Reports coming from Yorkshire that Celtic have signed 19 year old Liam Shaw on a Pre- contract and he will join Celtic in the summer.

Ya saw that new too buzz. Would think Celtic will have to shop closer to home now with the UK outside of Europe now.

I spoke to my friend who is a Wednesday fan and said shaw is a very good player and he's gutted he's going.

Ter, I think I’ve read on here recently from someone else that we will be doing our shopping in the uk now due to brexit . I’m not being funny but why should it matter? It never seemed to bother bayer or Marseille when they recently took two players from us . Generally we can’t afford players from the championship let alone the prem so are we presumably going to be looking at league 1. That is downsizing on a massive scale.
Surely there is better value in the Scandinavian market or Eastern European than lower league of England . Is it purely more paperwork that needs to be done to acknowledge these signings? Maybe someone on here knows a bit more on this . ðŸ‘.
{Ed002's Note - Without reading what you have seen I can only assume it is related to the changes to the Work Permit rules where players from the European Union will need to meet the same criteria as players from Africa or South America. That drives the market to more experienced and therefore more expensive overseas players or the scouts having to look within the UK for players.}

I live in Sheffield and all the Wednesday fans I know rave about him. Plays regularly for them atm.
