Ive have it on good accord that the Paper talk about Paddy McCourt are actually wrong Paddy will be offered a new Deal at Celtic on pay as you play deal. Lenny Feels This suiys both Club and Player as Paddy has asked Lenny to let him remain at the Club he grew up supporting and Let him get his hands on one more SPL Winners Medal!

Believable6 Unbelievable30

If he is on pay as you play he will end up owing the club money. DH

Agree1 Disagree0

Its all over the celtic fb pages that he's away after the cup final if he kept fully fit with less injuries i'd be happy keepin him as an impact player but surely he would want to leave for regular football

Aaaaaa brilliant, if true (very doubtfull) it'll be up there with some of the clubs decisions on loan deals! Paddy knows he will get a constant wage elsewhere and wouldn't risk pay as u play deal and I hope he goes too!

Paddy has been a disappointment, let him leave, rather see one of the youths promoted to first team squad to gain experience.

Agree2 Disagree1

It's a shame it didn't work out for paddy, he's a nice guy. I met him at Belfast airport this time last year, 16 of us coming back from a golfing wknd. He sat with us and had photos taken in the departure lounge nothing was a problem for him. Hope he finds a club and stays injury free.

Agree2 Disagree0

He should have been gone 3 years ago! Waste of spot and wages, has talent but dosent live up to it and is nowhere near good enough for Celtic. A youth player would be better off and that's an u17 player lol

Agree1 Disagree1

Is that you Paddy? Lol. Worst celtic player in a generation. Completely useless. Neilbhoy.

Agree1 Disagree1

If it was a choice between Paddy and some of the loan signings I would take Paddy any day of the week. His heart is in the club and with the fans. I do wish fans would think more like fans as sometimes some fans appear to act like psuedo bean counters. You know the phrase, the cost of everything and the value of nothing. Paddy is a talented football player, not a robot and yes he has his human weaknesses but he is a great lad who loves the club and even in this day and age it should mean something. Sopotcelt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive stated before, I'm a Paddy fan and I'm a Celtic fan but I'm not a Paddy and Celtic fan. He is genuine a good lad who often sorts out tickets for local lads, me included. I think maybe a wee spell in MLS would suit him, nice cosmopolitan style of football and the likeability factor, he'd be a hit. Hope all works out for him. TTTS

Agree0 Disagree1

We have no need for Paddy McCourt, one trick pony with no pace and would not get in to our starting 11 on a good day. Free up the wage and let him continue his career elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

The sooner he's off the better, I've said it before I'd rather have kept McGinn.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a bit disappointed by this anti-Paddy stuff. Yes he has never lived up to the potential but injuries and lack of chances have had a hand in that. I was at Fir Park last season when we were a goal down and he came off the bench and changed the game. Set up 2 goals and we won the match. Just one example of what his low (relatively speaking) wages have been worth. How many of the "duds" have changed games to his extent?

Heard we have been linked with hutchison from motherwell don't know to much about him as I have only seen him a couple of times. My older brother is a motherwell fan and rates him but is he celtic class. Has anyone else heard about this and what do you think of him? Davie c

Believable4 Unbelievable20

Robust, effective at SPL level, physically strong, not afraid to stick the boot in. Has been at Motherwell for a good few seasons now (5 years or so). Seemingly when they signed him, it was from under the noses of 2 or 3 reputable english teams. Celtic class? I would say he is unlikely to add real value if we are looking to make an impact in europe. As a 'cheap' spl option? maybe. but I feel we should be aiming higher. Jean-Pierre Laguerre

Agree0 Disagree0

Always liked this lad. Seems to play well against us, but then so do many. Not too sure if he is better than what we have.

Agree1 Disagree0

Decent player, really solid but can be rash also! Doubtfull, but its SPL so tried and tested, depends on the clubs ambition in Europe?

Bigbadjohn

Agree0 Disagree0

Forsters decent but a bit to imobile for me, Bring back the cat! Get Boruc home!

Looking at Hartrtlepools young 19 Defender/Defensive Midfielder Jack Baldwin, John Hughes reckons if this guy had been fit for the whole seaon they may have stayed up and has raved about him to our scouting staff,

the only player to make the Nothern Echo's, North East team of the year from outside the PL

believed to be one for the future,

It's getting to the end of the season, and inevitably we eill be linked with a lot of players. Some dud, some decent, some unrealistic. WHich 3 players would you sign, realistically, for us for next season.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

I'd go for Matthew upson, Charlie Austin and mackay-stephen

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love alf or austin but hearin austin's misses is home sick and wants 2 move down south so looks like that could be a no go and a doubt nigel adkins would sell alf unless the player wanted 2 leave everyone says rhodes but really don't see that ever happening now tbh still need a commanding cb a like the look of big wes morgan from leicester and with them missin out on the play off final we could have a chance dunno how anyone else feels about him though

GunnieBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd want 5 players given the amount leaving:
Dunne
Tonev
Mackay Stephens
Russell
Austin

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree we need a big, stong warrior like centre half.

The boy at Leicester isn't a bad shout.

I loved the old Bobo, Joos and Johan back three back in the day - no nonsense lads that would batter someone.

Remember Balde away at Celta Vigo on the road to Seville ;) awesome.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if Lee Griffiths could screw the nut he could be a great signing for us, what I like about him is he scores all kind of goals. Remember our captain was once a hot head who played for hibs. He soon changed his ways when he new what its all about to play for Celtic. I do like McKay - Steven. Is he better that a fully fit James Forrest? I'm not sure about who we should sign for centre half, think we do still need to sign a big centre forward to mix things up aswell Ian L

Agree1 Disagree0

Messi, Ronaldo & Neymar or if we can't get them Makay-Stevens, Richmond Boakye & Alberto Masi both juve but not near the first team yet. Both outstanding talents

Agree0 Disagree0

Should have added IF Hooper was to stay, there would be no need for Griffiths or Russell to sign for Celtic. A physical centre forward is what we require. Ian L
