Jorge Benguche - Plays for Olimpia in the Honduran A division.

This name has popped up, looks like a decent player. Shows up a lot and scores goals from the videos/ stats I've looked at so far. Big strong and fast. Decent finisher as-well, very much a Dembele style player. Not sure how good the Honduran league is but I know that CD Olimpia are holding there own in the CONCACAF quarter finals. Beating Seattle Sounders 4-2 on aggregate. Seattle were second in the MLS Western Conference 18/ 19.

I reckon since Emilio was Honduran they'll just be using Celtic as a stepping stone to stir up interest. But I think he would be a signing that is worth taking a chance on, Bayo seems like he needs a loan/ permanent move. Not sure how Klimala will fit in but I don't see him making much progress? Maybe a pre season will do them good.

We need a replacement for Eddy eventually. Will it be Big Benguche?

Looks like a proper number 9 decent in the air and as you say strong and quick. Possible Bayo replacement and not Edouards. Read someone comparing his style to Benzema lol.

I seen that too when I was trying to pull some information in for him. Maybe Bayo will end up at Galatasary with Drogba?

Two names I'd like to see mentioned with us, cyle larin and landry dimata.

Both strong and powerful, especially larin, signed for besiktas from orlando 2 years ago and struggled for form, currently on loan in Belgium but reportedly available for 3m, could be a cracking buy and I reckon lenny could get the best out of him.

With bayo and klimala here aswell though I doubt we'll make a signing unless edouard is sold.

we were linked with larin a few times mark when he was at orlando he's a good player i went to an orlando game a few years ago and he was bullying the centre halfs good left foot if i remember right, read an article not sure where think lennon is expecting big things from klimala this season maybe he was starting to show good things in training before season got cut short.

Yeah I remember us being mentioned with him at the time Liam, just think he could possibly be that powerful target man we've been looking for.
Think klimala will come into a game next season I really do, the boy looks sharp and now that he's bedded in hopefully he'll start the new season in the managers plans and keep griff on his toes.

There’s rumours that Edouard could leave Celtic this summer for £35 million.
I would probably be too hard for Celtic to knock that kind of transfer fee back, if Eddy doesn’t sign a contract extension.

The business model Celtic have followed during our 9 In A Row has worked for us.
If a big offer comes in for one of our superstars, we sell and we move on.
I would still love for Eddy to stay because he is a special player and the fact he wants to stay and make history, is another added bonus.

But if he wants to stay, he will need to sign a contract extension.
If that happens then everyone is a winner including the supporters because Eddy will help secure 10 In A Row.

The problem we have with all our top players is that we have turned into a nursery for the bigger clubs. It would be fabulous to keep them all but there needs to be a conveyor belt system so we can maintain our current business model of buy cheap, sell high. We are doing better now with the Development Squad in terms of nursing them and preparing them for the first team. The other issue we have is that if we keep our top players they'll be too good for the league we're in and they will become bored and their values will probably drop.

If Edouard and Ajer goes then the club has done its job and we move on to other projects, because in reality, that's what they are.

Even though I believe edouard is worth 30m plus in an ordinary market, I can't see us getting offered that anytime soon with the way the current market is and clubs less likely to spend as much.
It's either we get a good offer this summer and he leaves, or he signs a new deal with an agreement to leave next summer if a good offer comes in.
The one thing we can't allow is for him to stay and leave next summer when he has a year left on his deal, chances are we won't get anywhere near his true market value then.
Would love for us to get a big offer for ajer and use it to buy forster and bring in another centre half for a fraction of the price.

If he signs a new deal with the promise we will do business if a big offer comes in.

Stories saying Leicester want to sell Iheanacho for £20m to fund a £35m move. If they can get £20m for that donkey then surely we can get £35m for Edouard.

Let's just be thankful that we have been blessed with really good strikers in the past few years. We went through a stage of having some stinkers.

He cost 9million plus PSG probably have a sell on % so Pedro will be looking for more.

As I mentioned yesterday, we have invariably sold a star player (or two) every summer for years now and it will happen this 'window'.
Obviously it disrupts the manager's team-building and the support see us losing quality but the club relies on this cash injection due to uncertainty of CL progress and the meagre SLY TV £ allocation.
Fortunately, we still have the best squad in the country and NL will have plans to add and improve us even more; plus, we have adapted to this 'business plan' very successfully for the last 9 years.
Most star players that leave have nothing but praise for the club and appreciate what we have done for them and that is good PR as well.
