hi ed,first time on.seen on ssn website that bellamy in glasgow.could it be that hes going to celtic? {Ed007's Note - No idea, but it will be a bit of a wait for him at this time, everywhere will be locked up for the night. 1st time poster? You do know we see posters IP numbers don't you? Is Bellamy, Cuellar, Nacho Novo and Gattuso all in the same hotel as Bellamy?}

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Gotta laugh at these posters ed, they flash through and dont read that you know ip's.
get a grip dumbass and admit its just banter {Ed007's Note - I can also turn on their webcams if they have one ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Fook, dont turn mine on, im wearin nothin but quavers lol {Ed007's Note - The mind boggles!!! Each to their own, I prefer Moneypenny in more traditional lingerie but what ever floats your boat! *freak*}

hopefully we sell paddy if liverpool are interested if anyone offered 1 mil for him youd bite the hand of for him hes pish dont see the big attraction to him. fair anuff hes scored a few good solo goals but can he do it on the big stage nope he cant

Believable9 Unbelievable14

Couldnt agree more mate if liverpool offered 1m, id personally carry him on ma back aw the way tae anfield dont understand why celtic have kept him on for so long, its embarrassing Hes never been celtic class

Agree0 Disagree0

He could be a good impact player coming off the bench but he needs to work on his fitness.He runs like he smokes 80 a day.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh? Paddy is our best player He never gets proper chance. Do you eejits not remember he was the best player on the park when we beat Rangers last season when big Sammi scored two?

Agree0 Disagree0

Paddy has never really been given a chance its the same with the boy rasmussen maybe he will get his chance now hoops out for a few weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye n as you said, Sammy scored 2 that day. Still doesnt make him our bedt striker. OP is right, take any money we can for dead weight. And to be fair there is a few on that list

Agree0 Disagree0

Do ye rember he was the best player the day we beat rangers ..eejit..he's sooo overrated sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

whats the latest on paddy mccourt, im not criticising paddy but why are liverpool wanting him? maybe if he was 22 and had a lot more to offer.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Rangers fan here (boo hiss) Quick question about Paddy McCourt, why doesnt he get played much? He's old school and a joy to watch (most times) {Ed007's Note - Welcome mate, Rangers fans are always welcome here as long as they have a working brain cell, enjoy a laugh or partake in a serious discussion (prerequisite of all sites).

Agree0 Disagree0

They did buy charlie adam for 9m so why not paddy mccourt for 5m

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers fan here Paddy McCourt 5million ur having a luagh he cant last 90minutes got bags of talent but stamina of a 60 year old

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh cmon man Adam is a good player not the fastest but good all the same mccoort is sooo inconsistant it's untrue,a guy on another rumour said do ye remember against rangers once upon a time..if an offer comes in take it....too many players that offer same sort of style but more consistant and they actually look interested...

FIFA and UEFA stepped into the row concerning Sion, they are telling the club to adhere to the rule about not playing the recently signed players. {Ed007's Note - Sion won their case against FIFA after a court ruled the governing body's transfer embargo on the club was illegal. The 6 players in question all made their debuts in the 1-1 draw with Lucerne.}

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Fifa have again stepped in though and said they should not have played at the weekend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed check the BBC Sport web page and see what you make of it {Ed007's Note - I will get Ed002 to look at this, she is best to comment on that sort of stuff, I will leave her a message.}

Agree0 Disagree0

But Fifa have tried to say that they are an internal association and Civil cases should not be used against Fifa or their member association. Fifa are looking to kick Sion from Uefa cup if they field any of the six newly signed players. If the Swiss Fa do not back FIFa then they could be disqualified from UEFA and FIFA tournaments. Looks like fifa trying to be bigger than the law again. This is surely going to rumble on. More trips to court for the Sion solicitors.

Agree0 Disagree0

How much do you bet that UEFA really want Celtic to win that tie. Perhaps we could get a referee in our favour..... :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not completely up to scratch on the situation, but was it not the swiss courts who overturned the decision?

so the decision would only stand in the swiss domestic league.

i would have thought uefa would have the final say when it comes to the europa

Is there any truth in the Tomasz Kuszczak rumour Ed? Also any news on a striker? cheers {Ed007's Note - If Kuszczak leaves Man Utd it will be for money I would Imagine.}

i think we should go for david templeton he is a celtic fan and a good player
would fit in good on the right with commons on the left ?

Believable19 Unbelievable10

Said away last season we should sign this kid Hearts awkward to deal with but if right money offered we could have had him

Agree0 Disagree0

He has alredy declared his desire to stay at gorgie and show his worth plus being a fan of the club means nothing remember liam miller

Agree0 Disagree0

David "Cooper" Templeton is a rangers fan failed {Ed007's Note - He isn't, his dad was hence the middle name, we are NOT getting into that again.}

Agree0 Disagree0

David Templeton plays on the left aswell. We have mccourt sitting on the bench and he's far better.

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

McCourt can play left right or mid, as can commons so it wouldn't rule out templeton Arguments for both players tho.

Big Bad John

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares if hes a celtic fan or not? that should never be a reason to sign a player. do u think larsson was a celtic before he signed?? statement is absolute nonsense. we could also aim higher than templeton

Agree0 Disagree0

James Forrest is as good if not better than Templeton.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he is a lot better than forrest but knowing hearts they would want at least 3 mil like they did with driver, Prob end up in england in jan I ould think

Agree0 Disagree0

see a lot of post on here about Adam Le Fondre and ppl saying celtic should be or are interested in him with a 400k price tag so why on the main rumours site are watford rumoured to be interested for 250k(Adam Le Fondre) i know celtic made a slight profit but why pay 150k more than a rotten english side yet the english come up here and try and grab players for next to nothing HH {Ed007's Note - ALF is worth more than 250k.}

Believable2 Unbelievable11

So what is Watford are interested at 250k. Doesn't mean the bid will be accepted.

Agree0 Disagree0

What i was meaning is if watford are thinking 250k why would celtic pay almost double

Robbie Keane confirmed by SSN has signed for LA Galaxy so can we put this rumour to bed {Ed007's Note - In the words of the great Homer J Simpson "WHOO HOO!"

Believable17 Unbelievable2

That confirms everything I thought about Keane, Loves to kiss badges and play for the 'teams he supported as a boy'........as long as they pay him a fortune how long will it bebefore we hear that LA Galaxy was the only team he ever wanted to play for. Football mercenary

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the best news I have had in ages .

hail hail

Marco1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Supposedly said he always wanted to play in the MLS aye nae bother. his patter sounds a bit like that tadger Mo Johnston

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, is that the same Homer J Simpson that's a tim?
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - He isn't the only one in the show Ben, Mr Burns was modelled on Fergus McCann! Matt Groening is a big CFC fan ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Future Robbie Keane quote "Im so glad to be joining LA Galaxy, its great to finally join the club I supported as a boy"

Agree0 Disagree0

Indeed he must be ed. In the Episode where they have the pub in Ireland, there's a fella in a Celtic top who you would swear was modelled on me. Makes me chuckle every time I see it.
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - Youtube "Is Matt Groening a Celtic Fan, you can see badges in clips etc.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye. That's the episode. I remember when I 1st saw it. Jaw wide open, chuffed to bits. Groening is definitely a leftie though. Hope he rips keane now he's at "the galaxy"
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god, now all we need is Bellamy to bugger off somewhere and we can get back to using our scouting system thats uncovered millions of pounds worth of players for very little outlay. Hail Hail

Gary Hooper definately out for thursday.

Celtic website: "FOLLOWING a scan today, the club can confirm that Gary Hooper has a sprained ankle and could potentially be out for a few weeks.
The striker was injured during Saturday's 5-1 SPL victory over Dundee United at Celtic Park. And he'll miss the Hoops' Europa League play-off against FC Sion this Thursday."

Heres hoping Samaras doesn't get the nod on thursday night.

Ross

Believable14 Unbelievable1

Hope he doesn't but I think we all know he will :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Who else you gonna play instead of him? Maloney? Murphy? Samaras is our only option

Agree0 Disagree0

Murphy. Not had a chance to prove himself and lets be honest,he can't be any worse the sammy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Play Stokes through the middle with Paddy just behind him, work the wings with Forrest, its 3 up front, that means 3 at the back with Broonie and Ledley helping at the back or pushing forward as needs be. Second half go to conventional back 4. by then we will be 5 up. Job done....or 2-0 doon of course :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Give Rasmussen a chance,more of a goalscorer than Samaras and Murphy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Zaluska;Wilson,Majstorovic,K.Wilson,Mulgrew;Brown,Ki,Ledley,Commons;Stokes,Samaras 7 Subs - Cervi,Matthews,Forrest,Wanyama,Maloney,McCourt,Murphy

Agree0 Disagree0

If not samaras who do you choose not much left to go on

Agree0 Disagree0

Has anybody thought that Lenny might play sammy up front on his own? Which is probs best position?? Lenny already stated he can't afford to play expansive attacking football due to dodgy deffence Later in game possibly but has to b weary early doors

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to think that Big Ras will get a chance... but I can't see Lenny throwing him in in Europe?

Evening all, ed have you heard anything regarding Hooper? i have been told it is not as serious as first thought and he should be available for Thursday but not from a great sourc? Also have you heard anything about the young boy Feruz? Apparently 99% going to CHelsea who are going to give him £2500 a week plus get his family a home in London. {Ed007's Note - I've not heard anything about Hoopers injury yet apart from the usual rumours, sorry. It does look like Feruz could be leaving, Man Utd and Man City are also interested in him, although all youth players have signed pre contracts with the club so I am not 100% sure the legality (as in payment etc) of it all. I might be wrong but, but it is a bit like Pique going to Utd and Fabregas going to Arsenal when they were younger.}

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Update on Official CFC website has confirmed that Hooper has sprained his ankle and could be out for a few weeks, he will miss the game on Thursday. Big Sammi will get a chance to prove his worth.........maybe

Agree0 Disagree0

Maloney deserves his chance before Sammy given his performance coming off the bench on Saturday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maloney in his place - Sammy has had more than enough chances.

Just seen that Odemwingie is looking to leave West Brom, due to interest from Wigan and Newcastle. Im not saying we would get him but surely with previous bids being only 1.5 mil we must try what we can to try gain his services, great player and maybe with the addition of a good keeper we have the team we need to do well in Europe.

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Rubbish player but maybe looks rubbish in a rubbish team but then again arsenal were sniffing about, 10mill I heard so that puts us rite out the picture Heard a rumour we were looking at roman bednar who I think would b better suited

Big Bad John

Agree0 Disagree0

That's ridiculous, Odemwingie is rubbish, yet you want Bednar?

Odemwingie (it could be argued) saved West Brom with his goals last season... Bednar did not.

Hi ed good to see you back. What do you know about this mo guy we have on trial? I think Lenny should forget about Bellamy and go for keane. Spurs agree a deal for £3.5 million with La Galaxy but I don't know if it went through. Surely keane would be worth a chance at 3.5 million I know wages might be a problem. I was also thinking if he did sign for galaxy could we take him on loan like beckham went to milan and Donovan went to everton when season was over in the states?Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - Thanks BIM. I really don't know much about Idrissou, sorry. As for Keane, the move to the USA could be exactly what he needs.}

Believable0 Unbelievable10

Am I the only Celtic fan who is sick of hearing about Keane and Bellamy? These are not the type of players we need Keane is a money grabber and had no affinty with the Bhoys. Always has and always will be an average, overated player. {Ed007's Note - No mate, you are most definitely not. As a site rule all the regulars agreed any BS rumours about them will not be posted i.e. "Keano in Glasgow for a medical" " Bellamy has said he wants to come back but money is the problem". It just clogs the pages up with garbage, it is fair enough to discuss the players but in the same way others are discussed.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers mate I was starting to think i was only one haha. Keane done nothing against the darkside and about 8 of his 16 goals were penaltys. He did score a hat trick against Falkirk,but by god i could do that against Tam Scobbie haha {Ed007's Note - I would prefer 10 good posts discussing CFC than have 1000 BS ones, we already have Google accreditation so we do not need "cheap hits"}

Fulham have joined Liverpool in race to sign Gary hooper..possible 2.5 mill switch....

Believable0 Unbelievable25

Why would we sell him for 2.5 million when we signed him for 2.4 million . Go away back to the shame page.

hail hail

Marco1888

Agree0 Disagree0

2.5m? What... per month. Ridiculous, Hooper is worth a minimum of 5m. He is 23 years old, involved in the england set up and is a proven goalscorer. We don't need to sell our best assets.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha we paid roughly 2.4m so why on earth would we accept 2.5m, go back to the darkside and spout your rubbish. 2.5m good 1.

Paddy

Agree0 Disagree0

IAM A RANGERS FAN JUST BROWSING , 2.5 MILL FOR HOOPER MORE LIKE 7 OR 8 MILL GUYS,CHEERS ENJOY THE SEASON. {Ed007's Note - Cheers mate, you are always welcome here but can you stop with the CAPS please.}

Celtic are set to make a move for Feyenoord winger Diego Biseswar. Looks like Mccourts days are numbered Granto {Ed007's Note - I mentioned Diego "Diogs" Biseswar as possible target weeks ago.}

Believable9 Unbelievable14

By any chance did u post this very same rumour on the rangers site, as the exact same rumour is on there page lol, don't knw if u trying to stir up or anything lol

Cumby Bhoy {Ed007's Note - Good afternoon Cumby}

Agree0 Disagree0

Both posts are signed by the same guy, are you mental

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you get him cause apart from decent free kick ability he's no better than Maloney for instance. 2 million would be better spent on a keeper imo

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky Sports linked him with the monkies last week so we'll probably hear the usual cries of "stealing their players" blah blah even though we were linked with him back in June.
Kevbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think both the old firm will be linked with most of the same players as agents try to tout players to both clubs ....bigtrfc {Ed007's Note - Well done BigT, you have seen the bigger picture. It is not about CFC stealing Rangers targets or vice versa. Interest from other clubs is sparked when a player is 'linked' with either of our clubs or both.}

gordon on way injuries taking drop in pay because of injuries

Believable18 Unbelievable8

Why would gordon take a drop in wages ? he is under contract and back in training this week. celtic are looking to bring him in on a loan deal but his wages could be a stumbling block.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard he is surplus to requirements and so is available for 2.5 million. Happ to drop wages to fit in with Celtics wage structure to get career going again. This is the real reason we never signed Polish lad

Agree0 Disagree0

I gree i have heard he might be available for about 2.5m but he is on 40,000 a week but i dont think he would take a pay drop because of injuries but like you say he is down in the pecking order at sunderland and may want first team football. i did hear that celtic never signed the polish lad because 2 better options had come up but the strongest rumour i have heard so far is a loan deal for gordon but its a bit far from being on his way.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's like 28 if wasn't for recent injuries would be Scotland no1...maybeget him for2.5mil(highly unlikely)takes a drop in wages no chance.we penny pinched with polish boy.Gordon is one of best goalkeepers around when fit....not a chance... {Ed007's Note - He is out of contract next summer and will be 3rd choice at Sunderland this season I would imagine.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordon is only under contract till nxt summer, can sign a pre contract in jan, so do Sunderland sell and make a liitle bit back or hold on and lose for nothing?? Gordon has to b no1 at whatever club he goes to to regain a Scotland place, hopefully the hoops

Anyone think we should try young keatings, tall lad, decent player (from what i have seen)

Believable18 Unbelievable7

You obviously haven't seen Keatings if you think he is tall, he is about 5'9 at most, anyway he got a bad injury at the end of last season and probably won't be back until closer to the end of the year but hopefully should get some playing time with the first team this season

Agree0 Disagree0

I seen him in a U19s scotland game, and if i remember rightly he was 6'2

financial results good and will only get better if we qualify for the groups. so i think celtic shouldn't allow ki go for less than £15m and mccourt for less than £3m. its the only way english clubs will stop taking the piss out of scottish ones and we arent too desperate for their money now. look at jordan henderson hes not any better than ki but is worth £20m??

Believable38 Unbelievable2

I totally agree with what you are saying. Scottish based players are worth far more than what epl clubs actually pay for them. The reason being that epl clubs know there is no money in our league and it is a buyers market. Charlie Adam, Steven Fletcher, Stan Petrov, Stephen Crainey, Ross McCormack and probably loads more have done well in England and are worth more now than they were bought for.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like most, the SPL is just a feeder league for the EPL. While the chairmen at Scottish clubs continue to take these offers, we always will be Our players are worth less because they are not proven at EPL level and their players are worth more because the clubs are loaded and don't need to lose their best players unless it's a huge bid. Blame Sky... {Ed007's Note - Well it's better than blaming NL for everything, at least Rupert Murdoch warrants all the disdain aimed towards him.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with both posts, for some reason players arent worth big bucks until they play in bigger leagues, kinda fecked up bu true, johnny

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2011 13:32:13
McCourt is a player with great ability and can score great goals, theres no doubt about it But in terms of consitency he lets himself down thats why i would consider any bid near the 2/3 million region, to fund a move for a goalkeeper and a target man ?

Lets stop the we HAVE to sell
to buy nonesense from I'm sure the
non Celtic supporters on the forum
Have you seen our financial results
posted today. Yes turnover is down
due to lack of European football BUT
our debt is now £500k...
Now I want more than anyone to see
a GK, CB and Striker in but if and when
things do turn round we will have a
club that's able to spend our profits
on recruiting quality players I still
think we have some business to do
before the end of the window...let's
hope a good result on Thursday gives us
a bit of a springboard HH

Believable18 Unbelievable2

Yeah from the sale of mcgeady that has balanced books but we still can't have high profile players big wages WHY because you ain't gonnae make profit from spl only.and unless we have good run in Europa and win league we will still be waiting for big signings.it's like Gordon great keeper but 40k a week just to play in spl.isn't going to happen....We've had a bit of luck in regards to some of players we have signed recently...

Well bloody said man 100% spot on we deserve our money used wisely

Hi, first time poster. Read this morning that Spurs have accepted a bid of 1.8m for Keane, I know people are sick of the posts about Keane, Bellamy etc.. I am too but he's a proven goalscorer, which we're looking for so why couldn't we have bid that? Gordon is also back on the radar so hopefully the goalkeeper situation can be sorted soon.. KT {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site KT.}

Believable6 Unbelievable5

I think 1.8M for Keane is good value for money. If they'd had wanted that last season we'd have given them it.

The problem is wage demands but again if he'll slash his wages to the 25-30k per week mark he might be worth putting a bid in for...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, I know the wages would be a problem but if the club was really his boyhood heroes he would take the pay cut like any other supporter would

Agree0 Disagree0

He wont slash his wages the bid being accepted is not up to him his wages are

Agree0 Disagree0

But if the club was really his boyhood heroes he would take the pay cut like any other supporter would

why should he? a footbaler is a very short career so they have to get the most they can out of it

Agree0 Disagree0

Robbie Keane is nothing more than a football mercenary with being his sole focus. Still at the peak of his carrer and moving to MLS tells us all we need to know ( if he does sign ) Keane would have been a great signing but looks like a big payday is all he's after, shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

La galaxy are putting him on huge wages though which we cant afford

Gordon deal won't happen he's on 40k a week,Liverpool are interested In hooper(awaiting medical)and only hooper back up striker,McCourt being chased by wolves,Blackpool and while those 2 look likely to happen lenny wants to hang on to ki who is probably attracting even more interest..WE HAVE TO SELL B4 WE CAN BUY... Goalkeeper required...

Believable3 Unbelievable22

Have a look at the end of year figures, debt all but wiped out - so you are talking pash There is no need to sell before we can buy. I smell an orc on the wind uo - away back to your own board

Is the Carlo Cudicini rumour true?

Believable5 Unbelievable16

Do we really want a 38 year old keeper Celtics transfer policy is a joke this season we have some 31 year old striker on trail this week. He's 31 and never done much can't be up to much What do you think Ed? None of these boys we have had on trail seem up to much Can't we just go and scout young up and coming players or players playing in a worst league than our that would love to come to a massive club like Celtic Ed?

Gazcfc21 {Ed007's Note - Totally in agreement with you Gaz, 100%}

Agree0 Disagree0

Naw it aint an we aint a big club when it comes to transfers anymore why do people still say that ??

Agree0 Disagree0

We may not be able to match wages but how can you possibly say we arent a big club when it comes to transfers. joe ledley last season is a big example. the lure of celtic will always be big when it comes to transfers. its no doubt what neil lennon and previous managers use to get players to celtic. the fact that we are a big club

Ed007 papers are full of McCourt going to Liverpool, blackpool, are there any truth in these rumours>
Also teams looking at KI. My opinion is if we get decent offer for paddy let himgo as he is only a bit player at parkhead. KI has come on leaps and bounds and seems to have adjusted well to british football, but again any offer over £8m I would take.
Hope rumours about Gordon are also correct. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - There is more of a chance of Blackpool coming in for him IMO.}

Believable10 Unbelievable6

Mcourt is not good enough for liverpool and we should accept anything over 5m for ki

Cudicini is supposed to be talking to Celtic today after a fee was agreed with Spurs. Cudicini's agent put it on twitter this morning or late last night but I dont know if it is true. I agree that if good money comes in for players then we have to take it. We need to get Champions League football if we dont want to sell out best players all the time. Time for Celtics scouts to uncover more hidden gems. They've found a fair few already.

Gordons on 40k a week...even if we sell ok great keeper but 40k a week in spl cmon maybe big maybe if we were in Europe cmon guys ffs pure bs....

Hi ed this might sound wierd but i think NL should take a look a daniel larsson he's a fast player from what i've seem plus he's already netted against s#%* wat do u think? {Ed007's Note - You must have seen more of him than me. I would hope that scoring against Rangers is not the only criteria to meet to warrant being brought in, that would be feeble.}

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Scoreing against THEM should not be a reason to sign someone. If you look at his full game he is not good enough for Celtic, no better than we alrady have.

Keep seeing Erik Huseklepp name being quoted. Why sign a striker who has only managed 2 goals in 14 appearances for Bari? hes not the answer and i hope Portsmouth sign him

mcgeady linked with zenit for £27m. however celtic have 10% of any profit spartak make meaning £1.7m. also heard villa want him for £18m but they need to sell more to buy.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Says on the radio mate we have 20% of any profit spartak make, meaning we went get in the region of 3.5 to 4m

Ed, after the aberdeen and dundee utd games I think its obvious we need a new CB cos big dan is a good player to be able to fall back on but I think we need a bit more class next to wilson, with rogne as an understudy. My worry is that, compared tok all the CBs rangers have been linked with, Lenny doesn't seem to be interested. Do u have any info on the positions/targets he has his eye on?
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - You all know I am not Majstorivic biggest fan and he will be 35 by the time the season ends. Obviously the priority is the GK position, as NL has stated. He would also like another striker brought in and would be interested in a CB, if the right one became available. I would have preferred Mulgrew/O'Dea beside Wilson than Majstorovic. I would expect a lot of players moving out before the window closes, freeing up room in the squad.}

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Spot on big ed why dont we sign another LB & move Mulgrew inside to play with big Kelvin, I think mulgrew has been a star so far this season (& the latter part of last) & has improved out of sight,
what say you young ed?
marty bhoy {Ed007's Note - Morning Marty. I'd prefer another player brought in to play LB as well. As you say that will allow Mulgrew to stay in the middle.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed is that just an educated guess that there will be a lot of movement out of the squad prior to the close of the window or something more substantiated? I agree that we need to reduce numbers in the squad but the problem is we need poeple to be interested in them first. I would like to see around 6 leaving and coming in, GK, CB/LB and ST. {Ed007's Note - There is interest in a few CFC players that are "surplus to requirements"}

daily mirror says liverpool after mccourt. would be an impact sub if they are chasing games or struggling to break teams down, even though i doubt he is good enough to play in the premiership.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

SELL HIM...one of the most over-rated players I have ever seen...lazy and inconsistant....

Hold out for a couple of million. take the biscuit, seeing as english clubs have been doing that to scottish teams for years

First time poster on here and Erik Huseklepp's agent has said he will move before the end of the transfer window with one of the teams rumoured to be Portsmouth. No disrespect to Portsmouth but surely we must be one of the top teams he would sign for considering we have been interested in the past. {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site.}

Dalgliesh considers move for Celtic paddy mccourt Source BBC website via daily mirror {Ed007's Note - This rumour is gathering pace. I am flabbergasted TBH. I will try and find out tomorrow exactly if there is any truth in it. Paddy's stock is high after his international performance. In saying that, they did buy C*****e A**m so they would see Paddy as Zidane, Pele and Peter Grant rolled into one next to him!}

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Edd007...Paddy is off to Blackpool,Liverpool aye right. {Ed007's Note - I never agreed with the LFC link, as for Blackpool, they have tried to sign him on loan the last 2 seasons. Chances are they are still keen on him.}
