Am I right to assume that as Celtic are going for Pukki then it means our interest in Finnbogason is over?
Or is it a bit of a smokescreen in the hope that Heerenveen might think we've moved on and then accept the offer we made previously?
Lenny has now openly said he's chasing Pukki but he isn't saying that about Alfie.
And speaking of Alfie, a different one, I thought we might have pursued Adam Le Fondre a bit more.

Hmm, I can't see us buying them both. I think pukki is interesting boerightter and him could swap positions as they play wide and can play striker, would refer Finnabogan though

Absolutely gutted if that's out replacement for hooper guys scoring record isn't great and that's me being kind. Still options outside finnbogasson, I'd love guidetti, vossen, hossiner. They're all available so why not make a move?

Pukki looks not bad! would be happy with him. Finnbogason however, just looks that bit better and has the exact same qualities as hooper. Hope we get Finnbogason but Pukki will do the job too i'm sure.

Is Boerrigter or Van Dijk fit to play tomorrow?

Is that no a bit risky ed? Being ft and match fit are two different things

SOS BHOY {Ed007's Note - I don't think it's much of a risk with Boerrigter it was only a knock and he has had a decent rest. I think it would be a risk playing Van Dijk although the club know better than me his fitness level.}

We can have absolutely no excuses with any of the upcoming games. I nearly fell off my chair when I heard Neil Lennon saying the games in midweek were a disaster for us-we can't have it both ways, he's sold half our team without replacing them. We've got millions in the bank but are freaking out about the Scotland, England game-unbelievable. If we had behaved responsibly and brought in players(that are badly needed) we could have rested Brown & Forrest tomorrow without worrying. Also Forrest is far from the finished article and shouldn't be an automatic first pick for Celtic, I quite like bits of his game, but he's not as good as Lenny makes out. We need at least 3/4 new top drawer players, I am totally exasperated with what is going on at our club! Paul

Forrest gets it tight but he's a young laddie. he has electric pace, great close control and an eye for goal. a fit Forrest is an asset to the team. and still learning his trade.

Ed . Any info on the injury list Rogic, Van Dyk and Derk . Van Dyk is a strange one, he's hardly kicked a ball for us . DH {Ed007's Note -Amido is a bit of doubt for tomorrow as is Stokes, Forrest, Brown, Rogic, Lustig and Ambrose. Van Dijk and Boerrigter could be back for Tuesday.}

I think we might see a team not too dissimilar to the one who played Liverpool last week.
They should be more than capable of taking on the sheep worriers!

Van Dijk injury is not strange at all. he was shooting from the edge of the box and the big dirty person ******* defender went over the ball with his studs showing. it was better suited to a move by Bolo Yueng in Bloodsport. IMO the best signing we have made this window.

Neil Lennon admitted at his press conference that he is keen to bring in Teemu Pukki from Schalke 04 before Monday's Champions League deadline. If the Finnish international were to sign before then, he would be available to play in the second leg against Shakhter Karagandy.

If we sign him before monday he will be able to play in both legs, not just the 2nd leg, that's why we need to sign him before the deadline, so he can play in the ties.

No one signed now will be able to make the trip and play in the first leg as it takes 5 working days to process a VISA to gain entry to Kazakstan. NL also stated that Pukki signing would not end interest in Finnbogason stating "we may bring in both"

Get real Al geri, when was the last time Celtic went public on a player we really want? don't be surprised if an as yet unnamed player is the one we actually sign, not any of the ones the press has gotten hold off(smoke and mirrors we do our deals in private)

We have made great coin on guys we hadn't even heard of. Everyone chill out. I believe in Lenny, JP and Pistol.

They have got us this far, fair enough it would be good to have more players in but we really should beat these guys with what we got, then I think people will line up to sign for us.

Champs league footy is our biggest selling point. We are world famous but if it was a choice of SPFL and Europa League or EPL with no Europe think most players would go with the 2nd option.

Does anyone know what the score is for next season in terms of the amount of qualifiers etc? How far away are we from getting auto qualification?

We have been lucky and made great coin lately, but a lot has been wasted on duds as well. Porto sell ther best players every yr but always have quality lined up we must have players lined up to replace ones we sell and quality.then a believe we can actualy go far again in cl.
