spl would cause a few problems. Sean

Rumour going about that Rabiu Ibrahim will undergo a medical on Thursday before completing a move! Heard anything bout this Ed or is it just hearsay?

Bobby {Ed007's Note - He is supposedly being offered a contract.}

Believable15 Unbelievable1

Is that right, good stuff this kid is ment to be a great player. Was hoping we would get him.
CB

Agree1 Disagree1

I spoke to tony watt (under 19's) and he said the boy is different class

Agree1 Disagree1

Yep he's very highly rated according to all accounts, hopefully another scoup just like wanyama,izzy,kayal to name but a few!
Just can't get enough
CB ;)

Heard Bolton would like him on trial.

Awright Ed, iv been keeping my eye on the site and asking a few people who normaly know if we r in the market, to me it doesn't seem like we are going to much if anything in this window.

The only boy iv heard any serious interet being shown in was James vardy, I think we need him. IMO n I said this back in August, we needed a big striker n Bangura was a rash purchase, hope he turns it round but. Ed have u heard about what CF we might be putting a bid in for? If any!

Nickybhoy {Ed007's Note - Fleetwood wand at least £1 million for Vardy. I have a friend that knows their owner/chairman. NL is working to bring in a CF but there is more than one deal being worked on, it depends who he wants most and what player is available etc.}

Ed , that young Nigerian lad Rabiu Ibrahim is about to sign according to his agents twitter .
CelticMatt {Ed007's Note - Is it his real agent Tony Harris? I have heard he will be offered a contract but I'm not sure about this Twatter rumour.}
